We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it turned out okay. He showed up on time, and he called me earlier and told me that he happened to be in the area. He came in, and showed me the options that I had, and what type of lock that I could purchase. I didn't feel that he was pressuring me to go for the bigger one, like some salespeople do. He completed his job within 15 to 20 minutes and he left. He did send me a text asking me to rate him. He was professional. I paid him extra for the locks and keys. I really didn't know what outside pricing would be. I would use him again. I work in the banking industry so I am very particular about ratings.

Leo showed up on time. He was efficient and courteous. He offered me a discount for being a Angise list member. He took care of the problem and also repair the gate in order to make it close better.

Showed up on time. It turns out that the quoted fee is just for showing up - not for any work performed. So, what I thought would be a $25 call, turned out to be $100. Next time I'll know to ask for a full estimate on the phone. Nevertheless, they did what was needed. They had a mini-shop in the back of the truck, and the technician was able to complete the job in good time.

I purchased a Big Deal coupon from them. The big deal price was just for the service call which was about $19. I basically ended up paying exactly what I would have paid if I had just called them up. They were good. The deal was misleading and it wasn’t really a deal. It was like I prepaid for their service call. The quality of service was great.

Leo was punctual. He told me up front that any repairs would be in addition to the amount I had paid for his visit. He seemed knowledgeable about the product and its mechanism, and worked efficiently. In the end, I opted to leave things as they were. He did not charge me any additional fees.

They showed up on time but they couldn't fix the lock. They were enthusiastic but they weren't able to fix it and my disappointment is coming from that standpoint. I did find place that is working and fixing the lock now. They also don't call me back. I really didn't have a chance to use their service because they didn't completed the job.

From my first call to Leo, I felt like I made a good choice based on Lion's recommendations on Angie's LIst. Leo and I arranged a time and date for service and he was exactly on time. Leo was prepared, polite and explained my options after a brief review of the scope of the job. He offered me a totally first class solution, and I did not want to commit to the proposal he offered, which was the safest and most efficient, but the price was more than I was prepared for at the time,. He came back to me with a perfect workable solution, and I was happy. He assured me that it was the best solution for the price, and I agreed. He was quick, clean and thorough. I am very happy with the work, and wouldn't trust anyone but Lion. I would highly recommend Lion to anyone and everyone. This is a first class company, and a quality honest and first class service. The main problem with the lock (not operating with the key) did not manifest while Leo was here. He opened, inspected, cleaned, lubricated and tried the lock several times while it operated properly. He was apologetic that he couldn't find anything wrong with the lock. He told me to call him as soon as the problem re-appeared and he would come back as soon as possible. He said he can respond very quickly since he works and lives in the area and would diagnose the problem free of charge. You gotta love that kind of service!

I purchased a $19.99 Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it turned out fine. He came on time and he fixed my lock problem. My only concern was that the amount I paid for the Big Deal was applied to the work that he did. I had usually found that to be the case. That was about the only time that I have had that happen. Anyway, I needed the lock changed so he was fast and did a good job. It took three minutes to fix the lock so I thought the final price of $103 was more expensive than it should have been.

It was fine. They came and fixed it and left. Nothing really stood out. It was very fast. I think the only question was that we were unclear of what the service was. I think what we paid for is that he was going to come and do a service call but when he came, it sounded like what he advertised and what he was doing didn't quite exactly lined up but what we needed done got done. It ended up okay but there seemed to be a little miscommunication about what to do and what we paid for. But other than that, it was good. I don't think there was any scheduling problems, I think it had more to do with when I could be home to handle it. I think we would call them if we needed something done.

The locksmith arrived a bit late, but seemed otherwise professional. The lock was rekeyed as requested, but the total paid ($20 for the deal plus $65) for the re-key was more than we'd spent for someone to come and re-key 5 locks about a year ago ($75) without the help of Angie's List. Maybe prices have gone up or maybe the biggest part of the cost is really the travel time. Either way, more that I expected to pay for a "deal", however the work was done well and it seemed that the provider knew his business. I'll probably call the local guy next time to price shop since his work was good too.

It was a beautiful sunny Los Angeles day (as they usually are). Leo was right on time and immediately started to work. He's efficient, proficient, and neat. Enjoyed chatting with him as he installed the locks. Got a few extra keys and within an hour he was on his way. Very happy with the locks, with the service and now knowing who to call should I need any work in the lock/security arena. Very happy customer.

Leo picked up the phone promptly, assured me that he would arrive in an hour or less and did so. He tackled the problem and unlocked my door in seconds. He was careful not to damage the keyhole. He then reviewed some potential security breaches and was able to upgrade all 5 entrances into my home with the most advanced locks and computerized keys. All of this was done in the space of am hour and the job performed was clean, efficient and professional. Leo also has a great demeanor and takes pride in his business and work. I would highly recommend his services, A++

Technician was very accommodating on the phone and prompt in arriving to look at the problem. After some tinkering, he determined he did not have the part to fix the lock and that it needed to be ordered. The new lock came in the time promised, but I was surprised at the added fees for some of the items, for example, rekeying the lock (to match others at the house). Installation was $30 (discounted from $45 when I raised my eyebrows - this was on top of $25 service call), rekey was $20, lock was $235. Total for everything (two trips) $ 330.

My experience with them was okay. There was some extra cost which I didn’t know but it was okay. I didn’t have any issues with them. My interaction with them was reasonable.

When I called I was provided a one hour window when work would be performed. Knowing I was eager to have the work done LION arrived early, finished the job sooner than anticipated and under the initial estimate. As the President of the HOA for an older building I deal with a lot of providers on a regular basis. LION (and Leo) provided the best service experience I've had in over a decade. I would recommend them without reservation based on my experience - and will be using LION for all Security and Locksmith services for our building going forward.

As reflected above, he was punctual, professional, etc. but his labor cost is relatively high. He initially quoted me $60? $40? to install a $9 slide latch. Normally, he said, his labor cost starts at $85. Citing limited finances, I decided to forego the work. No way could I afford $20 already paid for the deal plus $60? $40? labor cost. As a help to me, he accepted $20. Before purchasing the deal, I thought the fine print stated one must have their own lock, etc. and labor costs START at $19.99. However, today, Leon explained the $19.99 goes to Angie's List and my $20 payment was all he received for labor and transportation to my place. It's probably best to call him for "larger" jobs such as a lock out, installing large dead bolt lock, etc. I appreciate his consideration.
