LET'S GET GROWING

We contacted Nanciann in early June by telephone. She did not return our call until June 25th. She made an appt. to come to our house to look at our landscaping needs on 6/27. She stayed for about an hour. She's a very pleasant and apparently knowledgeable lady. he gave us a reference, a house nearby whose landscaping she had done. She said she'd work up a rough plan and sketch and come back on July 1 or 2. We looked at the house to which she referred us. It looked professional, not to our taste, but well done. We awaited her return. (She told us she'd start her hourly fee when she returned). We haven't heard from her since. Our experience seems to be similar to another report on Let's Get Growing. Too bad. Very nice lady, and I suspect a good landscape designer.

Nanciann was extremely easy to work with and had a wonderful sense of how to blend the new features she was adding with the existing landscaping in the back yard. Her crew was timely and professional and also easy to get along with. The whole experience was a pleasure.

We met with Nanciann two times to discuss our project. She spent a lot of time with us during both meetings and seemed very interested in our job. However, she canceled one meeting at the last minute and forgot about one all together. Also, there were many times that our follow-up phone calls went unanswered for over a week. At one point, we had assumed that she was not interested in our job and just chose not to call us back. But, after she called and said that she was still very interested we decided to continue on with her. She left our house after our second meeting with plans to call the following week to set up the schedule for our job. We never heard from her again despite multiple calls to both her home and cell phone. We should have gone with our gut instinct after being blown off the first couple of times. I think its okay to turn down a job if it isn't the right fit. But the way we were just completely dropped without any explanation was very unprofessional.

We then met a week or so later to discuss various plant choices and decided on selection. Within about one week, the plants were delivered and installed that weekend. She was attentive, cheerful, detail oriented and even assisted her crew in placing the plants. Nanciann was an absolute pleasure to work with and I would, without hesitation, recommend her services to anyone.

'LET'S GET GROWING' DID A SPLENDID JOB ON OUR FRONT YARD. YOU CAN PROBABLY GET A CHEAPER PRICE ELSEWHERE, BUT THE OWNER'S EXPERTISE IS WELL WORTH THE EXTRA OUTPUT. ALL PLANTS AND LABOR WERE ACCOUNTED FOR ON A PRICE SHEET AND A CLOSE ESTIMATE TO THE ACTUAL END PRICE WAS GIVEN BEFORE WORK BEGAN.
