+ -1 moreIt did not go well. I never received a receipt for the "services" I received. I don't recommend this company, especially because this type of service is supposed to take stress away, not give you more. The movers were unprofessional; they are thieves, and careless with your property. Don’t use this company. It will cause you more headaches than help you.
Description of Work: I hired LA Movers to move my belongings from my house to storage. Two men initially came, followed by two additional men. They asked for payment right when they arrived at my storage unit, before unloading the truck. The mover did not give me a receipt and refused later to provide me with a copy of the receipt. I realized the same night that my new, unopened phone and jewellery was missing from my house. I am certain it was there when they got to the house. Additionally, I called the company to get a copy of my receipt. I was told many times I called that they would fax a copy to me. They never did. I just gave up. I can't deal with this anymore. I hope they go out of business. Do not use this company. Check with Better Business Bureau. They received an “F” there too.
