I am very disappointed in this company. I originally selected them based on Yelp and Angie List reviews. I put in a high-end system. I had a new AC installed in February 2018 and as of July 2018 I have had 4 service calls on the unit. First, every technician has said it was a different problem – I am not confident they know how to diagnosis their products. Second, when you call for an appointment to fix the unit, it takes 2-3 days before they come out. You would think a new system installation under warranty would have priority. Third, they have to order a part but they can't tell you how long that will take. I cannot recommend this company to any future buyers.

David was on time and I had received a call from the company informing me he's on his way. Upon discussing the problem with David, he mentioned minimum will be at least $400 but it could go up considerably, perhaps $1500 or more. Once I mentioned I'm on a limited budget, he told me he'll wave the service all of $100 to come out and leave without looking at the unit. Well, that built my confidence. I gave him the go ahead. Though the repairs were more than my budget but I believe he was fair and honest. He took pictures of everything and showed them to me, explaining how the system works. The unit works great. I signed up a year contract with them. I certainly would recommend them and will ask for David.

They never returned my call even though I left my information twice w their call center Busy is one thing but not responding at all says a lot about how they value customers

Super! After the installation - which took one day - the crew returned the next day to rebuilt one of the ducts in our 1981 home so that our upstairs rooms have equal temperature as the downstairs. They took the time to get the project right, not just right but fitting our needs perfectly. Totally smooth communication and respect for the customer!

yes, it was the hottest day of the year and they were busy. I got that. So I waited two weeks for my appointment on a Thursday-- no one came. I called, bypassing the answering service (which is useless), and was assured I would have someone there the next morning. I had to keep calling. They said I was the second job of the day and he was coming from a long distance, they were sorry and would waive the diagnostic fee. Finally, someone came out at 7pm-- pretty late. When he got here, I realized none of that was true. So obviously, there was a leak in the Freon. Warranty is for parts only. I was quoted $1800 to find the leak and fix it. (2 people @ $150/hour x 6hrs). Sorry, I still owe about that on this unit- I refused. Does anyone know if someone can do this for a more reasonable fee?

The service was excellent the technician is a 12 year veteran with JW (David Galindo) he explained everything in details what he was going check first, to type of equipment he was using to help determine the cause of the break down and answer all my questions. Adolfo and Gus did an excellent job of removing our old system and installing a whole new system, including duct work. We were told it would be no longer than a two and a half day job and that is exactly what it was. They arrived punctually on the agreed upon start time each day. They worked efficiently, quietly and were respectful of our home, including a complete clean up each day before they left. We couldn't have asked for a better team. They explained exactly what they were doing and discussed potential problem areas and came up with solutions. Even though some extra things had to be done, the price did not go up from the original contract. Everyone we dealt with the company, including Denise in the office, was friendly and helpful. After the job was completed, Gus walked us through the whole system, pointing out exactly what each piece of equipment did and where all the ducts led. He and Adolfo tested the system extensively before they left, making sure we were completely satisfied. I unreservedly recommend JW Heating & Air.

Two crews were sent because there were 2 units. Each worker knew exactly what to and how to solve problems. Everyone worked together well. The work was completed in 2 days. The areas were left neat and clean. 2 holes were accidentally made in the ceiling. Jason Volk was sent by the company and made an excellent repair. This company was one of the best and most professional I have encountered. Everyone takes pride in his work. I can't say enough good things about JW.

Technician was polite, friendly, and helpful. He explained everything well. We started a contract for twice yearly maintenance of our central AC and heating.

Fantastic, al around! The furnace is now perfect! I was especially impressed with how neat and careful the technician was. He brought booties and left no bits behind. Highly recommended!

The technician was prompt, professional and carefully explained everything he was going to do. He recommended the replacement of a particular part and was able to show that this part had not been replaced during the past year by going through the maintenance and service history with me. I highly recommend both this particular technician and JW Heating.

Ted listened to what we wanted and took his time to understand the scope of the job. He thoroughly checked out everything. He took measurements and calculated what type of system would fit our needs. Ted clearly explained the process from start to finish. He didn't rush. He didn't try to upsell products we didn't need. Ted made sure I understood everything. Best of all, he presented a detailed, written estimate before he left. We will definitely hire JW Heating and Air for this project. We feel confident that they will do a great job and stand by the quality of their work.

The inspection was very thorough and professional. Victor inspected the rooftop unit and showed my what he saw. He also inspected the attic to show me the ductwork.

The scheduling process was very easy and professional. Matt arrived and was able to diagnose what the problem was after a few hours of testing. Turns out there was some leak in the cooling system and a due test needs to be done. He will come back in two weeks to check where the leak is and fix it. He topped off the coolant in the meantime and now the house is cooling up nicely. We had another tech from another company check earlier this week and totally misdiagnosed the problem as an electrical issue and was quoting us $2000 to fix it. JW will now be our go-to company for all our AC/Heating issues.

Jeff from JW arrived punctually and thoroughly checked the property to advise what equipment would best suit our needs and to check for any potential problems. He was extremely knowledgeable, easy to work with, and not high pressure. He patiently answered all of our questions and gave us good advice. He explained exactly what would be involved in the installation process. We had not planned to actually sign a contract at this stage but we were so pleased with how well he handled everything and that it was a good indication of what to expect from JW that we did sign a contract.

JW has been my AC/Heating outfit for the last 4-5 years. They are professional, competitive, prompt, courteous & neat. They replaced a split-system in our workroom and yearly look in on that and on our household AC (Spring) & heating (fall) systems. Matt performed our service today and he was great.

Jacob arrived on time and put on his protective shoe covers which is always appreciated. We have installed both the furnace and AC from JW in the past few years and have found every aspect of the service to b excellent. Communication regarding the scope of the work to b done is clear. Very happy to have found this company originally through Angie’s List.

JW Heating and Air did an great job when they came out about a year ago to replace our ducting. However, a year later they came to complete a regular service. The technician was really late for the appointment and had a really hard time explaining why he was recommending over $1,000 in additional fixes. I called the main office 3 times over a two-week period to try and speak with someone who could explain the issues. Each time they said they would have a service manager call me. After I finally got a call back, I (foolishly) scheduled the service. On the first scheduled appointment they called about 2 hours after their window to say they would not be able to make it. I (foolishly) rescheduled. On the second scheduled appointment (which was scheduled for the first appointment of the day so they would "definitely be there on time"), I got constant excuses for over 3 hours as to why the technician was still not there. Finally, they claimed that there had been a miscommunication and the technician had been sitting in his truck around the corner waiting for parts. The dispatch manager was apologetic, and promised to have someone follow up with me... claiming that this was not their normal service level. That was over a week ago, and I have still not heard from them. BEWARE... these guys put on a good show, but will disappoint you in the end. NOT WORTH THE HASSLE.

He was professional and friendly and explained everything he was doing. He had the necessary parts for replacement already available, so no return trip was required.

It required several hours to complete, but the job was done well and I have my cooling back.

Jacob arrived in a timely manner. He set to work immediately, discovered the problem, and suggested an appropriate pathway to solution. The process needed to identify where the leak was occurring was described and implemented. Jacob and his work were exceptional in every way. He explained that the process needs time to complete, so he would return in a specified time to identify the leak and repair it. His explanations were clear and to the point. My wife and I were extremely pleased with his work and his demeanor.

Our AC went out; we had leaks. Both Victor and Josh were very helpful. We are very particular about details, but they worked with us and answered every question we had. They sincerely helped us explore our options. We ultimately went with JW.
