I hadn't had our heating and air conditioning unit serviced in probably ten years. JW came out inspected and did some minor part replacements. The technician showed up on time, explained everything clearly and performed the work quickly and at a reasonable cost.

I don't know about quality yet because it is a brand new system. I don't know if I would use them again at this point. It's too new. I wasn't happy with the communication back and forth or the scheduling. The work was not complete. They have to come back and redo some stuff. It's just not what I expected for the price for the work in your home. Maybe the system will crash on me again in a few weeks or it may last for years.

My AC condenser suddenly stopped functioning. I was able to get an appointment with a JW service professional quickly. He was prompt and polite and fixed what turned out to be a very simple problem.

I went with someone else. I would give an A to the salesperson. I can't really say much because I didn't use them. Nice salesperson is what I can say.

The technician made no attempt to diagnose the problem with the gas and simply told me I had the wrong type of furnace and it needed to be replaced. When I asked him for an estimate as to how much that might cost he said he could not tell me anything but that I would need to set an appointment with a salesman. The salesman was nice and professional enough, but he did his job, which was try to sell me $8K worth of upgrades without offering any alternatives or short-term solutions or even a diagnosis as to why we were smelling gas. Frustrated with that experience, I was given the name of a heating specialist who works on very high end residences with many years of experience. He quickly identified and solved the problem with the gas smell. He also recognized that I would eventually have to have to replace the entire system at a very high cost, but in the meantime as this furnace is able to keep us warm and, living in Southern California, we don't use it all that often, we might as well get what use we can out of it until it breaks down and forces our hand. It could be another 5-10 years before we need to replace it. So I consider the money I spent on JW Heating a waste.

The entire team (Ted, Jesse, Miguel, Adolfo) were terrific from start to finish. They were professional, hard working, friendly. They worked so well together and you could see that they respected and cared about each other. That is a sign of good management. Peg Schabes & Bart Braverman

Recently, we had an issue with our air conditioning system in which it needed very costly repairs of $1,400 and counting. We paid the initial amount with more expenses to come. We received a call about a week later from JW telling us that they were going to refund all of our money since it was discovered that we had purchased a 10-yr extended warranty that we had forgotten about. I was so pleased and excited to know that there are still honest companies out there. Thank you so much JW Heating and Air!

The workers were fine and it took a few days to compete the project.

Their work is outstanding. Everything was immaculate, it works and they talked me through the process. They explained everything well. They were the only system that went into my attic. They replaced the vents, built racks for them to hang on, encased everything in metal so it would stay clean. They added vents to imporve ventilation. a's

I needed to replace 2 systems, upstairs/downstairs, that were long past their service life. I got 4 estimates. Ted from JW was clearly the most professional and had the most complete presentation. Because of this, I expected his to be on the higher priced end. Not only was Ted's solution the best technically, but his was also VERY competitive. After Ted resolved all the technical questions about replacing 2 systems with one system having 3 thermostats/zones, hanging the system from the rafters and dealing with special challenges associated with my old systems... I chose JW. Throughout the process, I remained comfortable with the choice as everything was done like clockwork. It's a much bigger job than I expected, but everything unfolded exactly as Ted said it wood. We were scheduled quicky, crews showed up on time, courteous, professional and everyone was a pleasure to work with. I can't say enough good things about JW, Ted, Shawn, Rudy, Ramon C., Sal and even the subcontractors they used were excellent! JW gets my highest recommendation. Mark

I have reviewed them before to say that they did an excellent job and, even more important, came up with an ingenious and aesthetically attractive solution for our 1914 house. Previous companies with whom we had consulted proposed wall and ceiling systems which were incompatible with the era of our home. JW Heating and Air were able to place an underfloor system despite the fact that at some points, the house lies on the earth with no or little space. We were pleased with all aspects of the service. It has now been four years and everything is working well.

They were great. Responsive and fast. Three years later, still no problems. And their quote was one of the lowest, a great deal.

JW calls me to remind me when it's time for service and I've always been able to get an appointment when I want. The techs are very professional and friendly. I've been using them five or six years and have never had a complaint.
