The first time it was horrible. The company actually called me and I told them the gentleman was two hours late.I called back to confirm that they were coming, and they didn't answer.It was just really bad, he showed up and he had a really bad attitude.I told him to just check the AC because my parents were waiting for him and he left upset. The company called me back and I told them about the bad experience that I was having and right away the same day.They sent someone else over, and it was a totally different experience.I told her I spent 90 dollars on the coupon that I purchased for them and it was just like the worst experience. I told her I could have went to the yellow pages and picked someone out of thousands of people if that was the type of service I was going to be getting. She apologized, and she said she'd be more than happy to send someone else to check out the AC. They probably came within four hours to check out the AC.

They finished on time and on budget.

Outstanding! Extremely satisfied! Always on time never one second late on a 3 day installation project. Very clean job always picking up after themselves. Ismael, Ramon, Felipe and consultant David were a perfect team. Everything was explained where I can understand. Also, I came up with a concern where Jim a field supervisor took care of it IMMEDIATELY! These guys went above and beyond especially Ismael, Ramon, Felipe and David. Big time props ! It was a bit expensive from other quotes but you definitely get what you pay for. It's better to be safe than sorry ! All with city permits so it gives you a peace of mind.

From start to finish, the job was perfect. The people were engaged and professional. Couldn't have asked for a better performance.

David of JW found a leak. He put in new refrigerant and a solution to aid in finding the leak. He will return in 2 weeks to complete the job. I found him to be very competent and responsive.

The service tech discovered a broken part which he had on his truck to replace and get the unit back to blowing cool air as best as possible. The tech, Ruddy, also noticed a build up on the filter, so he wisely replaced that as well. JW always maintains the units very well and is precise in providing their service and schedule always to my needs.

So far they have been excellent. There was no charge for the estimate. I trust them.

An appointment was made so that regular service and repair could be done at the same time. The technician was very professional, timely, knowledgable and took care of all AC/HVAC needs.

The sales rep they sent out (Ted) was punctual and professional, during the hour I spent with him, walking through the house taking measurements and talking installation options. However, I was told that I would be sent a quote to the email address I provided...which never happened. I called the JW office (3) times over the course of (3) weeks, and was told that Ted would be contacted to resolve the issue. Nothing was done. In the end I never received a quote, and was never contacted by JW to resolve the issue. Poor business, and not much concern about a potential customer. I look to Angie's list for reputable service folks, however the ratings do not match my experience in this instance.

Juan arrived with the four -hour window I had been given when setting up the inspection. He did a visual examination of the ducts by going under the house and also opening up vents from inside the house to inspect. He could find no sign of leakage, which leaves open the question of why I was getting the bad smell during the winter (but I'm not getting that smell now that the weather is dry). I rated the overall inspection and price a 'B' instead of 'A' because I had thought from the discussion I had when setting up the inspection that if the visual inspection did not show anything, a camera could be run through the vents for a closer inspection. Apparently, that's another inspection, for more money. Nonetheless, as with all my previous contact with JW Heating and Air, Juan was very professional, communicated well and was careful during the in-house vent inspection. I've recommended JW to several other people due to their professionalism and quality. The end decision was that I would see if the smell returned next winter, and if so, I would then have a duct cleaning and possibly a duct re-sealing.

They are great. I am calling them next month. I didn't dislike anything. They came in and did what they were supposed to do. It took about 20 minutes to a half an hour. He did give me some recommendations which I am going to call and take him up on. That is about it.

One of their technicians provided a service check on our air conditioning unit today. They are conscientious and thorough. The contract also covers a furnace check come cold weather.

We were desperate for help on a very hot day and they came quickly to get the A/C working again. Needed a couple of parts and they had them on the truck so we were back in business in no time. The unit is old and we plan to use JW Heating & Air to replace the unit soon. Victor, Alex & William were so nice to work with and documented everything before and after. Great office people too. Reliable, trustworthy company. Highly recommend!!

Very well - they estimated 2 days and that's what it took. Team was exceptionally polite/courteous and kept worksite tidy, especially before leaving each day. They partnered on finding solutions to emergent problems rather than doing whatever was quickest/cheapest for them. Noted a couple of concerns and they have been professional in scheduling resolution.

The service was done well. We got a good price and friendly, reliable service.

I've used Alex at JW Heating and Air before and asked for him specifically this time, because he is very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. He also always explains everything clearly and shows you the problem (even if it requires taking photos under your house). Alex found the problem right away, and had parts in his truck to fix it immediately. He even installed a surge protector at no extra charge.

very well. Excellent, efficient, friendly, clean, crew finished job in one day. The wrong brand AC was delivered by their supplier, but the issue was reaolved immediately without question. The install was very clean and neat. We put in the AC in the attic added on to existing furnace. JW was able to squeeze in no problem. Extra register added and one existing one replaced with larger register and ducting to provide efficient cooling. Passed the HERS test. Limited space in backyard and Ted the Sales Rep didn't want to ruin the deck by placing the Carrier condenser unit. I am glad I followed his advice and put in a 4 ton slimline unit on the sideyard that just falls under the city permit standards for distance to proprty line. Saved my deck and is also out of sight and the quiet unit is unheard since it is placed next to a bathroom. Ted was very pleasant and patient and answered all my questions fully. I appreciated the time he took to explain things so I could make a good decision. JW Air was not the cheapest, but not much more than the lowest bid, but well worth the service and professionalism.

Everything went smoothly and professionally. I requested an estimate and they had David respond within a couple of days. He was very thorough in his assessment and said they could install my new system the following week. Fortunately they were able to use the California HERO program to make the payments for the new system affordable. He recommend a new Lennox system, and explained it would be a two day installation job. He said that the crew would show up around six a.m. and start work at seven a.m. The next week that's exactly what happened. The crew of five showed up on time. They are friendly, professional, and courteous. They covered the floor and any work area to protect against dust. They even wear booties in the house. After the first day they cleaned all the work areas and removed all trash. The second day was a repeat of the first. They finished on time and made sure I was checked out on the new system. JW secured all the city permits and installed the new system up to code. The final step is to have the city inspector sign off on the job. JW will take care of contacting and set up the inspection, and will have a manager on site to prepare everything for the inspection. I am very pleased with the stress free experience and would highly recommend JW Heating and Air. Replacing this system is a big investment, and it was good to know that all the details were handled with care by experts.

I highly recommend this company. They we very nice and professional. Their pricing came in on the low-average side, compared to other companies that gave us a bid. It was probably one of the most positive and easy home improvement experiences we've had. We plan on using them for maintenance in the future.

Always on time, worked with our schedule, A/C seems to work fine now.
