Description of Work: The whole experience with the company from the estimate with John through the team of Sean, Elias, and Ramon was positive. The entire team was on time, clean, with minimal inconvenience which seemed impossible if you can imagine an old house with old ducts, small crawl spaces, and hot weather, but they did it. I had to call to ask a few questions regarding the cooling of a room and John came out, redirected one of the vents and adjusted the duct without any problem. I highly recommend them for any job. Thanks again!!

Description of Work: I hired JW Heating and Air for the installation of two central A/C systems (one for each floor). Originally I had 5 bids for the job and JW 's bid was towards the high side. However, I decided to use them because the owner and the sales person (direct rep: John Mattson) were very courteous and knowledgeable regarding the different A/C components and the restraints they might encounter in my old house. The removal of my old A/C units and the installation of the new units went very smoothly, especially because of the superb skills of the job supervisor (lead installer: Joe Howard) and the entire team. They kept the area clean after each day of work. I finally added some additional items including the humidifiers and several carbon monoxide monitors, and they were completed without any complications. Now I would save some money from the electricity bills because of the high efficiency machines and no more leaking from the air ducts.

Description of Work: By far the best heating and A/C service and installation company I have ever had do work for me. The estimate was detailed and every aspect of the project was clearly laid out. The installation crew were extremely polite and professional, and very tidy. The completed project was so neatly done it almost looked like a work of art. One very small item was forgotten and George immediately took care of it. There was a need for a follow-up service call and that too was completed on the same day and no charge. I highly recommend George, Joe and the entire JW team.

Description of Work: The JjW crew showed up as scheduled and went right to work. All crew members were very proficient at their jobs. They worked quickly and cleaned as they moved along. The job was supposed to be completed in two days. They finished the job in one. And our new ac works flawlessly. I also called them to do some repair work for my mother. Again they did a great job. I will use and recommend them in the future.

Description of Work: After receiving several bids for a new furnace and a/c, I decided to go with JW and I'm glad I did. George Magnani, my go-to guy, was extremely professional, thorough, and detailed. He made sure I understood every step along the way. The installers were courteous, punctual, and efficient. After the installation, Mr. Magnani returned on several occasions to walk me through the system and to check a minor noise situation that I had been hearing. JW corrected the problem right away. Mr. Magnani was also was present when the city inspector came to inspect the units. JW does cost slightly more than other competetors, but they are well worth it. I am very happy with the system and its installation.

Description of Work: I recently replaced my 1980's vintage heating and AC system. JW was one of the companies from whom I requested an estimate. Though I did not actually contract with them for the work, I was impressed by their bid, their knowledge, their professionalism, and their communication. JW was my close second choice.

Description of Work: JW was the third company I called when we had no heat whatsoever on the bedroom side of our house. We were freezing, are senior citizens, and my husband was newly home from surgery, having broken his hip. The first company had no idea how long it would take to fix the furnace, or if the "blower" that was not functioning was even available. The furnace is 20 years old. In any case, he could not give me an estimate as to time or cost. The second company told me that two different parts were broken (not the blower), and that each part would be over $500.00 to replace. That estimate for repairs was over $1100.00, but the recommendation was to replace the furnace for $2800.00. I called Jeff Williams at JW Heating & Air. I found him on Angie's List. Jeff sent out a technician, who changed a filter, checked the furnace and had had it working in a few minutes! The bill was $99.00. Although the furnace is old, and may need replacing soon, I would not call anybody for heating and airconditioning problems in the future but JW Heating! The work was performed at my home in Beverly Hills.

Description of Work: Shame on me for not reading the fine print for a "tune-up" to my A/C and heating systems. I apparently was only paying for an older gentleman who should be retired to tell me that my systems were old and there was nothing he could do to "tune" them up. Total scam.

Description of Work: Needed thermostat fixed, and central air con/heating system checked; serviceman was prompt, polite, worked quickly and thoroughly. I had coupons for great deal and there was no hassle with that. He fixed the thermostat and everything else checked out. Great service!

Description of Work: Diagnosed and fixed problem with heater fan that would not turn off. Quickly noted that a switch was stuck in on position. Cleaned and repaired it. Check operation 4 times to make sure all was well.
