Great. Diagnosed problem, gave us an estimate.

Victor the technician was punctual, informative and knowledgeable. He understood why we called for service and proceeded to inspect the A/C unit. He determined that the A/C system has loss of Freon and the compressor overheats which causes the unit to blow-out the fuses. He demonstrated how he checked the pressure within the system, using a pressure gauge and the unit manufacturer's pressure limits to have. Victor suspects there may be a leak(s) within the system to cause the loss of Freon. He suggested to run a leak test, where a dye will run though the system for a few days and he will return to check for leaks. At which time he will determine whether repairs can be made or if the leaks are within areas where repairs can not be made but part(s) replaced. I asked a few "what if....." questions and he gave reasonable responses. We accepted the suggested leak test. Victor filled the system with Freon and the dye, he gave me instructions and we made an appointment for him to return in a few days. The system is working again, of course after the reload of Freon, but will not be able to assess the results until a few more days. Hopefully the system will only require small repairs, otherwise we will need to decide on more work and cost. Will complete the review at the end of the service in a few days.

i did not hire JW. The rep called back and 'warned' me of a few things before we scheduled an appointment for an estimate: They only carry Daiken because that is the only brand they trust [seems like they only carry Daiken for other reasons but they would not let me know any other reasons], and the minimum amount they will charge for a mini-split install is $6000. A Daiken mini split 18,000 costs less than $1500. $4500 for install? I don't think so

We have had a service contract with them for 3-4 years. They come twice a year. They are always wonderful and always come on time. If they are going to be late, they always let me know. I don't have anybody to compare the price. They have been late once, but he called to warn me. There was an accident, but it wasn't their fault. They are very knowledgeable. They know their stuff. They fix problems. I would definitely use them again.

They were on time. When they said they were going to do things, they did them. At the end of the day they always got with me to address any concerns I had. They always cleaned up, there wasn't a speck of dust after they left. They really had a tough job putting the duct work, I have a very small attic. The two back bedrooms have no attic access so they had to come up with some creative ways to go through the roof to get the duct work in there. They went above and beyond my expectations. I would use them again in a heart beat.

I have been in the home improvement industry on the supply and finance side of the business for over 20 years and have had good and bad service over the years when getting my own work done. JW exceeded my expectations from the initial call for service, the sales call, and installation of my system. Ted was my sales person and came up as an installer for several years before getting into Sales. He has gret hands-on knowledge of sysyem design and installation and is a great low-pressure sales pro. Shawn and his team were a pleasure to have in our house for 2 days during the installation, answered all of my annoying questions, and they even brought there own handsoap, paper towels, and air freshner for the bathroom they received permission to use. I received 4 bids for my system and chose JW for their professionalism and reasonable cost for the project. It was a pleasant surprise to have such an organized and professional company come into my home with no headaches. i highly reccommend JW for any of your HVAC needs.

He came over and turned the breaker on. He informed me that I would need a new system which is really expensive. I am now thinking about a getting a window ac unit. He is a great guy.

Called on a Monday morning at 8am and the technician was with me by 10:30. Diagnosed the problem pretty much immediately and was able to install a temporary motor whilst the specific model we required was ordered. Then came back and installed the new motor the following week. Great service as always with this company.

I guess it went ok, but I have a few follow up questions that I've called at least 3-5 times during August to JW Heating and Air and I have not had anyone returned my calls nor left me a message. Rep each time kept saying that they will have the technician who serviced me return my call and I have yet to hear back from him. We are now at almost a month later. I gave up after my last call. I have a maintenance contract with them and hope when that time comes that they will actually call me back to do the service. I'm now looking for a company to clean my vent.

Absolutely terrible. I am truly baffled by how they have received positive reviews. Our AC stopped working so we called JW Heating and Air based on the strong reviews on angies list. I purchased an assessment through Angie's list. They came out to check the AC but didn't do anything to fix it. A day later they sent us an invoice for the service (which we already paid for) and a poorly worded description of the problem, with no estimates of the cost to fix it. We called several times to ask what the problem was and how to get someone to come out and fix it. They said they would just send someone out. Someone was finally sent to fix it, except that he didn't fix it. He said he put in a temporary solution and would EMAIL us an explanation of the problem and the cost to fix it. A day later we received another invoice for $1,200 for the 3 hrs of service the previous day and a quote for $5,000-6,000 to actually fix it. We immediately responded to the email to clarify the $1,200 charge, which we were never told about prior to the service. We did not hear back, except to be mailed another copy of the $1,200 invoice.

These guys were extremely courteous and professional. They kept everything clean and made sure the floors were protected. It was a big job and they did it all in one day. They even took their lunch break in two shifts so there was always someone working on the job. Super fast, super efficient and I can not say how please we were with the way this went. Do yourself a favor and use these guys. Easy breezy..like the new AC unit. :)

Sales representative provided a detailed presentation with diagrams, photos, specifications, and cost information. Very well done.

David was very professional and courteous. He diagnosed the problem with the air conditioner and informed me of what he was doing and what the costs would be at each step of the repair. One part was replaced right away and unit is working now. Recommended that I replace a second part that was working but not correctly. We discussed the pros and cons of doing it now or later. I have opted to do it now. Since the part is a specific one to the unit, he will get the part and we have rescheduled for the second part to be done in one week. Also opted to do a service contract with them since they would give that to me at a reduced rate with the work being done now. Since the previous company I had servicing my HVAC system has gone out of business, I have been searching for a new company to go with on a regular basis for doing maintenance on the system. This is the first company after having several out for estimates last year that I have felt comfortable with to have out on a regular basis. Thanks for the excellent service, David.

It finished on time. The inspector did find several issues, but were fixed and inspection passed.

They were able to send someone out the very next day and even called at 10:30am to ask if they could come earlier than the 12 - 4pm window originally scheduled. David was kind, knowledgeable and offered options for my consideration. He gave advice on different filters and system options to help manage some allergy issues in our family. I am thrilled to have my go to HVAC people now!
