Like Clockwork!! I have an older Duplex building and it is super special to me. The Team was prompt, they covered the floors and all furniture each day Very very tidy, efficient , polite hardworking detailed and swift! This is the most professional group I have every worked with and in 20 years of home owning!

The job went very smoothly. The crew arrived on time and completeded the job on schedule.

Issue: System leaking refrigerant. System stopped working in July during some tough heat and humidity. JW was currently slammed with maint. calls; 1st app't was 2 weeks out. On night of app't, (900pm), rather than reschedule and cause further delay, General Manager Carey and HVAC tech Jacob arrived to initiate leakage dye test and top-off refrigerant level. Dye test requires 12-14 days, then recheck, which revealed leaks in condenser & 1 evaporative.coil. New equipment was ordered, then installed 2 weeks later by Juan and Sal. System again functioning nicely. Project took awhile, primarily due to JW's high seasonal work volume and parts acquisition; understandable. Thanks to all involved personnel. Everyone was courteous, professional, thorough, and left the job site clean. Impressed with JW's commitment to customer satisfaction.

We chose them because they were the most professional in the quoting stage, and their professionalism carried throughout the project. They were clean and respectful and even brought their own soap! The real reason I'm glad that we went with them is that our compressor went out (in a fluke) and getting it repaired under warranty was quick and pain free.

After reading the great reviews on Angie’s list, I called at 8 am to get a quote for an HVAC replacement. The receptionist said that she would check with the owner for the schedule, and she would call me back. However, I never got a call back. It may have been a busy season, but it’s disappointing not to even get a call back.

As always with JW Heating and Air, everything went well. The customer service is excellent. This was a regular tune-up of my heating system prior to cold weather.

I contacted J.W. Air, after a few phone calls, on 2-3 occasions they kept sending their technicians to check our inside and the roof system, and decided that the compressor wasn't working. Finally they changed the whole roof system, but unfortunately the same problem continued. I have to say that their technicians are excellent, very polite, professional, and competent. I have to admit, that when originally their whole group came to replace our old unit. They were so clean cut, and professional looking, and polite, that I thought I was watching a 1950's movie! It's just hard to come buy these days. But unfortunately, that wasn't resolving our problem, and our temperature inside would never go lower than 78F, no matter how low we would put the thermometer. Finally, I had to get other professional opinions, and was told that a 3Ton unit is too small for the size of our 2 story Condo. And, to my pleasant surprise, after I communicated that with J.W. Air's customer service director, they were very responsive, and decided to change our system to a 4Ton unit. I have to say, even though it took some patience and persistence on my part, that over all I am very pleased with J.W.'s service. All of their different representatives answering the phones, the directors of different sections, I met or had to talk to, and all of their technicians are very polite and professional. You may pay a little more than some other companies, but you'll get excellent service.

JW Air was very professional, from start to finish. The initial appointment was very informative. The consultant was also always available to answer our questions and follow up on the details of the project. They did everything according to the schedule, which was very important to our family. They worked on organizing a permit for the AC unit. All the workers are very professional. The workspace is left very clean. The unit needed several adjustments, which the company did promptly and efficiently. If we were to know they would be so great, we would have installed AC ages ago! THANK YOU, JW!

Great. Juan, like every other service person they send, was fantastic, competent and super nice.

After I noticed my air conditioning was not completely cooling the house, I called JW. JW had installed the HVAC unit in 2010 and has been servicing it regularly since then. Due to the heat wave, it was a while before they had an opening but on the appointed day, Alex arrived on time and went up to the roof. He informed me the unit was low on refrigerant, which indicated there was a leak. I opted to have him perform a dye test to locate the leak ($499). He returned two weeks later and examined the unit. He then showed me pictures of the many areas of the coil that were leaking. He believed I would need to replace it entirely. I called JW to inquire about the warranty and, although it took a couple of days, Denise was able to determined that the coil itself was covered by the warranty. I would have to pay only for the labor. ($1,200) Today, Gus and Adolfo arrived right on time. Gus was very professional, explaining what they would be doing. After the installation, he came inside to make sure the air flowing from the vents was the proper temperature, talking with Adolfo by phone to have him add refrigerant until the readings were correct. He then returned to the roof to check the pressure readings before finally doing one last check of the temperature before declaring the job finished. At all times, Gus was friendly and informative, making sure I understood what was happening and had no questions. He showed me before and after pictures of the coil which JW requires of their workers on all jobs. While I cannot recommend Ruud as a manufacturer, I can--and have--recommend JW Heating and Air.

Excellent. All of the JW Heating and Air, Inc. staff that I worked with were excellent. Ted C. provided me with a comprehensive explanation of the work to be performed. Ismael and Ramon did an excellent job installing my new Lennox furnace. They were very professional and efficient. They made sure that I was comfortable with how my new furnace worked, operating the thermostat and when and how to change the filter. They secured my attic ducting. They arrived on time and worked very neatly, leaving the work area cleaner than they found it. The price for the job and the quality of the work performed were excellent. I am extremely pleased with JW Heating and Air, Inc. They are very customer-focused and have a real commitment to quality.

Repairman was very thorough in what he was doing including suggestions for how to avoid issues in the future.

well- fast effective service and good clean up

It was done well in a good amount of time with a quality replacement pump. The filters were also changed when the serviceman realized they were not allowing the water to flow well.

Excellent communication and professionalism

Technician was punctual. He took a quick look at our system and made some vague recommendations for improved air flow. He did not look at the outside portion of the system. Ultimately we decided not to engage them for further services.

Alex and Christian were very professional, clean and provided excellent service. They provided pictures of all of the vents. The cost per vent was relatively high compared to other providers. They also charged $100 for an initial evaluation of the vents, which seemed excessive and was not put toward the work.

I called for an appointment two or three weeks ago. We scheduled for 2 PM tomorrow. When they called to confirm they told me it was a four hour window, 2 PM to 6 PM. I called back and told them I was not told about "4 hour window." I was told the appointment was at 2 PM, I accommodate them until 5 PM, but no later. She put me on hold, then came back on and said that it has to be a four hour window, and they would call 30 minutes prior, depending on their last job. I asked if you could at least put a note that it cannot be later than 5 PM, and I should not be charged if they are going to be later than 5 PM. She then asked "do you want to cancel then?" I canceled.

Everything went well. They sent out one fellow. He overall did a good job, except I needed batteries replaced in the remote control. The remote control has a little tiny screws, and you need a special tool to open it. He told me, oh don't worry about the batteries. They will last and last. I asked him three times to replace the batteries. I got upset and said, d....it replace the batteries, and he did. I told his boss, people at JW what had happened, because they had called afterwords. They do that as a follow up. They were very personable and everything. They were very nice. Its just a minor little thing. Other than that, everything was fine.

Delivered on time and on budget. Very helpful.
