 + -1 moreThey were the least expensive by far. That said they did a couple of things that were not as expected. First the new floor gaps to the wall board was larger than expected. The previous floor had 3/8ths inch toe molding and I assumed the new floor would as well. The installation would have required a 3/4 inch toe molding which was too large and I asked them to glue in some small strips to make the gap smaller which they did. I ended up using 1/2 inch toe molding which looks acceptable. They were not particularly careful putting the furtiture back and we have some new scratches for the trouble. Finally when they left they did not adequately clean up after themselves leaving pieces of cut flooring on our front lawn. I might use them again as they were very inexpensive but I would be more specific about what I wanted with respect to the wall gaps. I would cover the furniture while moving it and insist that they clean up before being paid.
Description of Work: Jose Ramos and his helper came to home and installed hardwood in our living room and dining room. Unfortunately Jose was sick with the flu which meant his helper had to do all of the work. They moved our furniture out of the dining room and then began installing the floor. The furniture is very heavy but they managed to move it. They put down tar paper underlayment and began the installation. The work ran longer than planned because Jose was unable to help with the job. They finished up a couple of days late.
