Description of Work: I called because I had an emergency after hours plumbing issue. I was called back shortly, which was great, but was told they couldn't respond to non-clients and they would have to get someone out of bed and it would take too long. And to top it off I was told my bathtub/shower being filled with water over 24hrs, which was not going down was not an emergency. I did explain this was my only bathroom. I will not being recommending or calling them in the future. Why list your business after hours if it's not?

Description of Work: Wow these guys are great and I have used many different big name plumbers due to having an old yet cute house. These folks show up when they say, are direct and most of all polite and explain what they are doing. They have been to my house thus for 2 drain clogs, and 2 major leak repairs of a sink and a sewage pipe. I must point out JR has been here now a few times and is an excellent rep for JOMI plumbing. He does great work with a pleasant attitude, which when your plumbing is broken is very appreciated! Thanks Jomi!

+ 0 moreRudy came out and promptly removed the tub, snaked out the slow drain, and replaced the tub, with the pipes straight! He also adjusted the height of each of the four legs on the tub, because he noticed that they were somewhat uneven. Then he put clear caulking between the top edge of the tub and the wall to prevent water dripping down the wall. A small job, maybe, for him, but for us now the sink functions better than before the floor problem.
Description of Work: Re-align drain pipe from laundry room sink and check for slow drain. Our laundry room floor was recently replaced and the floor contractor was not able to properly reinstall the laundry tub, so the pipe was crooked and it leaked with each load.

+ -1 moreWhen I replaced a part on the disposal it was apparent that it needed to be fixed correctly. I called Jo-Mi and left a message on their answering machine that night. I got a return call early the next morning, scheduled an appointment and the service tech came out and corrected the mistake.
Description of Work: Previous owner of the home had jury-rigged the outlet from the disposal. It needed to be corrected once I fixed the disposal and found the problem.

+ -1 moreThey were very helpful with suggestions that they provided us. They found ways to do the work less expensively. They were very honest, fair and not just there for the money. I like that they showed up on time, which is one of my pet peeves. I don t have the invoice yet so I am not sure what they will charge all together.

+ -1 moreI had used him once before and had a great experience so I decided to call back. He was on time and cleaned up after himself. I had another estimate that said we needed a complete overhaul on the heater. Rudy from Jo-mi plumbing and heating came out for an estimate and said he knew exactly what we needed. He went to a local plumbing house to find a part that was not included on his fully equipped truck, installed it into the heater, at a cost of only $100 for the part and service. This was close to one year ago, and the heater has been working fine ever since.
Description of Work: What distinguishes this company is that the charge a reasonable rate from the time that they leave their shop. While you are on the clock at that moment, in comparing it to other prices I have always come out on top.

+ -1 moreKelvin, the owner is extremely well versed in his trade and has a great team of people working for him. The crew were careful to only cut holes in the wall where necessary and came up with a solution that did not require the shower tiles to be destroyed. All the plumbers were respectful for our home, leaving it as clean as when they arrived. The job was done in the time anticipated. The price was as quoted. A fair price for the work that needed to be done. We had received other quotes and selected JoMi because the owner, Kelvin was so thorough in presenting his plan.
Description of Work: Repipe part of two story home. The horizontal pipes had been replaced years prior. Now it was time to do the vertical pipes. This required cutting into the walls and ceiling.

+ -1 moreThe plumber was on time, very nice, clean, and helpful. He located unlabeled pipes in a huge apt. building and found the source of the leak very quickly. He fixed several other problems, while he was there and provided several new parts for preventative maintenance. While teaching me about how to deal with problems on my own, should I need to. I highly recommend their services.
Description of Work: Located and fixed toilet leak, replaced several parts, pointed out and repaired several on going problems, that I didnt realize could be fixed.

gas leak repair
+ -1 moreVery frustrating dealing with this company. They are not prompt and do very shoddy work. I Will not use them again.
Description of Work: The work consisted of installing a new gas line from the main house to the guest house. They dug a trench from the back garden across the walkway to the guest house. In the process a drain cover near the site was broken (later replaced) and the cement pieces from the drilling were not disposed of properly but instead buried in my garden. After several calls to Jo-Mi, they came to resolve it. They also did not connect the gas line properly and 2 days after the installation I noticed gas leaking. They could not come to connect it until 2 days after calling them about it. I had to have the Gas Company connect it- I could not let the gas continue to leak.
