Commercial, industrial and residential demolition, interior strip out, hard & soft demolition, hand wrecking crews, side clearing, end dump & roll off.
I met Jose Jiminez of Jiminez Demolition, Inc. and he gave me a fair estimate for the job I wanted done.Tthere are some language barriers issues, but he understood what I needed done for the most part. I accepted his bid because it was significantly more cost effective than another bid I received. I checked his license with the State of California and he is licensed, bonded and provides worker's comp to his employees. He also does business as a corporation. He did not show up on the day of the demolition, and I only communicated with him throughout the day by phone. He did not communicate certain things clearly to his crew. The finer details of the demolition job were lost. When I caught the mistakes, it was up to me to fix them. The job was done quickly. After I accepted the bid, he performed the demolition the next day.

The job was done quickly and well. Jose's team members work well together, and the job site seemed orchestrated at times. This large job was done in three days. The temperature went up to 106 one day, but it didn't seem to change his team's effectiveness. The waterline was dinked by the bobcat and leaked. It was repaired without any fuss. The price for this amount of concrete removal was much lower than I expected. A separate estimate for tree removal alone from an arborist was around $1000 and wouldn't have included any stump removal.
Description of Work: Removed a make-shift garage attached to the side of the house. Removed an old greenhouse and shed. Broke up and removed a large concreted area (maybe 1000 sq ft) with a bobcat. Cut bricked front yard to allow yard/planting while leaving walkways. Removed bars from about 12 windows and security cage and door from main entry. Removed several trees and bushes. Removed a brick veneer that went about 1/3 of the way up the front walls of the house. Hauled everything away.
