Couldn't have been better. Quoted, Jumped on the job when we were ready, came every day, cleaned up finished, did follow up with painters who would complete the job, and we happily paid him.

He was able to drop in the new doors without doing any demo, everything went well.

My wife and I just moved into a new home in Los Angeles. The previous tenants let the place go so we had to fix many parts of the house. We had two large windowed french doors that needed to be replaced cause the wood frame had such bad rot that you could see right through the door. We called many companies to get a few estimates on full door replacement. We finally decided on Jerry because his rate was low and he was punctual and knowledgable about this kind of service. He ordered the perfect french doors for us and once the doors arrived he installed them without any problem. Jerry is fast, efficient and an all around nice guy. We couldn't be happier with the look of our new doors. This is my first review on Angie's List and I'm happy to be writing it about Jerry. I highly recommend his services. You will not be disappointed.

Our old wood frame windows have faced the world for close to 75 years and their time had come. But to maintain the character of the house it was important to have the replacements also be wood frame windows. We interviewed several local window and door contractors and settled on Jere almost he moment we met him. I was engaged and personable -- not in a big hurry for us to decide. He described in detail how the new windows were made to fit exactly in the existing frames and how the repair of the frames would go. At the end of the job, we could not have been more pleased with the outcome! The work was done to perfection and the windows look better than we had hoped for. We would have no hesitation using him again or recommending him to others.

Jere was very nice when I first called and he came out to the house very soon afterwards for a free estimate. He was able to diagnose the problem quickly -- many of our interior doors didn't close properly because the frames had shifted over the years (we live in a house built in the 1920's). He was very flexible about scheduling a time to come do the work and was able to fix all of the problems in a few hours. He even fixed a window problem that I forgot to mention until he was here working. Ultimately he ended up charging less than the original estimate he gave us! There's still a couple door latches that don't work very well but I think that's the nature of these old houses and the old hardware. The doors themselves all fit very well into their frames. He was very thorough in keeping the house clean even though he was doing a lot of woodwork that I'm guessing could have created a big mess. All that was gone by the time he left.

The building is old and we knew installing the new windows would be a challenge. Jeri got the job done on time and kept a great sense of humor despite the difficulty of the job. I would use him again

He adjusted the price ($425) since more time was required than what he originally anticipated. I felt that it was reasonable and agreed to the price increase. I suppose that I could have argued the point, but felt like he had done a very good job in rectifying a problem that was not visible until the door was hung. After using the pocket door now for almost a month, I am very pleased with the function and the look of the door, and I would recommend Jerry to anyone who needs prompt quality work.

We had a few highly rated companies from Angie's List come out and give us estimates to install new French doors and side lights. Jerry's Doors and Windows was one of them. And, he was also recommended by a local supplier of TM Cobb doors. Jerry's price was very competitive and we really appreciated how he communicated with us. We had a few things that needed to be addressed due to some dry rot, and he worked with us to find solutions. He is a meticulous and truly skilled craftsman. Jerry was very cooperative and fair and we enjoyed doing business with him .The work came out excellent! We are very happy with our new doors. He also did an outstanding job repairing some windows in our old house. Now they work great! If anyone needs doors or windows installed or repaired, we know just the guy!!!! .

It went great. Jerry was very friendly and professional. He was focused and finished in a decently timely manner. We even had great conversations during our working together. I am very pleased with the look and function of my doors.

What can I say? Jere showed up on time with everything he needed and did the job exactly as I would have expected. And it was about 1/2 the cost of the other guys. A really great experience overall. Would definitely use again and recommend to others.

Jerry arrived on time to take a look at my doors. I thought that I would have to replace two french doors. It turns out that Jerry gave me advice that saved me a whole lot of money, but resulted in no work for him. I really appreciate the time that he took, his honesty and his professionalism. I would not hesitate to use his services in the future, or to recommend him to friends.

I was in the process of having my house painted and thought it would be the right time to address my front door which for years has been a bit wobbly (deadbolt having trouble lining up, knobs and backplate were old and ugly, etc.). Called Jerry, told him I found him on Angie's List and wanted to see about him coming out to take a look and give me some possible options. Right off the bat his reply was "Well if you're having your house painted, it's a little too late isn't it?" What?! Too late to fix a door because I'm having my house painted?!? Then after I described my existing lock mechanism, his response there was, "Oh that's just a standard knob lock, you can just go and get one and install it yourself". Maybe I could, but the point was I wanted to talk to a professional about different lock options. I was perfectly nice and polite and all I kept getting was a condescending attitude. The final straw was when he asked where I lived. I told him Eagle Rock of which his response was "Ooh Eagle Rock, that's a bit out of my way" even though his Angie's list ad specifically names Eagle Rock as within his service area (his business address is 12 miles away!). I've NEVER in my life experienced this kind of thing during a service call. Clearly he didn't want my business...and after this experience I certainly don't want his.

Job was done promptly and professionally. Results seem very good and Jere was pleasant and easy to deal with. I would certainly use him again.

It went really well. Jerry is prompt, pays attention to detail and knows what he is doing. He came out when he said he would and provided an estimate based on our needs. We did a lot of it via email for the contract, etc. Then when the doors came in (they were ordered) we set a date and time. He showed up right on time and did the work. The doors look great, and open and close really nicely. He also does window and wood work.

I have used this company on several occasions for door and window replacements and refurbishments. Jerry has always been very helpful in assisting us with door selection All work has been done on time, on budget, and handled in a highly professional manner. We've really been very pleased with all of their work.

It took a day and a half to do the entire job. He measured and installed all the doors and panels the first day, cleaned up very nicely and came back on the following thursday to do the garage repair work. He is honest and I would use him again.

He is extremely reasonably priced and punctual. He also has a great disposition. He is just extremely good at what he does.
