They were great and fantastic. My experience with them was fantastic, it was perfect. They were very punctual and very customer friendly. They redid one set of blinds as we wanted something different. They were very accommodating.

The Window shades are exactly what I wanted in color and performance. the outdoor furniture is now refreshed with a new pattern and looks beautiful, also saved me money by utilizing the existing padding....perfect job!!!

This project required a lot of expertise I did not have about what works where, and Cory made it easy. Darkness in the bedroom was a big problem and Cory explained what needed to be built into the window solution to make it really dark. Other rooms needed filtered light or privacy some or all the time. She had a coordinating option for every problem. The finished items were installed expertly and on time. The installers showed me how to operate blinds, shades, and drapes, and offered support and a return visit if I need it.

We had a good experience. The owner made a price adjustment when she was unable to get the rod we chose.

This is a family owned company, and a very personalized, professional and efficiently run service. My blinds were ordered, with some helpful suggestions by the wife and daughter, delivered very promptly as promised, and are beautiful. I would recommend this company to anyone. They delivered as promised, the family is delightful, and they use excellent quality materials. I am thrilled with my new venetian wooden blinds. They fit my decor beautifully. I wanted to like working with this group and I expect that if we could have gotten over one basic but very important hurdle, they might have been able to deliver. I'll never know, because the stumbling block was their inability to keep their appointments with me. The first ?the introduction to me and our home?went off without a hitch, though we knew it would need to followed up with at least one other selection session. On the day of the scheduled second appointment and less than one hour before she was due here, Cory phoned to say, they were 'too jammed up' to come as planned. When she paused for my reaction, I told her, of course, that I had planned my day and week around this and that their not showing wasn't acceptable. Ultimately, they did manage to come a bit later and we proceeded with the selection/decision making process. At the end of the session, Cory mentioned that the company who would be applying the UV film to some windows worked independently and would decide for themselves whether they wished to work on the windows in our 100+year-old Craftsman home. That was information she should have provided BEFORE we had spent the time making selections, as this change would affect not only the respective windows themselves but would have a ripple effect on windows in adjoining rooms, etc. So not wanting to leave it to chance, I followed this session and the new info up with an email , suggesting we have a plan b, which I was working on ahead of the next and final meeting to incorporate all changes. The day and time of the final planning session came?and went. About 40 past the time with no phone call, I called them to find out where they were. The young woman who answered looked up the appointment and told me I had it wrong, that it was for a week out. I assured her that I had not made any mistake and reviewed in detail the phone call I'd had with Cory when we'd made the appointment. She promised to phone me back when she'd had a chance to speak with Cory. Ultimately, I got a phone call from Cory, who acknowledged that the appointment had indeed been scheduled for this day but that she had somehow written it in the wrong week. She apologized, saying missing several consecutive appointments had 'never happened before,' it was 'crazy that it had happened to [me] twice.' Then before I could respond, she blurted out something to the effect that, she thought I should just find someone else to do the work, that they didn't think they could serve me!" ??? So I had already come to that conclusion, but I found it off putting that a company would just throw in the towel like that. From past experience with other home improvement providers over the years, I would have expected the Jacobys to first see how they could make it right, not only because they valued my business but also because they wanted an opportunity to show me that their company really could deliver. That way they could at least leave the playing field with a kind of dignity, even if I as a client chose not to continue to work with them. But they just quit. I have since found an excellent drapery company (70 years in the business) with an actual store, designers and a small factory on site. I dropped in one afternoon, following the Jacoby experience, had a look around at the walls of fabric books, etc.; spoke with a designer and her assistant and made an appointment for the designer to come out to our home several days later. In one session with her (she showed up on time as planned with all the fabric samples and information I needed) we were able to make all decisions--despite the challenges of 'this old house.' Install will be in a couple of weeks! I think perhaps the issue with Jacoby might be that though this husband/wife/daughter business has a lot of combined experience in the industry, they might be newer at running and managing their own business. Besides knowing fabrics and install details, as critical as all that is, one must also be able to manage client load and schedules, because if a business can't do that consistently?if they can't at least show up?they will lose both clients and reputation. I wish Jacoby all the best and trust that in time they will learn to manage all aspects of what could be a very good business.

I moved into a new house and because of the Angie's list reviews called Jacoby and Company. They were incredibly helpful on the phone and I made an appointment to have someone come out. Bree Jacoby came out with samples and was able to provide some perfect ones for my modern house. She took preliminary measurements and took a deposit and placed the order. Her father came back a few weeks later to take very detailed measurements and brought another employee who came and did window film on several windows for privacy and heat and light protection. A few weeks later Mr. Jacoby came and installed my drapes. They look absolutely beautiful and move on the track like a dream. He said I needed to have them hang for 3 weeks as the weight of the fabric stretches the fabric slightly and that they may need to make adjustments on the hems. One set of curtains does need the adjustment and they are coming tomorrow to pick them up and shorten them free of charge. Jacoby and Company are professional, nice, helpful, and experts on what they do They are not inexpensive but their customer service and quality of materials are absolutely stunning and I would use them again without question. Everyone that comes into my house comments on the gorgeous drapes.

My drapes and window coverings arrived when promised. The installation went perfectly. The change in the rooms was breathtaking. I am very pleased with my experience with Jacoby.

I would highly recommend the Jacoby Co. They were so great to work with and very honest and passionate about their work. Bree was friendly and helpful, giving great recommendations for our condo and Gary was really an expert, efficient in his work. Great family business and we're very satisfied with their service!

Prompt and efficient service, great design, and very professional and clean installation.

Greg installed the shades 3 weeks later. Bree had measured perfectly so installation was not a problem. The color that she advised me to choose was perfect also. The shades look beautiful but more importantly, they block the sun. I would recommend Jacoby Company and will use them again if needed. I love that this company is a father, mother, daughter team. It was a great experience.

Except for one hiccup in scheduling installation, it was great. They were responsive and helped me with many decisions. We are truly enjoying our new window treatments.

Scheduling was fast and easy. Outstanding customer service. The measuring was done perfectly. Installation was done professionally. I highly recommend the Jacoby Family business and will definitely use again for future projects.

The Jacoby Crew has now completed the second big job at our editing facility in Santa Monica.. They do great work.. When we host clients here, every part of our office represents who we are.. I always know that Jacoby will do a perfect job.. Top notch company!

I think they are a wonderful company. Cory came and helped me chose what I needed, and in my price range. She was very helpful. I was a bit worried about calling them, because it is obvious they do some very high end jobs, and ours is more mid/low range. She never made me feel uncomfortable, nor did I feel pressure to spend more. They were very professional! I made a mistake and they were not able to get into the house when they came to install, and they were very understanding and fit me in at a new time without problems. I have a couple more rooms that will be getting new window treatments in a few months. I plan to use them again.

Cory came to my house and in a few minutes had measured my balcony sliding door for a new sheer curtain and outer drape. She suggested some fabrics and together we selected the ones for me. A few weeks later, Gary brought the new drape & curtain and installed them. They are attractive and look just like I wanted them to. Further, the opening and closing with batons is much easier than the former pull cords.

The service provided to me by Jacoby Company, Inc was top notch. They were very flexible with me and were able to come to my house and provide me with a quote the same day I called. From there everything thing Bree said, happened like clockwork. She said she would be back that weekend with her father to measure (It's a family run business), and she was, they showed up right on time. From there, they said it would take 2 weeks for the shades to be made and they would come install them. They delivered on time. Everything was as they said it would be. Their rates are a bit steep, but after some of the experiences I had had renovating my home with other service providers I was over trying to get the best price, and just wanted quality service which is exactly what you can expect from them. During the interim while I was waiting for my shades, they provided me with temporaries for the whole house. I really appreciated their consideration for my time and privacy. Well worth it, I will certainly use them again!

Jacoby Company provided excellent service and installation of my custom shutters for my condo windows and french doors. Cory came for a consultation session to review the windows and talk about what I wanted. She then provided an estimate. There was no pressure to commit to the job and she was available by cell and email to answer my follow up questions before I decided to go with Jacoby Company. She then returned with an Installer to go over the exact measurements and any additional questions. The shutters were ready about two weeks later. Two installers came and expertly installed the shutters. They took their time to make sure the shutters were installed with care and attention. Overall I was very happy with my experience with Jacoby Company and I would highly recommend their services.

This is a great family-run company to work with. From the first scheduling call, to the design consultation, and to the final installation, everyone was very friendly, responsive, and professional. Thanks for helping to put the final touches on our new house and making it feel like a home.

Lovely! The shutters are gorgeous, my husband is thrilled about how nice and cool and dark his office is and Bree Jacoby was a delight to work with. I'm planning to use them to redo the window treatments all over my house!

Working with Jacoby was AWESOME! They are a family owned and run company, and each of them could not be nicer. Aside from being nice, they really pointed us in the right direction. We knew we needed window treatments but had no idea what we wanted. Cory and Gary came by for the consultation and a) were hilarious and friendly and honest and b) were professional and immensely helpful. They guided us in the direction of doing mostly grass blinds throughout the house, and in the downstairs main room they suggested the perfect fabric to line the blinds so they have a nice finished look. We also had a weird kitchen window where above the sink the windows are set so deep you can't reach the blinds to open and close, so we always left them in the closed position for privacy. Cory and Gary came up with the solution to do a top - down blind that we keep open on the top half of the window, so we still get privacy at the street level but also now get TONS of sun which has transformed the area. The biggest wow factor for me, however, was in the master bedroom. We had two french doors and one long, narrow window above the bed. Again, we kept that blind closed for privacy, but they suggested plantation shutters. Normally not something I would have thought of in a million years and WE LOVE IT. We get tons more light and they look amazing. Cory has an incredible designer's eye and really helped us go from "We have no idea what we want or need" to "I can't imagine my home without this!" They were prompt, courteous and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!

Everything went well. The measuring of the windows was done quickly. The length of time until installation was correctly estimated. The installation was quick, quiet and neat. The personnel all were professional, quiet and courteous. The shutters are of good quality. They look better than I had imagined.

I can sum up the job in one word: Perfection! In addition I had also requested to have new foam rubber for a chair seat cushion. It was done at no extra charge. These are people who definitely want and deserve your business. Thank you all at Jacoby.
