As an architect I expect a high level of professionalism and design aesthetics and Jacoby Company certainly delivered on this. It was a pleasure to work with Cory and Gary (owners). I highly recommend them.

I have a history with Jacoby and Company over the past five years. They put in shutters for one of my rooms and subsequently designed all the windows in my house. They are a family business, showcasing the epitome of style, quality, and excellent customer service; a rare commodity in today's world. Corey, the main interior designer, interprets one's personal style with her vast experience and access to materials. Gary is in charge of installations and makes sure everything is perfect. Their prices are competitive if not low for caliber of their materials. I can't speak enough about this company. I encourage anyone looking for window treatments to search no more; call Jacob and Co!

Overall, it went very well. The staff we worked with could not have been friendlier, more professional, or more responsive to our needs. When there was a problem with one of the shutters, they quickly fixed the problem with no questions and at no cost. Everything turned out perfect.

Cory came over to our 100+ year old house for consultation. Initially, we planned on window treatments for the living and dining rooms only and were going to DIY for the rest of our home. But when we saw how great her ideas were, we showed her our entire space and decided to install treatments for our entire home. Cory isn't just a salesperson. She is a designer, an imagineer, and highly dedicated to doing what is right for her clients. She lives and breathes what she does. We decided on curtains for our living and dining rooms, custom louvered shutters to enclose a large laundry space, window-mounted wood blinds on our 100 year old windows, a custom door for an awkward closet space, and blackout shades to match the framing and color of 2 bedrooms. She helped us to find the right hardware for our shutters, too. All of her ideas were spot on. Initially, we selected some fabric for our curtains that turned out to be very pricey, but she worked with us to find something less expensive that turned out beautiful. In all, she and her husband came out to our house 3 times before we signed a contract! We met with another highly rated company on AL but the owner had no ideas, insisted on using what was cheap, and was disorganized. Not sure how they have 200+ A reviews! We ultimately decided to go with Jacoby Co based on their ideas, their service, attention to detail, and reputation knowing that if something went wrong, they would make it right for our home. Price seemed a little high initially but totally justified in the end based on expertise, quality of product, and service. Cory and Gary's service is the standard that all other companies should be measured against. Even though we did have a hiccup with one of their subcontractors for one of our treatments (didn't arrive when supposed to), they were sincerely apologetic and I believe was truly not their fault. So even with this issue, they are still deserving of the highest rating here on AL. I don't believe we could have found another team that could have provided the same expertise, vision, and execution for our home.

Wow, what a great experience. Our house had no window coverings prior to calling Jacoby Company. Cory, with her great smile and pleasant attitude, arrived and immediately put us at ease with our large project. We were unsure of what to use for window treatments, drapes, shutters or blinds. Her experience and expert opinions made our decisions so much easier. Some of our windows face south and the sun creates too much heat in the summer. Cory and her husband Gary, came up with some great ideas and solved our concerns. The installers were top notch and we could not be happier.

Fabulous. So nice working with professionals. Cory helped us choose the right grass shades and fabric from samples she brought to our home. The work was done when promised and Gary installed them. I came home to a real surprise, walking in to my kitchen and loving them even more than I thought I would.

It went beautifully. We have used the Jacoby Company for over 20 years for all our our window coverings. Blinds, solar shades, draperies, etc. We have never been disappointed. They represent the best of local business. They are prompt, courteous, businesslike and professional. They know their stuff. Their prices are always competitive and they deliver what they promise!!

From the first phone call with Tricia, I felt that Jacoby was very willing to work with me on a short timeline. Cory returned my call immediately and came the next day for a consultation. She gave me a few options on 5-7 turnarounds (all very reasonably priced) but I ultimately decided on wood shutters. The manufacturer agreed to come the same afternoon to do measurements, and after some discussions, we all agreed it would be best to install after our return home and place temporary shades on the windows for our guests. Cory actually drove to Bed, Beth & Beyond to get the shades and then she put them up for me. Phenomenal customer service! Cory was so knowledgeable and offered very good input. I couldn't be more pleased with my shutters. I'll definitely use Jacoby again and I'm so thankful to Angie's list reviewers for directed me to this fabulous family company.

I have nothing but great things to say about Jacoby Company. We wanted plantation shutters and Cory and her team gave us the exact look we wanted and the installers couldn't have been more professional. They also reupholstered two antique cane chairs that now look wonderful. The time from our initial meeting to the shutter installation was approximately 3 weeks, the upholstery took about 2 weeks. Their work has changed the appearance of our home, both interior and exterior and I would certainly recommend them.

I highly recommend Jacoby Company who is looking for a window treatment company that truly cares about their customers! Among the various companies that I contacted, Jacoby was the first to reply back and gave me a few detailed options for situation. I am a college student with a budget and looking to find something that would best block the sun since my bed is by the window. After receiving email of options from Cory, the CEO and leading designer, she immediately called me personally the next morning to see if I have questions. We had a quick talk through the phone and she then gave me the best option for my situation and took into account of my sleeping issue. When she came to do the measurements, she talk to me as if I were her daughter. None of the other companies considered my sleep. The other companies only gave me prices and options. Some did not even come to take accurate measurements. Soonly, my window treatment was done and sleep very well everyday. CHOOSE JACOBY! Cory is the most amazing person and designer that you can ever meet. She not only designs, but most importantly takes into account your personal concerns and truly CARES about YOU.

We couldn't be happier with Jacoby Company. Cory was a pleasure to work with, and had great suggestions for us. The work was done in a very timely manner, however, our painters were still completing their work, not a problem, the shutters were held until we were ready. They were installed today, by a very pleasant and professional installer.

Cory Jacoby was brilliant! I called with very little time to get shutters and blinds installed before a family visit. She came out the next day, arrived exactly as the time we had set, professional, gave me the best color tips and before I knew it someone showed up to measure and within the week, installers arrived. It was the most wonderful experience I've had on Angie's List. We are now planning on using them again to repaint our old plantation shutters. We also will be using them again for the many other things that they do. The price was excellent, the product top of the line, and the workers were quick and did a perfect job. I would tell you to not look further if you need window treatments for your home or office or any of the many other jobs they do. What a great find! Family owned and run they take real pride in the best job possible and it shows. Please look at all the other services that they provide to make your life easier. Every time we walk into our TV room we look at the beautiful plantation shutters that Jody suggested and say, this makes a ho hum room sing.

It went very well. The job was done three years ago, and the shutters are high quality and look as good as they did when they were installed. The roller shade had small problems two different times over the three year period, and they were out here very quickly to diagnose and fix the problem. They made repairs free of charge. We have been totally satisfied with the product, installation and follow through when a couple of small problems developed even after two and a half years. Plus the Jacobys are very nice people.

We have had an ongoing relationship that goes back more than 10 years with Jacoby Company. They are beyond professional from the first phone call to Trish in the office, to wife Cory's in-home design consultation to husband Gary's installation! We started using Jacoby company personally when we purchased a home in La Quinta, CA. After a trip to the desert with suggestions for woven blinds, some being black out shades and padded wall treatment in the powder bath we soon learned what a great company they are. We are in the home lighting and accessory business and since that time we started referring them to our clients when asked for window treatments. I have been thanked many times for recommending them. Recently we re-did some window treatments in our Woodland Hills home and the service has been spot-on and the pricing is exceptional. If you compare apples to apples and not oranges their pricing without sacrificing service is awesome, awesome, awesome!

I recently purchased my first home with my husband and we were in desperate need of custom drapery. I found Jacoby Company online and gave them a call! And boy am I glad I did. Cory and Gary were so professional, worked within my budget and helped guide me as to what would look best in our new home. They made the process so easy and I could not be more please with my drapes! She was so kind enough as to help me with my bedding as well as gave me some tips on how to make my room look like a magazine!! I would definitely recommend them to all of my friends and family. And I can't wait to use Jacoby Company again when the time comes.

It went great! The owners are very thorough and precise, along with being very helpful and on top of that, extremely nice. They are very pleasant to work with (this is our third set of window coverings with Jacoby). Gary is on time, cleans up after the installation and shows you the specifics of how each unit works.

Phenomenal work... I hired the Jacoby Company for my new condo. As a first time home buyer, I literally didn't even think of window treatments or how complicated the process could be. My place is a three bedroom with REALLY high ceilings which made it even more difficult. While Gary worked on the measurements, Cory spent the time conceptualizing design options and the flow of each room. Literally, over my head, I just cared about my new place looking good and price. *I made it very clear a specific budget that I felt comfortable in, and Cory was great outlining the various options.* I literally spent a week or two working on pricing with multiple vendors and the Jacoby's prices checked out. The Jacoby Company weren't the cheapest, but Cory worked with me on price points while the most knowledgeable about my taste on interior style / design. The installation went smooth, the rooms look flawless, and Gary went above and beyond with his service. Not only did the Jacoby Company install all three bedrooms, Gary spent 30 min with me setting up my "nest", which was a moving gift from friend. He even got on the phone with the air conditioning company. Total class act and not something that most companies would have dealt with.

quite well. there was one hitch in that the cord Gary originally brought was thinner than the original cord on my blinds, which meant the cord-lock would not hold and the blinds would not stay up. Gary and Trish managed to find a vendor w/ thicker cord, and Gary came back to re-string the blinds (for a second time) - so far, so good. I would absolutely recommend Jacoby Company Inc.
