Excellent. The company is a husband and wife team, so the quality control is outstanding. They oversee every aspect from start to finish. At one point, it was discovered that the fabric chosen might not fit the window and Cory (the wife) came all the way back to our home to remeasure, just as a precaution. We waited approximately 3 weeks for the shades to be ready and Gary (the husband), installed all of them himself, again speaking to the quality control. The shades are all guaranteed and they will come adjust or repair them, if necessary. Although, they are not the cheapest, they are very fairly priced and the desing and installation was outstanding. I would highly recommend this company.

Cory arrived promptly to recommend window treatments for a newly renovated condo. Her taste level is impeccable and she "got" right away what was needed to achieve the look we were aiming for at the most practical price. She had swatches with her and took measurements. Gary came out to install the shades when they were ready and did an efficient and thorough job. The shades provide privacy and practicality and look great. This lovely family runs a tight ship. They really know what they are doing and couldn't be nicer. Highly recommended.

I contacted Cory the day I found her company's information on Angie's List. She responded promptly and was able to schedule a home appointment the following day. She measured the windows in my home office and closet and provided me with various options for roller shades. I decided on the old fashioned spring type of shade. She ordered them from the manufacturer and told me it would take approximately 3 weeks for the shades to be made. To my surprise about 2 weeks after the order she called to schedule the installation. Her husband Gary came yesterday to remove my old cafe curtains and install the roller shades. He was on time, neat, nice and very professional. I will be using them again when I get blinds for the guest room and dining room.

My entire experience with this company went very smoothly. From the initial phone call, to the visit, to install all went stress free. It was so refreshing to see that Cory (wife and designer) and Bree (daughter in training) listened to our needs and came up with what would best fit our lifestyle and home without up selling us. Gary (installer and owner) was very pleasant to have in our home and was very conscientious and professional. What a wonderful family and so easy to conduct business with! Would definitely use their service in the future!

After a challenging experience with my general contractor, Cory arrived like a breath of fresh air. She was wonderful to work with. She had great ideas and made it effortless. A few weeks later, Gary came to install all the shades. He was just as pleasant and professional. I couldn't be happier and I would highly recommend them.

Scheduling an appointment with Cory for a design consultation was quick and easy. She was punctual and a pleasure to work with. She gave us a few options and we eventually settled on shutters for the windows. Fabrication and installation was very quick (under two weeks). They were also happy to use the paint we provided (No VOC's and baby safe) so it would match the rest of the trim. The installation was quick and professional and we couldn't more happy with the results. We are also pleasantly surpised with how well the shutters black out the room although that was not a priority for us. Cory called shortly after the installation to make sure we were happy with the results. I highly recommend Cory and Jacoby Company. Great to work with and they deliver as promised.

Short of washing the window to be covered and bringing lunch, there wasn't much to be asked for! Personable / professional / prompt. There are more projects here for them ahead :)

After all the coverings arrived from the manufacturers, Gary showed up at our scheduled time for the install and that was the most pleasant experience; having my windows which had no coverings on them now completely transformed. There was one small glitch which was the manufacturers fault; they mistakenly cut and sent my two living room shades too narrow. Immediately, Gary spoke to Bree who spoke to the manufacturer. The manufacturer put it on absolute top priority in manufacturing and shipping and I have my final coverings the following week. To me that was a testament to Jacoby's commitment to customer satisfaction and to their excellent relationship with their suppliers. I am absolutely 100% satisfied and couldn't recommend them higher. Do's and don'ts: I had thought on a couple of shades that I didn't want a cord; rather just a pull tab as I thought it'd be more contemporary. Gary suggested a looped cord on three of my shades and I am so glad I listened and went that way. Much easier to work and the cord isn't a visual intrusion at all, it blends in. Both Gary and Cory made some excellent suggestions both from a fit/look perspective but also regarding the function of the coverings. So, I'd suggest "do" listen to their suggestions.

Jacoby was wonderful to work with. They were honest, punctual, and a pleasure to do business with. Neither husband or wife was hesitant to give me their honest opinion, and in this business, honesty and quality are extremely important. The installation was efficient and the shutters look amazing! Also, the finished look of the blinds in the duplex was just what I was hoping to achieve. I enjoyed working with the husband and wife duo of Jacoby Company and look forward to doing so again in the future.

Corey came out to see what I was looking for and she was amazing. She made me feel totally comfortable and understood completely what I wanted. I needed to match some old school shutters- circa 1975 that very few people do anymore. After taking measurements, we discussed price and I told her I would be getting other bids. I interviewed 2 other companies and after comparing prices and my comfort level, I went with Jacoby. All estimates were within about $100 of each other so it was the confidence I felt with Corey that made the choice so easy. A few days after our meeting, someone came out to take final measurements and I gave her a deposit. A few weeks later, the shutters were installed and I was blown away! They were so much better than I had even hoped they would be. The man who did the install was fantastic. He arrived on time with a smile and worked really hard. This was a big job. They matched the paint perfectly and the fit is fantastic. I could not be more pleased and cannot wait to use them again in the future. A wonderful experience. Of the seven or more contractors I have so far dealt with for my new home, dealing with the Jacoby Company was by far the most pleasant experience. Cory arrived and asked about ME and what I wanted. Since I am a first time home buyer (and a dude) I was pretty clueless about what would be best for my home. Cory gave me invaluable advice, and since she knew I had limited funds, she suggested there was one window I could take care of on my own to save some money, which I did. Cory gave me a good price, and I can say that, rather than a company selling me a service, it felt like a friend coming to visit to help me solve a problem. The installation was pushed back twice, which was a minor inconvenience, but Gary was just as kind and professional as Cory and installed the blinds with no problems. I would use the Jacoby Company again in a heart beat. I look forward to having them do the rest of my windows next year. Thank you, Cory and Gary!

The service, from both Cory and Gary, was stellar. Tricia, their secretary, was also professional and helpful, sending me reminders for the appointments and tracking down Cory and Gary when I needed to reach them. Cory and Gary are also very available by their own cell phone numbers. When Gary came to do the installation, I did not like the way the bar, along the bottom hem of the shade, was manufactured. It did not run from end to end, but left about one inch on either end without any support from the metal rod inside. It made the shades look poorly made. Gary did not blink an eye when I asked to have the shades sent back to the factory to remake the bar at the bottom, so that it will reach from one side edge to the other side edge. Gary wanted me to be very pleased. He was pleasant the entire time. I am still waiting for the shades to be re-installed. I am sure it will all go according to plan.

A very positive experience overall. This was not a easy job as my place has many challenges. Jacoby Company is a truly Mom and Pop business with all the personal attention that you get with family. All the recommendations were thoughtful and responsive to my needs. They are very responsive and want to make me feel satisfied. I think the result was the product of professionals doing the best with what they had to work with and I think they added to my property value. I would not hesitate to recommend Jacoby Company to anyone.

Very well. We were pleased with the design process, the intuitive logic and aesthetic awareness of Cory Jacoby. Very energetic and is able to self critique and/or advise client how they might want to do things differently. Brought many samples for ideas discussed. Gary Jacoby can install anything, anywhere, anytime. Quiet, competent and does a great job of cleaning up. You won't know he is installing or after he leaves, except for the product left behind. I rated an A for everything and a B for price. No big deal, but would have liked to have seen a bit more factory or manufacturing discounts flow through. But let me reiterate that quality, responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism all outweighed everything else, and overall a strong A.

Cory came to my home and we discussed my various options. She listened to my ideas and of course, had a few of her own. She was so easy to work with! After I had decided which treatments I wanted, we went through numerous fabric books and found exactly what I was looking for -- and I was done! It was fast, easy and I am completely satisfied! Gary arrived next, doubled checked the measurements and my treatments were ordered. Approximately 2 weeks later, Gary was back and did the install. As I said before, I liked my oversized curtains so much, I ordered another set for an adjacent room! Both Cory and Gary are great people - it was a pleasure working with them - and I will definitely use them again!

Cory, Gary and Trish were really great to work with. Trish was cordial when I called to set up an appointment and was quick to respond. Cory first came out to show us some options and to give us some advice on which window treatments to choose. We were interested in woven woods and roller shades. Cory had many options for us to choose from and we were able to choose a color that complimented our wood floors. Once we placed the order, Gary was able to come out and take measurements so that we could order the custom window treatments. As soon as everything was in, Trish called to set up an installation appointment. Gary was very prompt and installed all of the treatments quickly and professionally. The entire experience was very pleasant. Gary and Cory were a pleasure to do business with. I have already recommended them to several colleagues and friends.

Cory & Gary had provided window treatments for every room of my old house that we absolutely loved!! When we moved, we were very disappointed we were going to have to leave all of our window treatments behind, but they were a big selling point with our old house. We were very happy when we were able to take two bedrooms of window treatments with us. Cory & Gary took down the window treatments from our old house, transported them and installed the window treatments in our new house, making any necessary adjustments. Cory & Gary provide excellent service and their product is so wonderful that I'll take my window treatments with me wherever I go!!!

Called them two weeks ago, Cory came out same day, measured, worked with my budget, helped me choose a fabric and color. Two weeks later, Gary came over and hung them - took him less than an hour. Drapes are perfect. Smooth and easy transaction. Highly recommend.

They are a great team and stand by their work. When the manufacturer sent the wrong sized shade, they did everything they could to resolve the situation and get the right shades in. I highly recommend them for their design, installation and professionalism.

Gary knew just how to handle this difficult installation. He was prompt, knowledgable, reasonable and extremely personable...a pleasurable overall experience. He is going to be making and installing window coverings for 2 other rooms for us as well. I have used several other companies through the years but Gary has my highest recommendation. You won't be disappointed.

No story, just excellent service!

It turned out really well. After they installed the curtains, there were a couple tiny spots left on the shears, and they came out and made sure to they got rid of them. The spots were from storage and they came out and cleaned off by hand and I thought it was very considerate.

Cory was extremely helpful in helping me select replacements but went above and beyond what I had asked. She helped me realize that the paint colors I had selected initially would not actually blend well with tile in the kitchen and bathroom. She urged and convinced me to take cell-phone photos and bring them to the paint store to get a better match than the ones I had selected. We discussed my color choices of both paint and blinds at length, and at no time did I feel rushed to make a decision. The resulting paint and blind colors are terrific match for my home. Moreover, she was absolutely right in her recommendations for the replacement of the Hunter Douglas Silhouette blinds, as well as the less expensive blinds for the bathroom and bedroom. Measurements were perfect and Gary Jacoby, who performed the installation was excellent and efficient, quick as well, in installing all blinds and shades. I had a minor problem with a cupboard door, which Gary helped me secure. They were both professional and sympathetic to my needs during a trying time. A family operation that met and exceeded all my expectations.
