If there were a way for me to give Cory, Gary and Bree an A++++ I would. The Jacoby's are consumate professionals as well as being very nice people. They really know their business and walked us through the multiple ways that we could "curtain" our home. They are 100% committed to their customer's satisfaction. If you want new curtains, I would recommend you call them!

It was a perfect experience from beginning to end. I love how my window and french door treatments turned out! Everything was quick, pain free and enjoyable! Expert advice and a good listening ear for my personal taste's and desires in both rooms. Lots of options, but I felt completely satisfied and safe letting Cory and her daughter Bree lead me to the best treatments as they genuinely cared and listened to what I wanted with regards to look and functionality. Gary, the husband and father, was the installer. The minute he stepped into my home, I was absolutely confident that the treatments would go up perfectly without a hitch and they did. It's truly a delight to work with this family and a relief knowing (from the moment you meet them) that it will all go smoothly. Their family business is a true find and treasure in this day! I plan on using them again and again in the future. Oh, and Tricia the office manager is a warm delight as well. :)

Called and scheduled appointment with Cory and Bree for picking fabric for Roman Shades and Roller Shades. I wanted the windows layered so the room would be dark since I live beside a lit walkway and the lights shine in at night. There would be 3 Roller Shades and 3 Roman Shades Ordered. (2 Small Average size windows and 1 Large Double Width Window) Cory and Bree were wonderful to work with and made the process very fun. They measured windows and picked out fabrics by matching my current comforters and wall comforter based on my style. I liked the first few fabrics we looked at and a decision was made. I put 50% down on the made to order blinds and roller shades. Approximately 5 to 6 weeks later Gary came to install. He was professional and had the roller shades and blinds up in a very short amount of time. He moved the chains and cords to make sure everything was working smoothly and easily. Took all extra boxes, old blinds etc away. He was great! The Roman Shades are gorgeous and they give the room a high end finish that I love when they are open or closed! The choices that were made were perfect with Cory and Bree's help. Most importantly the Room is completely dark at night with both the roller shades and Roman shades down. Thank you Cory, Bree and Gary for making my vision come true.

I wanted to put drapes in but Cory felt shades and cornice boxes would be much better to achieve what I was looking for which was an open, mid-century modern look. I'm really glad I went with her idea as it came out looking better than I had invisioned. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again!

They did a great job. Cori met us for an estimate and then later came back for the measurements so that the custom plantation shutters could be made. A few weeks later, they came out to do the installation, which went extremely quick. We love our new shutters and have nothing but good things to say about Jacoby. They were prompt, communicative, efficient, well priced, and did exactly what they said they would do. I would definitely recommend them to anyone thinking of getting new window treatments.

It?s rare to find such an outstanding family run business that can compete with price and quality with the big guys in Los Angeles. The fantastic Family Trio (Cory, Gary, Bree) have done wonders to update our home! We recently remodeled half of our home with new wood floors and paint. We were on the search for upgraded window treatments and went to Angie?s List. It was an easy quick search for us, since Jacoby Company was the #1 ranked for windows treatments. We called them up and talked with Bree and Cory over the phone. After our 20 minute conversation, I knew immediately these were the people to help us with our final touches. Bree and Cory came over for a free consultation and 90 minutes later we had the plan. My partner and I are not design experts and we needed some help and guidance. They replaced old shades and drapes in several rooms with new wood shutters and after based on their suggestions a new set of drapes across our French doors in the master bedroom. They also pointed out the extremely outdated closet doors in the master bedroom and suggested wood shutter doors as well for the closets. Our friends that walk into the room are SHOCKED at the makeover! We also had on our ?list? of things to refinish, a little fabric reading chair that has been in our family for several generations. They were quickly able to find complementary fabrics that matched the room and we are excited with the makeover of this little chair. We love that this is a family run business with husband, wife and daughter. There are MANY big name companies that compete in this business, but we feel the smaller family run business can spend the extra time and attention to detail that larger companies simply lack. Jacoby is not about profits, but about making the client happy, since happy clients give the referrals and repeat business. We LOVE that they take such pride in their workmanship and attention to quality. Gary actually does the installation of the drapes himself. Our boy?s grandmother was HIGHLY impressed with the quality and taste of the upgrades and the makeover of the family chair. We had such a strong connection with Jacoby Co that we can?t wait to invite them over for our next dinner party and introduce them to several future referrals. Our kitchen is next to be remodeled and they are first on our list for the window treatments and to provide some design input on the overall plan. Jacoby Company is the best! We bought a house with floor to ceiling windows in nearly every room. When we were in escrow, the house was vacant and the windows were bare. We knew, for safety, we needed to cover those windows fast! Jacoby Company got right on it. Cory helped us choose fabrics and the day after we took possession of the house, our custom wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling curtains were up! When one of the curtains was "sticking" on the rod, Gary came out as many times as we needed in order to make it right. We love our curtains. Thanks, Jacoby Company!

I can't speak highly enough about this company! Cory, Bree, and Gary are beyond amazing. My husband and I hired them to install shutters, drapes and roman shades in our new home. We are halfway through the process right now, but what has been done so far is absolutely amazing. Cory has gone above and beyond to not only help pick out the most gorgeous window treatments, but she has been like my own interior designer, offering me great ideas when I have been in a decorating slump! Cory is great at looking at a house, taking in account your taste, and picking out the perfect window treatments to complete your home. Cory, Bree and Gary are a joy to be around. Gary arrived on time and immediately went to work. I was gone but my wife was home. She said Gary was not only a very nice man, but he did the work in a timely and professional manner. We had our living room and dining room repainted, but it was the draperies and valances that really made these rooms look fantastic. We had previously contacted the guy who originally installed these draperies etc. and he wanted to charge us $1000.00 to do this job.!That's when we went to Angie's List, which we have used numerous times, and based on the reviews, we called the Jacoby Company. Everyone I spoke to was extremely nice and they made a special arrangement to get this job done today, otherwise it would have been two weeks before they could schedule us in. We are extremely pleased with this company and more than happy with the price they charged ($300.00 vs $1,000.00). We are going to redo my home office in the near future and you can bet we are going to use this company to do the new draperies and whatever else we need done that they recommend. I highly recommend this company and not only will we use them in the future, but I am going to tell all our friends if they need this kind of work done to use the Jacoby Company. We also love the idea of this being a family owned and operated company. We have used Angie's List many. many times and have generally been happy with the companies we have hired to do various jobs for us. But I must say, that of all the companies we have hired the Jacoby Company was by far the best (and nicest) people we have ever hired to do a job. We have rarely been as pleased with a company as we are with the Jacoby Company. Trust me, if you hire them you will definitely be happy you did.

Everything couldn't have been better. The team was terrific to work with. They were on time, creative, polite professional and very helpful.

Very punctual and responsible about replying. Price was considerably higher than elsewhere for what I needed, simple 2 inch wooden blinds with measuring and installation, but don't know if product like for like. |

I am a designer. They did window treatments for a couple of projects of mine. They did a great job. Their pricing was moderate, it's not the cheapest. but they are not the most expensive. The final product is beautiful. They are a family owned company, a husband and wife. They are easy to get hold of and get things worked out. You don't have to go through a big company where nobody knows what you are talking about. They do great work. They did the first job for me back in the fall of 2013 and are working on a big project for me now.

The entire team at Jacoby Company was so wonderful to work with. My client is thrilled with her drapes, and I am happy to have Jacoby Company on my list of preferred vendors. I will most definitely call on them for future clients!

This is the second home in which we've asked Cory and Gary Jacoby to do our window treatments. In our first home in Pasadena (see our previous review, some time back), they created and installed the most magnificent heavy linen draperies over stunning modern sheer Romans, plus delicate linen-y looking woven blinds over other windows throughout. The window treatments were SO gorgeous, in fact, that when we sold the house, we stipulated that the window treatments were NOT staying in the home, but were coming with us. Of course, our real estate agents played games with our sale and secretly promised the buyer that we would sell the house with the window treatments left in. (The buyer was dying for them.) Well, to make a long story short, this was the only time in my life I ever lost my cool and threatened a lawsuit--over my Jacoby drapes! In the end we did NOT get to take our window treatments with us, our dastardly real estate agents had to "eat" the financial loss, we moved on to a new home in San Diego, and I cried for many nights about the sacrifice of my lovely custom blinds and draperies. Yet, Cory and Gary came to the rescue again! San Diego isn't even in their standard service area but they came all the way down (a minimum of 3 hours each way, mind you), helped us choose a new set of fabulous-looking window treatments, had them whipped up for us, and then came BACK down and installed them all (perfectly, of course). Is there ANYONE else in Southern California who would provide this kind of service (and who has this high a taste level)? As always, our end result is stunning blinds--elegant sheer-looking wovens that beautifully set off our mid-century and transitional decor. Gary even spent hours placing cord cleats precisely where I wanted them, and fixing cord lengths to our precise needs (we have little kids running about on weekends). So, this is indeed a long story, but it is now a very happy one! If this website will allow me to embed a photo or two, I will do so, but the cell-phone shots just can't do these impeccably made window treatments justice. Thank you, again, dear Cory and Gary! There is simply nothing these two remodeling wizards can't do.

WE ARE DISAPPOINTED WITH THE FOLLOW-UP. THEY DID NOT INSTALL A GUIDE ON THE FLOOR OF OUR SLIDING DOOR SHUTTERS. WITHOUT THE GUIDE, THE SHUTTERS FLIPPED-FLOPPED WHEN OPENED. ALSO, WE ASKED FOR A SIMPLE CUT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HORIZONTAL BAR IN ORDER TO OPEN EITHER THE TOP HALF OF THE SHUTTERS OR THE BOTTOM HALF OF TRHE SHUTTERS. THE COMPANY CHECKED WITH THEIR SUPPLIER AND WE WERE TOLD THAT THE JOB WOULD TAKE UP TO 5 HOURS AND WOULD COST $325.00. JACOBY COMPANY SAID THAT THEY WOULD NOT MAKE ANY PROFIT FROM THAT ADDED COST. WE DECIDED NOT TO HAVE THEM DO THE JOB. WE USED ANOTHER PROFESSIONAL, WHO CHARGED US MUCH, MUCH LESS AND THE WORK TOOK LESS THAN AN HOUR TO COMPLETE.

Wonderful -- professional, creative, responsive and top quality. We are thrilled both with the result and the process. Will use Jacoby again for all of our window needs.

The short and fast of it; Excellent experience! I have been in the design business for many years and have worked with many window covering contractors in NYC, San Francisco, and now in L.A. Cory, Gary, and Bree stepped up and we pulled together window coverings and matching bedding for our personal 1500 sq. foot house. Their combined experience and savvy know-how (to help us save some money as I am decorating another house in Palm Springs as well) , and their impressive responsiveness and service are first rate. To rave would be superfluous. Hire them. You will be thrilled with the results. We are. And, we intend to work with them at our new house in Palm Springs.

The were a joy to work with. Cory did the planning and design with me. Her husband did the installation. I am very happy with their work. There was one issue with the chains that raise and lower the blinds which we noticed upon his arrival on installation day. He was able to complete the installation but needed to upgrade some parts to finalize the job. He was back within 48 hours with the replacement parts and finalized the installation. He made certain we understood that if there were any others issues he would return to ensure our satisfaction. I don't mind when things aren't perfect because life is not that way. Knowing that it will be made right in a timely manner without reservation is the true test of excellent customer service and The Jacoby Co. passed the test with flying colors.

I was very pleased with Jacoby's service and would definitely use them again. I got 3 estimates from Angie lists to do the work. It was interesting because one wanted to mount the shutters outside my window frame, one inside the window frame and one on the window frame. I had no idea what to do. I was very nervous about picking one. Jacoby was the one that mounted them on the widow frame. I talked with Cory and she gave me the confidence that it would look good. And it does. Looks better than good. The quality is very good. The installation was excellent and it's just what my house needed. They also suggested doing a bull nose on the bottom of the shutter which matched my window frames and looks great. Cory also suggested that for the bedroom the shutters be half and half so I could open either the bottom or the top separately. I never thought of that. Again I love them and they look great. My kitchen window was another spot I had no idea what to do with. Cory had another great suggestion and I'm very happy with it. That's what was so nice, is that Jocaby knows decorating and didn't just come out and estimate the shutters without looking at the rest of the house. They were the only ones that did that. The other 2 estimates were a little less but I feel I got good quality for the cost. They even gave me ideas of what paint color to use for the kitchen and dining rooms. I just purchased a condo and moved in about a 5 months ago. I have had a hard time trying to decide what paint color to pick for each room and I didn't have any window coverings. I was asking around to all my friends about who they would suggest I talk to about window treatments and I got a few suggestions to contact Jacoby Company. But of course, I did my research and came to find out Jacoby Company was voted Best of Houzz three years in a row, highly recommended on Yelp and they're number 1 on Angie's List. Inevitably, I knew Jacoby was the right company to call. I called right after doing my research and spoke to Bree who I came to find out is the daughter of Cory & Gary Jacoby. How cute! A true small family owned business still exists today. I felt pretty lucky to find them. Cory came out two days later with Bree and they both went over my needs and wants. Cory also told me that she has a paint consulting service where she charges $375 an hour to come up with each rooms color design plan. I signed up for that immediately! I didn't want to hire an interior decorator but Cory was the closest thing to that without a hefty fee. Cory picked the perfect paint colors for my walls, ceilings and moldings. I even have accent walls now...who would have thought! She then went over each window treatment plan for all my rooms ( a total of 4 rooms). In my Kitchen, Cory & Bree decided plantation shutters would look the best. They were right! I love my shutters. The quality of the shutters are impeccable. I have gone into Home Depot to just see what they sell and nothing compares to the quality of Jacoby Company shutters. I also really appreciate the fact that Jacoby shutters are made in Los Angeles and the wood is from the Mid West. Finally, I found a company that supports local manufacturing.. being that I am a local jewelry manufacture myself. In my Master Bedroom and Living Room, we decided to do drapery. In the Master, Cory designed gorgeous blackout drapery with a sheer and in the Living Room we did a sheer drapery. Being that my windows are very high, drapery was the exact thing the condo needed. Drapery makes the place look larger and complete. In the Guest Bedroom, we picked wood blinds. I didn't need that room to be a focal point and didn't want to spend the extra amount for drapery. The wood blinds look perfect. Overall, I am extremely happy about how my condo looks now. To top it all off, I never had to worry about the installation. You know with most companies that is something to be concerned with. I care about craftsmanship and with Jacoby Company, Gary the owner is the one who installs. Except for my shutters which was done by the craftsman himself, Gary did the rest. He was on time, extremely nice, professional and he cleaned up after himself. This is so rare to find in a installer! Jacoby Company was fantastic and went above and beyond to make me a happy customer. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend their services to anyone in need to paint consulting and window treatments. I will make sure to keep referring you guys. Thank you for making my condo feel so special. Overall, the experience was exceptionally gratifying. It started with the fact that every member of the Jacoby Co. team showed up on time (as in 9 am, not 9 to 1), and they worked around my schedule. To me, that is a sign of true professionalism. The shutters were exactly what I wanted and fit perfectly. The price was very reasonable, and the workmen who installed the shutters were extremely polite and efficient, and they took care not to leave a mess. In this day, it is truly rare to find a company that provides a quality product and exemplary customer service. Jacoby Co. is that rare company. I already have recommended them to two of my neighbors. Bree Jacoby, particularly, should be singled out. She proactively managed both jobs and followed up to make sure everything was done right. She could give seminars in good customer service.
