Description of Work: The overall presentation was fine. The 2-person team that came out to quote were friendly and knowledgable. The number they gave me was comparable. So why the “F” grade you may ask? It is because the extremely shady pressure sales tactics they used at the end. 1) offering a discount if I committed TODAY - I told them I was waiting for extra quotes, I needed to do my homework. Yet they continued to push and push. EVERY other company offered to honor a discounted price from 1-week to even 3 months! 2) they kept asking if my spouse could join the presentation, but I was the primary decision maker. Apparently that wasn’t enough. 3) they tried to make me feel guilty that their staff is sitting around waiting for window installation jobs when they’ve had to pay upfront for the windows and won’t get paid until the job is done. Not my responsibility if they can’t manage their finances better! 4) they tried to use the bulk/volume discount ruse. If these are custom windows, why are they bought in bulk??? 5) the owner got on the phone and was condescending and questioned why I was getting so many quotes. Which is truly none of his business. And in the end I told them their sales tactic were not appreciated and I was not happy. Prior I even told them I had wanted my house painted and asked for a quote. They couldn’t do it at this same appointment apparently and told me I had to make another appointment for that job quote. I’m not wasting my time for more shady sales tactics.

+ 0 moreTerrific! We had sat with reps from Home2Renovate, discussed all possibilities to repair/replace needed areas and this company made it happen. Two previous contractors worked on the sunroom, adding 'bandaids' to fix the problem - a leaking roof - but never fixed the problem. H2R showed us what was done wrong by these other two contractors and resolved the issue with the leaking sunroom. Further inspection of the house roof showed deterioration of the roof (twelve years old) and we hired H2R to strip the old shingles and underlayment and replaced with new materials. No problems since and we've had rain here in Harbor City many times since the repair and replacement. We would highly recommend this company to anyone in need of any roofing issues. PROFESSIONAL and COURTEOUS!

+ 1 moreExcellent installation. Manufacturer inadvertently provided one panel out of a large number that was 1/2 " too wide. Problem immediately recognized. If you are going to have installed sliding glass doors from a modern automated manufacturer, I highly recommend these folk as the installers. They are organized. Their staff is courteous. They are professional. And they work closely with their manufacturer.

+ -1 moreExcellent job. Joey Wafer came to my house and we went over what I wanted done, and he gave me a clear picture of their company and their preferred vendor for replacement windows. I took about 1 week to look at other company's and other products, settled on Home 2 Renovate. The windows openings where measured, the windows built and delivered on time. The installation crew headed Han was fantastic. They showed up right on schedule and the job was completed within about 2 hours. All very professional and a very nice product. Very happy with job, product and over all price.

+ -1 moreYou really don't need to look further than H2R for windows. They gave me a thorough and informative presentation and I learned a lot about windows. This helped me make an informed choice and to appreciate the design and ideas that Alex and Omar created for me. These guys are very talented and I can imagine that the housing industry has taken notice. For me as a single person without a lot of experience in home rennovation they were the very best choice. They are professional, courteus, knowledgeable, responsive and honest. The quality of the products they use and the workmanship are first rate and the results are fantastic. I was able to replace three very large sliding glass doors, (one with a pet door), install a bay window in the kitchen and replace windows in the bedroom and bathroom. I really couldn't be happier.

We’re new home owners and it’s scary trusting anyone to do anything on a home. But god truly blessed us with Home 2 renovate, on site there so pleasant and professional. They left not one trace of any work performed at my home. On top of that they came back two days in a row to check on the work and to make sure we had no questions or worries. Simple and sweet and to the point. We recommend them highly.

+ -1 moreAs a new homeowner, I was at first concerned about hiring contractors for home improvements for my condo. Being a realtor myself, I'd heard some horror stories. However, this is why referrals are so very important; for my second window quote I was put in touch with Alex at Home 2 Renovate. From the original handshake, the thorough quotation and the hierarchy at the company providing samples to my HOA (for their approval) to the installation of the windows and sliding door, it was painless and stress-free for myself. The install itself was an eye opener; the guys worked fast & efficiently, and really knew what they were doing, even on my second story windows. Living close to Sunset Blvd, the first major benefit I noticed was the significant sound difference compared to my old windows, its simply amazing! They look great, I'm over the moon. In my line of work, I won't hesitate to recommend Alex and the team. Look forward to working with you more in the future, thanks guys!

+ 0 moreThe Kynar Heat-Reflective system really works. The last week has been really hot, especially yesterday, 93 degrees. We didn't have to use our air conditioning because it was cool inside our house, and we used only fans. We will be saving on Electric costs because of the CoolWall system. We had a crack on exterior wall. The crack was opened up and they found that it was already leaking. It was repaired and we cannot identify where crack was located. The work was completed in 4-1/2 days. They started on time and job was completed earlier than expected. The whole team at Home2Renovate were very professional, caring and genuine outstanding people. We would hire them again and have already told our family and friends of this outstanding family owned company.
