+ -1 moreIf you even suspect that you might have a hardware problem, do NOT call this company. They do not repair computers, only software. Also be aware that their “if we don’t fix it, you don’t pay does not apply if a hardware problem exists. You will pay for the visit to find out what the problem is, then you will have to buy the failed component and install it yourself. And you will pay again to get the tech to do the software piece. The order taking staff were not knowledgeable and gave me information that conflicted with what the tech said. They are also unaware of the Angie’s list member discount and refused to give it me because there is no “product code” on the coupon. All that aside, the tech was very knowledgeable and helpful. He did install the hard drive that I bought, and was able to recover all my data off the failing drive. He was great, but I don’t want to deal with their office staff again. And I want someone who can fix computer problems regardless of the cause
Description of Work: My computer stopped working and I suspected a bad hard drive. I expected based on reviews and the description on Angie’s list, that Hellotech would install a new hard drive, if that was the problem, reinstall Windows and rescue my data from the old drive.
