I had new cabinet drawers made, however when they put them in they wouldn't close all the way. The company refused to fix the problem, so I had to look for someone else to finish the job. Andrea was the only individual who would agree to take a look at them. Other's recomended to have new ones made, but she was able to quickly solve the issue with adjusting certain parts of the drawer. I was very pleased with her work and most of all the money she saved me.

It was a positive experience and I am extremely pleased with the final product. I appreciated Andrea's attention to detail and respect for my home...at the end of the night she left everything spotless. Her prices are reasonable and her professionalism is greatly appreciated.

Andrea was amazing. I was fortunate that she was available upon such short notice. She promptly responded to my initial email and followed up with a call shortly after. That weekend she came by for an estimate. Her daily rate was great. She came in and performed the work, providing me with updates near the end of each day. She accurately estimated the cost of materials, and she anticipated possible problems and solutions. I was really impressed with how neat she is as she works. What little mess there may have been, she certainly cleaned. Additionally, she is low key and not chatty. Definitely there to work, but happy to talk when engaged. Her whole demeanor instills confidence and trust. The job was finished on time and on budget. Her work was meticulous. I am so happy!

Andrea did the aforementioned jobs over the course of several visits in September and October 2011. She was a pleasure to work with and extremely reasonable. She takes pride in her work, she works efficiently and thoughtfully. And cleans up after. We had a couple of scheduling snafus, but they were minor. I really trust her. In fact...just called her back to do some more work. The only downside with working with her is that because she is a one-woman operation and she's so good....she's pretty busy.

We had a built-in wall oven that needed replacing. The new oven we bought was same width, but 2.5and quot; taller. We had to retrofit cabinet to make it fit but we had very very little room to spare to correctly fit new oven in -- literally 1/8and quot; due to other equipment above it, when all was said and done. I wanted someone whom I knew would be VERY careful, VERY conscientious. The new oven was a stainless steel $2,000 oven. (Two thousand dollars! Since when are ovens so expensive holy moly...). I did not want some quick careless worker that was going to scratch, dint or dent it. Andrea had done cabinet and carpentrywork for a friend's kitchen remodel -- since I had seen the work there, I was sure Andrea would do a good job here. Anyhoo... Andrea came out beforehand to check the new oven, the old space, and make some notes. She was available the following week, and we set a day. It took several hours to expand and rebuild the existing oven cabinet, and part of that was the precision with which Andrea worked. She was very conscientious, and also considerate -- trying to re-use as much existing material as possible so as not to waste. And she literally was making trims at 1/8and quot; here and there and created a precise and perfect fit in a very very tight space! She also hooked up the 240V electrical and once we plugged everything it... it all fit... it all worked... it was perfect. She also cleaned up the outdoor work space even though it was now dark out, instead of leaving sawdust and a mess that someone else could have easily pretended to forget to see in the dark! All in all, very good work and a very good experience. Definitely someone I would (and will) come back to. ;-)

She let us know what she would do and would not do. She is more of a carpenter, so she likes to stick with that kind of work. She was very professional, and always called back. I had the impression that I would like working with her if I would of had a need for the carpentry work. I would refer her for carpentry work to anyone who asks.

It turned out really well. I was not there in the house and someone else was supervising the job for me. It was good and I like her a lot. She was really helpful and recommended less expensive alternatives where possible. She paid a lot of attention to detail. She was really nice to my dog and that is important. The price was very good.

We are on hold with some stuff as I haven't been around. I have to call her back again. She was fine and very good. She did some stuff and what she did was great. She did a couple of little things and we have to call her back. She was going to come and do it but I got a call to duty and no one was around. She didn't charge us much. It was very reasonable.

Wonderful, I purchased a new faucet and didn't realize that faucets made today are not exactly compatable with the plumbing installed 30 years ago. Andrea produced the correct fittings and spent a tremendous amount of her time in a very uncomfotable positon but the faucet works effortlessly. She made absolutly sure there were no leaks and that i wa pleased with the results. Thank you so much.

Andrea provided a prompt and extremely reasonable cost estimate for the assorted jobs we had within our home in Silver Lake. She arrived as scheduled and got right to work in a no-nonsense, professional manner. All the work was done to our complete satisfaction and we found her attention to details/aesthetic and follow-through to be excellent and often above and beyond what we expected. She's a class act and gets the job done which we found to be refreshing in today's work environment. Highly recommended on all levels.

She arrived for an estimate in the evening after finishing another job. We walked through the house and she made a list of all the things we needed to have done. Some materials I had already purchased for building out the closet as well as the shutter magnet replacements. We agreed upon a date to begin work and saw her again about a week and a half later. She provided other things like paint for the closet and her own tools. She was clean, on time and professional. She even put down a piece of cardboard under her truck to catch a pesky oil leak she had been having as to not stain our driveway. We will definitely use her services again.

The Handy Ma'am was professional, very capable, and full attention to every detail. As we got further into the job, the job became more challenging and extensive than it first appeared, but Handy Ma'am worked very hard to keep cost and materials very low. The end result was excellent work for an affordable price on a very challenging job. The only catch: Handy Ma'am is in very high demand (because she is good) so be sure to book early.

Andrea did a great job in her attempt to help us out. Ultimately, we needed a plumber to come out and fix the problem, but it was Andrea who referred us to a terrific plumber. I would without a doubt hire her again. She is talented, conscientious, and honest! Don't hesitate to hire her for your project :)

she was very cool and even though she had a long day, she came by on a saturday night to complete the job...on her mom's birthday no less! she did a great job, i couldn't be happier and her price was just perfect too. she had all of the supplies that were needed and took care of business. i am very appreciative and it looks amazing.

I spent around $200 to $300 on that work. I like her personally. She is a great person and shows up on time. She has great work ethic and I enjoy the way she does her work. She is highly recommendable. She is a very trustworthy person. I had some electrical issues and she had no problem telling me that she could not do the job. She oversaw his work and did not charge me for it. Everything with the work she has done is fine.

Andrea was responsive, prompt, professional, and pleasant. As a woman it is important for me to have someone I feel comfortable with working in my home. I have a growing list of projects and will definitely call Andrea to work on them.

I'm sure this job doesn't reveal Andrea's potential, and I really liked her timeliness and grounded approach. She's definitely in my rolodex of 'who to call'

We were selling a condo and the Buyer requested some repairs. We live in a different city and I found Handy Ma'am, Andrea, on Angie's List. I had called places close to the condo since this was a small job and wanted to make it convenient. The first service I contacted was on the high side with minimum hrs. plus travel, etc. I called Handy Ma'am next. Andrea called me back that day, I explained the work needed, and she quoted me a very fair price. She kept in touch by email and phone, and even though she didn't know me and I lived in the Midwest, she did the work without asking for a credit card hold or a deposit. Escrow closing was 2 weeks away when I contacted her and she fit us in with no problem. She did a little extra repair on things we hadn't mentioned but needed to be done anyway. I couldn't evaluate her work, but our agent checked it and said everything was well done. She emailed me the invoice, I tipped her 25%, and it was still half the price of the 1st quote I got.

Best Handy person EVER. She's very neat, conscientious, punctual and knowledgeable. What she doesn't know she'll do research before she comes. I can't praise her enough. My mom is equally impressed. We will definitely use Andrea in the future!

I have used many handypersons in the past from Angie's List and no complaints. However, as a female, working with Andrea means I have someone that I feel comfortable having (and leaving her) in my home, moreover, her work is of superb quality, she is on time and if her preceding job runs longer, she calls or texts with updates. My son likes her and Ginger likes her, so she's in!

My father was an excellent carpenter and overall fixer upper. Her skills would please even him, from her choice of paint to the brushes she uses. Fabulous work, wonderful attention to detail.

Andrea was really a joy, her work was meticulous and well done. I needed the removal of a bathroom vanity unit, and for it to be replaced by a pedestal sink. In doing so she needed to patch, plaster and paint the wall, tile part of the floor, create new moulding and trim (which she went out of her way to match perfectly since it has long been discontinued (my house was built in 1911)). Her plumbing was perfect and she did a good job with the floor tiles and matching the color of the grout. She also went to special trouble to make sure the sink and the mirror were fixed super firmly to the wall, to create extra safety for my three year old. I would absolutely recommend her, and I will be calling on her again. She is fun to be around and I personally feel it is important to support a woman as good as her in this profession. My kid no longer says bob the builder, its andrea instead.
