Description of Work: Andrea is a wonder. She did everything from securing my microwave and its stand for earthquake (also secured all the pantry shelves in the garage) to matching the paint color for my front door with the color of my new garden hose and then painting the door. She installed 3 new non-wired motion detector lights and adjusted the sprinklers. She did many more projects in a very timely manner. She is a very capable worker who is definitely #1 on my list of Handypersons I am proud to know and I will use again.

Description of Work: Andrea is a total pro, focused, organized, efficient and skilled and her fee is extremely reasonable. I had a long list to-do list of tasks ranging from repairing a leaky faucet to installing creative solutions to lighting, a pot rack, replacing the toilet mechanism, replacing door knobs and locks, repairing a termite damaged window casing, patching a leaky shed roof, and several other tasks. She completed everything beautifully while saving me money where ever possible. Excellent experience!

Description of Work: Andrea is great! I have used her services several times -- from installing a kitchen faucet to fixing an exploding toilet (it's an air pressure tank). Each time, she has fit me into her schedule, even coming out on a weekend or in the evening when it was an emergency. She has performed all work well, cleaned up everything, and in general, put my house back in working order. And she's nice, too, even getting along with my big, nosey, dog! I will continue to use Andrea's services whenever something else breaks, gets clogged, or otherwise needs fixing, which, unfortunately, it always does.

+ 0 moreWell the good news was I found an office space in my neighborhood that was in my budget..the bad news, it looked like something straight out of "Shawshank Redemption". Still I knew there was "pretty" potential in there somewhere and Andrea was the key to making that happen. Although I'm sure there are fine gentlemen who do fine work in the handyman category on this list, as an "unescorted" female if you will, I had a certain unease about late night renovations with a strange man. Well I have to say I hit the jackpot with Andrea, not only because she's trustworthy [had not a single trepidation about leaving her alone in the office to work] but primarily because she is a top notch handy woman who is committed to doing really excellent work -- even if that means a little extra time and effort on her part. [Who else is going to stain a mini chip in the Ikea flooring?] To quote my landlord when he saw Andrea's "after"..wow. I guarantee when I leave, the rent won't be so cheap.
Description of Work: Update a grim 100 square foot into something bright and functional. Ikea click-and-lock laminate flooring installed over existing (very ugly and worn out) flooring. Interior wall painting. Shelf hanging. Mounting heavy glass dry erase board. Desk assembly.

+ 0 moreI have used Andrea before. I let her know my job list , we arranged a time, she came and worked through my list. She brings her own tools, small hardware such as picture wire, etc. She arrived and took care of everything. She is pleasant, meticulous, works quietly and cleans up after herself.
Description of Work: Andrea painted a closet door, hung a mirror and two pictures, repaired a drawer under a crib, replaced a lightbulb in the garage door opener, and repaired a wobbly chair during this visit. (Previously she had painted my bedroom, installed crown molding and baseboards, put up shelving in the garage and moved speaker wires.)
