Handy House Cleaning

Absolutely horrible. I scheduled a service, got rude phone calls from the cleaner who was supposed to come to my house. I spoke to support about this and they assured me they would fix the situation, but instead they canceled my booking without informing me at all, so the cleaning I was counting on did not happen and I am still struggling to get in touch with them about being compensated.

Great! The apartment was very well clean and was cleaner than we moved in.

It went good. Javier came on time and he was very nice. He was clean. He did it quickly.

they never mopped the living room floor. there was dust in all the corners of the room. they used all MY products and steamer. they used my best dishtowels as rags. the end tables in livingroom (glass) weren't even been clean. they only stayed 1 hour and 45 min. they di if n't touch the entertainment center. the bathtub was filthy.

They canceled three times on me in a row. So I had to go elsewhere they did however refund my money so that was good .

She was the worst I've ever had....she even tried to slip away without saying anything to us. She was in such a hurry she left a bag .

You cancelled couple hours before you were due - are you paying me $15. for canceling?

Kitchen appliances were not cleaned well. Could not seem to clean grout in bathrooms properly.

Handy never showed up. They cancelled 3 bookings at the last minute. Not reliable at all!

Someone needs to teach the young lady how to clean ,the bookcases weren’t dusted the windowsills were Not dusted the knickknack shelf etc were notdusted basically nothing was dusted . I had a rag on the dining room table with furniture polish on it soaking to get a stuck piece of paper off and it was just sitting there soaking she used that rag on my kitchen counters, I have a list of Things with pictures. I could go on and on it was terrible they gave me a $20 credit which I’ll never use because I will never use them again. Also I have a Kirby and a Dyson available and I told her she could use them she used a Dustbuster that’s on a handle that you plug-in and charge that doesn’t pick up anything from the carpet nothing I mean it’s made to pick up a kid that spells Cheerios it’s not made to clean carpet with and I’m sure she wanted to use it because it’s easier than I have a vacuum which is why I needed help. I feel so bad I’ve been taken advantage of so many times that I’m just giving up. I gave her a $10.00 tip, I was distracted by my home care person. I Wrote and asked for a phone call telling them I didn’t want to give a bad review I wanted to tell them that they needed to train her but nobody ever called me. The bathroom rugs were left over the floor and the overflow plates for the stove were left on the sink instead of put back on the stove. I spent hours removing electronics and cleaning off services putting things away to make it easier for her and I’m still cleaning up her mess, I also have a witness that was in the house to verify all of this. I did go out of the house and sit in the backyard to give her some space thinking she might do a better job if nobody was around.

The apartment was dirty from construction. I asked for a deep clean, nice guy who showed up with a backpack and an old vacuum. Bathroom mirros and walls were still dirty, there was still an oder on the walls, and the kitchen floor was still dirty. Enclosing a few pics, the footsteps are mine, but everythign else wasn't cleaned. I was really clear on what I needed from the service and the woman on the phone said they'd do their job 100%. I paid up front, they didn't do their job 100% and I feel like I've been riped off.

TERRIBLE quality. I had to hire another maid service because the house was barely touched. They left 2 hours earlier than they were supposed to. When I complained to the company they gave me a $20 credit for my next service........ dont use this company.

This is the review I posted on Yelp and these are some of the other complaints about this company: The only time I ever got to talk with a human was when I signed up initially. You can't get anyone on the phone. It was not explained to me that the service would be recurring. When I tried to cancel it, it was almost impossible. Their customer service is almost non assistance. I finally had enough, when I got a charge for a day when no maid showed up. When the charge came through on my CC, I complained to my CC company. Handy fought me on this saying "the card member agreed to terms and conditions."

Went OK. I would make sure that the automated reservation portal explains that if you need more than one cleaner for a job, that you have to book additional people yourself. I needed a large house cleaned, and only one person showed up.

This company not convenient for me since they only provide services during the week.

It DIDN'T !! Pro was scheduled to arrive @8:00 a.m., I received a text @7:00 a.m. stating Pro was unable to come and that I was rescheduled for the following Monday. I called AND sent a text stating my dismay. #1 How can you reschedule me without checking first. #2 I had spent a great deal of time decluttering my kitchen, with anticipation of the project and ease for the Pro. I had given my Credit Card number prior to the service, and when I called, emphatically stated that my card was to be cancelled and not used for any service, adjustment, or whatever you call it. Would I recommend Handy.Com, absolutely not!!!

We are selling our home after some remodeling. We needed the house to be ready to list and show. I couldn't do a proper walk through because the new vinyl floors were still wet. When going back the next day the floors had mop brush Mark's and upper cabinets were not cleaned inside which I specifically ask that all cabinets and drawers be cleaned. I received a call the next day checking how the cleaning went . I returned the call and the number was restricted. Our window cleaner Ray was very good and the house keeper was very nice but was sent by herself and only had a certain amount of time to complete.

The cleaner was about 10 minutes late in arriving. She was polite and friendly but didn't get a lot done. She was here for almost 4 hours and got less done than my previous cleaner did in 3 hours. She cleaned both bathrooms well, but didn't finish the kitchen ( I cleaned the sink and the floor). She only got the vacuuming done in the living room. She did clean a lot of dust bunnies from under the bed but did nothing in he library, study and my work area. She was a local girl working for a nation-wide company but didn't help their reputation.

Cleaning person was nice and did a thorough cleaning job.

Nick was fantastic I booked with a person named Star and I tried calling about 30 times in 2 days and the phone rang once and would disconnect!! Not a good way to conduct business. Nick did a great job and I would love to have him back if I could SPEAK with a person instead of on line. I'm 71 years old and this on line stuff is not my bag.

In general, the house was cleaned. I paid extra to have the inside of the oven cleaned and another extra fee to have the windows washed. The oven was not really cleaned well and the Inside oven door was left untouched. Stove top not well wiped. Windows were “done” but smeary and not well done. I would have liked the cleaning professional to use bleach to get mold off grout in showers, that was not done.

Very poor quality work.Tried to dust and vacuum in the dark. Had to point out too many things that weren't done after.

To whom it may concern, I went with a “professional” you recommended – Handy. I just went to the house to check on their work and NOTHING was done. The cleaning person was there all day and as far as I can tell, slept the whole day. I reached out to Handy to ask for a refund and their response was to give me $20 towards my next service with them! What is the remediation process for this type of experience? They of course charged my card and now I’m out the money, have a house I still need to be cleaned, and have only a few days to get it accomplished. To say the least, I am very disappointed in this transaction. Sincerely, Jay Littlefield
