Global Building Corp

Description of Work: I am the Facilities Manager of Founders Metropolitan Community Church in L.A.'s Los Feliz neighborhood. We occupy what is a 100 year old church building. Jacob Caruthers of Global Building Corp was contracted to perform a complete renovation of our basement, which included a Fellowship Hall, a live performance stage theater, and completely brand new, commercial grade kitchen. In addition, GBC retrofitted the building with an elevator servicing all four levels, a separate wheelchair lift for the main Sanctuary, and installed central HVAC for every room in the main building, including staff offices, conference rooms, and the aforementioned basement and Sanctuary.

Description of Work: Global Building Corp. came out and fixed some electronic connections for the cooling system.

Description of Work: Mr. Gerald Caruther and his crew did several projects around my home. He is the third general contractor that we had to hire to complete the whole house remodeling. Wish would have found him at the beginning of the project. He built an L shaped beautiful BBQ Island in the corner of my back yard, with a gas BBQ and a Charcoal Grill and a sink in between and a long counter top, with lots of storage space underneath, using the left over bathroom marble, tile and onyx pieces, etc. He built it exactly according to the design was given to him. He is smart, talented and very intelligent person. He listens carefully as to what the client wants and he gets it! They had to run all the electrical and plumbing pipes from one side of the house across the brick floor to the the BBQ location. He cleverly ran them all from underneath without touching and cutting or disfiguring the brick work around BBQ area. They cleaned up after themselves every single day, as if no one ever been there and hauled away the trash. Never piled them up in the back yard or the drive way. He also installed a cooling system in a closet in the house where all the delicate electronic devices are placed. He installed a tricky steamer outside and connected it to bathroom shower. Again they did everything very neatly and cleaned up after their work every time they came. They were punctual and kept me current and always very respectful and courteous. I have no reservation in recommending Global Building for any size project. I recommend every one to visit his website too to see the commercial works he has done.
