Urgent, do not do business with George’s Lighting Plus. They break lamps and lie to your face accepting no responsibility. I took my expensive task lamp into George’s Lighting Plus to have the switch repaired. I got a call saying they could not fix it. When I went in to pick up the lamp some employee had broken it. I pointed this out to the man at the counter and he just shrugged his shoulders pretending not to understand. I demanded to talk to the absent owner, and he got the original employee I had dropped the lamp off with on the phone and that man denied everything, accused me of breaking it and said it was broken beforehand. The man and the employee at the counter lied to my face and accepted no responsibility for breaking an expensive lamp. This is criminal behavior. So, if you want to be ripped off, and have your expensive lamps broken, George’s Lighting Plus is the place that does the worst work in Los Angeles. George’s Lighting Plus is a bad business and they are criminals they do not know what they are doing with lighting or lamps.

I took my parking meter lamp to repaired after it fell. He not the lamp. Very easy to drop off, he loaded it in the car when I picked it up because it's heavy. Very nice people.

Perfectly- excellent service

I thought the price was fair. My only complaint is that the first time I went to the store on a Saturday during business hours, no one was there. Then I went back and dropped off my lamps, and they were supposed to be ready in a week, but they were not. When I called and asked Carlos to get them finished, he did, in a few days, but when I went to pick them up, there was no one knowledgeable to help, so we had to find the lamps, find the price, and figure out how to use the credit card machine so I could pay and take them home. Overall, I am very happy with the service they provided, but it would be helpful if they could work on the issues noted above.

George's Lighting was unresponsive and unprofessional. I purchased an Angie's List deal for a lighting consultation with this contractor. They were supposed to contact me to set up a date and time for the consultation. I never heard from them. I tried contacting them, and so did Angie's List on my behalf, to no avail. After a few weeks, I gave up and Angie's List refunded the deal to me.

We recently moved to the area. The movers practically destroyed our chandelier. But Carlos is a wizard. He replaced all ofthe sockets, straightened the bent pieces, rehung the crystals, and cleaned it up. It is now beautiful again. I can't say enough good things about Carlos -- he is excellent. I'm now referring everyone I know to him!

Finally, a great shop that repairs lamps and lighting fixtures! Really hard to find in L.A. Excellent service, and go just to check out the awesome chandeliers!

I can't recommend George's Lighting enough. If you have a big chandelier and tall ceilings (my entranceway is 17 feet), you want to go with a lighting specialist who has years and years of experience. Payman and company fit the bill and, besides that, they are super friendly, professional and trustworthy. If you want the job done right and you wan't a price that's right, look no farther than George's Lighting. Thanks guys!

Carlos was a life-saver. I have a very old brass and very large chandelier. Carlos came out and spent a lot of time repairing one of the lights so that the whole thing worked perfectly. He also balanced this very large chandelier so that it hung evenly. I can only sing his praises!

Chose George's Lighting strictly on location and interaction on initial phone call. The owner was most gracious and welcoming. We decided to drop the lamps off even though the owner offered pick up and delivery service. This place is worth a visit. It is an old Hollywood lamp store with the most beautiful chandeliers I had ever seen. We're talking Swarovski crystal and murano glass pieces. So beautifully displayed. Treated with such warmth by owner. Job was done in less than 24 hours. When I picked up lamps the employee Carlos - a gem - lovingly spoke about the beautiful chandeliers. This place will install a chandelier and even come wash it for you!

Carlos from George's Lighting did an INCREDIBLE job cleaning a 1937 antique chandelier that was hanging in my house. Very reasonable price, he brought new crystals to replace missing pieces and he was a real joy to work with. What an amazing job. A true professional with 20+ years of experience. Totally amazing experience w these guys!
