Description of Work: Flores prepared two patches of dirt in the front of my house, each about 10' X 15', by leveling it and installing a fabric weed barrier. They had decomposed granite delivered and this was spread over the barrier and smoothed down. A few weeks later, when it was clear the granite was not compacting properly on its own, I asked them to come back and tamp it down, and they did.

Description of Work: Our experience with Flores Landscaping was terrific. We waited four years after moving into our Silver Lake home to finally deal with an ugly, featureless back hillside that was completely unusable and unattractive. Rumaldo and his team transformed it into a fully functional space with a lovely set of steps descending comfortably to an ample terrace with plenty of room for a table and chairs, potted plants, and even a daybed. Rumaldo then planted out the hillside with plants of our choice, and added a very thoughtful and low-impact irrigation system. Along the way, he took great care with many details, like making sure the entire hillside was covered with a thick weed barrier. Rumaldo is extremely pleasant to deal with -- a true gentleman with a great sense of humor. I am happy to give him our highest recommendation, and wish him great success in future projects.
