This was an amazing experience from start to finish. The crew was professional, polite, hard working, prompt, and respectful. Their workmanship demonstrated true talent and craftsmanship. My backyard is completely transformed into a paradise with beautiful plants, pavers, sod, and decomposed granite. At the end of each day, they crew would pick up their tools and make everything as nice as possible. I highly recommend Flores Landscaping and will use them in future projects. Thank you guys for doing such a wonderful job!!!

The work went great. Excellent communication and great crew of workers. Couldn't have gone better.

After consulting Angies List, we hired Flores Landscaping to install sod, redo some landscaping and begin monthly service. We have been extremely pleased with their work. Always there when they say they will be and very conscientious. Results are as promised and very honest about potential problems and work arounds. We are very happy with the service we have received and how professional they are.

Rumaldo and his crew finished the job on time and on budget. Most importantly, my yard turned out better than I had envisioned. Although I am a first time home owner and this was the largest job I had ever contracted, Rumaldo and his crew's attention to detail put my worries at ease. Rumaldo was on site regularly, giving me the chance to review the recent progress, request necessary modifications, etc. I was very picky throughout the entire process, struggling with decisions like which color flagstone to use, precisely where to set the retaining wall, how to make it "flow" w/ the existing structures, etc. Rumaldo accommodated my every wish and made many helpful design suggestions that improved the overall look and structural integrity. I would definitely look to Flores Landscaping for any future needs and would recommend their services to friends/family. They were very fair price-wise as well. (I took 3 bids on the job.)

From start to finish, the team exhibited professionalism and courtesy, from the office personnel, to the person who provided the estimate, to the crew, and the owner, Mr. Flores. Everyone arrived on time, kept in communication with us, and listened to what we needed and wanted. The area behind our home is pretty steep. There was quite a bit of digging and earth-moving necessary, and the materials were heavy. The team made the whole thing look easy!

Overall I was very pleased.

They were fantastic from the first estimate to the end of the project. Rumaldo worked within my budget and created a beautiful end result. He kept me apprised of the progress, answered any questions. I couldn't be happier and will have them back for my next project!

My experience working with them was excellent. They did everything we needed done and did it in a timely manner and it was done and the lawn looks beautiful.

Rumaldo and his crew did a fantastic job. My house has been transformed. The design was well thought out, and he was always responsive to my suggestions. The work was completed in a timely manner. The crew was on time and worked hard the entire day. Whenever there was a concern, it was handled quickly and professionally by Rumaldo. When some of the plants didn't work out in the original location, he moved them to another area. I'm so happy with the work Flores Landscaping did, that I have engaged them to do the bimonthly maintenance, which is also going very well. This was a huge project and I couldn't be more pleased with the results.

FLORES LANDSCAPING LLC I was getting estimates from a lot of places. They were close by.

It wasn't a real complicated thing, it just took someone who knew what they were doing. They did keep the appointment on time and they were able to solve the problem and get me up and running very quickly. I'm thinking about calling them for some issues, I just haven't needed to yet. They were very prompt in answering the phone, there was no phone tag which I liked. The person who took the message was very friendly, knowledgeable and set up the appointment. He called about 30 minutes before he arrived to let me know when he would be there. There were no parts, just service. I was overall pleased.

Tree trimming and planting was perfect. Was not happy with clearing of front hillside lawn of ivy. Ivy was allegedly cleared and drought resistant flower plants put in as well as irrigation/sprinkler system. Ivy came back and now dominates the land again. Sprinkler system works well though and if it wasn't for the Ivy coming back, I would give them higher marks.

They were able to take our idea and make it even better. Our yard is now a wonderful, tranquil area. I don?t recall how much we paid but it was very competitive compared to the other estimates we got. We would use them again and we recommend them.

I cannot even begin to describe how pleased I am with the work that Flores Artscape did on my yard. If life was fair, Flores would perform every landscaping job in Los Angeles! I recently moved into a house in Silverlake. The backyard had not been touched in a decade. To say it was a jungle was an understatement. In addition, the yard was built on a huge, unterraced slope, and there was very limited access to the yard at all. I invited several landscape companies in to see what could be done?several said it was impossible and others gave me quotes that were completely beyond my budget. But Flores Artscape listened to my needs and concerns and delivered a plan that was straightforward and very reasonably priced. Everything, and I mean everything, about the project went well. I appreciated the fact that simply rolled up their sleeves and got to work, working seven days a week. I figured the project would take several months but instead it was done in weeks. Every day they checked with me to make sure I was happy with their work. Their terracing, stonework, and plant selections were all expertly done. I was so pleased with what they did on the back yard that I had them re-work my front and side yard as well. The job has been done for a few weeks now and Flores Artscape still stops by to make sure all looks good and to make adjustments where necessary. So in summary?top quality workmanship, very reasonable prices, work done on time and on budget, and all done by the friendliest people one could wish to know. What is not to like?

They were fine. I went with another person and I would probably use that other person for any other work.

The project started and completed on time. Most of the work was excellent. However, they were rushing to finish the work on the same day concrete was pour. As a result some foot prints were found on the concrete. They did try to repair the footprints, but some still there.

Flores Landscaping worked with me within my budget to creatively design a beautiful, low-maintenance landscape that solved drainage and irrigation problems, accounted for varying climatic zones, and expressed my taste and personality. Flores employees were wonderful collaborators. From the owner (who was involved every step of the way) to the supervisor, to the diggers, tree trimmers, wall builders, and plant planters, communication was a high priority. I could reach the owner promptly whenever I had a question or request. Every detail was attended to. Every work day ended with sweeping and tidying up. Every request received a yes, we can and will do that response. Follow-up was meticulous. I would highly recommend Flores Landscaping to anyone planning the smallest to the largest landscape design or improvement project. Review update 6/2013: I've been meaning to update the review for a couple of years. Within a year, all the bender board has popped up, because there were not enough support posts used, nor did they go deeply enough into the ground. Many of the sprinkler system connections have sprung leaks, some quite serious, because the PVC pipes were fitted together without glue. The plants recommended for my back hedge along a wall were drought "tolerant" but not tolerant of the copious amounts of water required to keep the Marathon sod next to it green. Therefore, a third of the hedge plants have died. Even after replacing them, the new ones died too, apparently from too much water in the location where planted. So, as things have developed, I would give Flores Landscaping only a C for workmanship and plant expertise.
