FLORENTINO GONZALEZ

They gave an estimate a day after we called them. They came out within 24 hours. They were punctual. The estimate was for about $1200. They came out quickly and were friendly. They didn?t do the work as we used someone else who gave a better estimate. We would call them again maybe for something else.

I called this company because it was listed in Los Angeles. Unfortunately I did not live within the area that Mr. Gonzalez serviced. But, he informed me that he did have a friend that worked near my home and if it was all right with me, he would call his friend and give him my telephone number. This, I think, was beyond the call of duty. I really appreciated this gesture since I have called quite a few companies and couldn't find one that was in my area. Mr. Gonzalez's friend called me this morning and when he found out I needed service right away since I was going out of town next week, he made arrangements to come and take care of the work this afternoon. I was quite happy with his work and grateful for the referral from Mr. Gonzalez.

The sprinkler work was fine. The maintenance work was average, but it was conducted over the course of several visits and by the end of it, Mr. Gonzalez claimed I owed him an additional $200. I am certain I did not get $900 worth of work, let alone $1100. An unpleasant experience for me and I would assume for Mr. Gonzalez as well.

Florentine comes to my house one day a week and it is always on the same day at the same time. I think he is very punctual and hard working. He doesn't fool around when he is here and he keeps to the work. As far as the price, I can tell you that he charges by the size of your yard and he charges about 20 dollars an hour to plant.

He arrives on time and speaks very good English. He is very knowledgeable about what he does.

Unfortunately, we never got the chance to meet Mr. Gonzalez because he did not show up or call. I left a couple of messages for him while we were waiting for him but never heard back.

Mr. Gonzales came to my property at the agreed upon appointment time and was polite and businesslike. We came to an agreement about cost and time for the job. He said he would come in two weeks on Saturday. He didn't come. Thinking there was a misconception on my part although my tenant was there and thought as I did. I left several messages on his phone, but he never called back. I waited until the next Saturday in case that is what he meant, but once again he didn't come. I hired someone else.

Florentino has been responsive with phone calls and easy to work with in person. He helped us meet the LA County fire code clearance deadline by clearing out our overgrown yard. He was so helpful and generous that he loaned us his personal Green Bin so that we would have enough containers for all the yard waste he was clearing. On his first visit he and his team cleared three full Green Bins worth. I couldn't believe the yard I returned to after their first visit. He cleared brush so well that he discovered our patio continued much farther than we knew! Bushes and dirt had been covering a large portion of the patio. Florentino and his team have been respectful and very trustworthy.

We are Very happy with Florentino. He has done everything exactly as we asked and is very responsive to any of our requests. We live on a small cul-de-sac and what one homeowner does affects the others. We tried three other services prior to Florentino and neighbors were always upset. Since hiring Florentino everyone is happy. We Highly recommend his service.

I was so impressed with his clean up that I hired him to do my regular maintenance, as well as recommended him to several friends. Extremely pleased. He's a little more expensive than other gardeners, but well worth it! He even checks his messages and promptly returns calls!

He does a great job....we have had him for over 10 years and he is very experienced and consistently does a very good job. Thanks for all you do..we recommend when possible.
