Fernando's Complete Landscape & Hardscape

I contacted Fernando to inquire about removing lawn and dirt from my back yard in order to facilitate the construction of a deck. He was available to meet me the next day to give me a quote, he worked with me on the price, and we scheduled the work 5 days later. On the day of the job, he showed up with his crew a little early. Unfortunately it was raining (freak thing in LA...) and they weren't able to do the job that day. He said we'd have to reschedule at a later time in the coming week. As this put me in a time crunch I asked if they could come back the next day instead, which was a sunday. He said that if the weather permitted he would be here with his crew, knowing that the dirt they would have to remove would be wet and therefore heavier. It was sunny so he showed up earlier than expected and performed the job as expected. He left the premises clean. He and his crew were courteous. Overall the process was smooth and he delivered going the extra mile.

Fernando and his team showed up on time, did exactly what we discussed and made the yard look amazing. I could not be happier with the service they provided on all fronts.

Fernando was pleasant, knowledgeable and extremely professional when I met with him. I needed all grass, weeds, dead plants and a small tree removed from my backyard. I then needed a redesign with mulch, dg and drought resistant plant installed. He got back to me within a week with an estimate that was fair and included all that I needed. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond my control I was not able to hire him but it was in no fault of Fernando's. If things change I will definitely keep him in mind and I plan on referring his services to others that may be in need of landscaping.

Fernando and his team did an amazing job! Fernando is very easy to communicate with, always responsive and punctual. We are so happy with his service that we decided to hire his team for our regular maintenance work.

Fernando sends two gardeners each week and they do far more than the "cut and blow" guys we used to have. They understand horticulture, knowing when to leave alone the spring flowering bushes until AFTER they bloom, THEN shape them. We haven't seen them bloom for 10 years because we could never get our previous gardener to understand that he kept trimming off the flower buds with his monthly "shaping." Finally, with Fernando's crew, the bushes in front of the house are in full pink spring bloom! Beautiful! They also take initiative, and have kept our Bird of Paradise, bamboo, and raffis palms neatly trimmed. I highly recommend this company.

They were very good and cleaned up nicely.

I've had Fernando's guys coming to my place every Monday for the last year or so, and they're fantastic. They do everything they're supposed to do correctly, and they even do a little more - occasionally I'll find that they've put new succulents into one of my empty flower pots, or added small accent plants to my front garden. Can't recommend them enough for gardening work. I also reached out to Fernando to handle a tiling / gas fire pit job in my back yard and he got it done very affordably.

Ever has been so responsive and so helpful. Any time I call he has the problem resolved or the requested service dealt with immediately.

I continue to be very pleased with this service and team often goes above and beyond. For example, recently gave us lots of additional plants for our backyard and fixed a missing screw on our front gate. Really happy with them and would recommend!

They were very efficient, as advertised. There ended up being a couple of areas that didn't grow in, but they came and replaced the sod and installed a few more sprinklers in area. All of these repairs were finished in about a day so it was timely and efficient. They had really great reviews on Angie's List so we felt comfortable going with them.

Fernando is a very attentive service provider. He was timely, professional, and computerized...which I loved! Invoices and Estimates were all set up via email and were very timely. He did EXACTLY what he said he would do when he said he would do it. He responded promptly to any questions or concerns I had. If I wanted something adjusted, he took care of it. If an adjustment I wanted would give me more piece of mind, he did it. After installing the system, he tested it carefully and allowed me to carefully walk the entire system and inspect everything. I feel great about his work. PLUS, Fernando keeps a crew...which is important. You can trust that the men working on your project are skilled and experienced. I had some very delicate new plants that could have been easily hurt, and they were very careful - nothing got stepped on or hurt. I am so pleased! Give yourself some peace of mind and hire Fernando. I highly recommend him.

From initial contact with Fernando, he was prompt to reply, visit the property and provide a written estimate. His crew arrived on time, worked with limited supervision, completed the tree removal and trimming processes, and cleaned up and hauled away the cuttings. They completed the work in 2 days. At the completion inspection, I noted several aspects that still needed attention and Fernando had crew return and complete the process to my satisfaction. I asked him to return and give an estimate for work on our rental property. I would definitely hire him again.

Large vintage Los Angeles courtyard condo with mature lawns, trees, and potted gardens. Plants and trees look much happier with ongoing care provided. Always on time as scheduled, takes extra care, the care homeowners take with plantings and grounds. Example: clean behind trash cans. Cost is just a little bit higher but the result is terrific compared to other gardeners.

7/28/14 they made an estimate which I accepted, in part, shortly afterwards. Despite my many calls and messages, he never set up a date to do the work. Finally 8/18/14 I sent him a message, thru Angie's ad, "today is your last chance to set a date..." I did not get a response. Richard Nielsen 8/19/14

Nice guy. Came out, showed up on time and did everything he said he would do. Excellent referral.

I told him I needed a written bid since I had to provide it to the HOA for approval. He said he understood and took my email to forward the bid. It has been over a month and still no email with the bid. I've called him 3 times and the first 2 times he said okay he would send the bid but this last phone call was a different story. He said he doesn't send bids via email. That the verbal bid is all he can do. He also said, now the bid only covers the trees in the back and not the trees in the front which is completely different than what he said initially. I think we are lucky we didn't do work with this company. They seem flaky, unreliable, and lack integrity.

I contacted Fernando through the 'contact this provider' option on Angie's List and he got back to me via phone. We scheduled an estimate right away and he was thorough and gave good ideas. The work was scheduled for a couple days later. The crew completed the work in less than a day and I was very happy with the results, it was a lot of work done quickly and it looked great. I now use Fernando for weekly maintenance which costs $150 per month.

They were so helpful, so fast and very easy to work with. Fernando called us while the workers were here to make sure everything was going smoothly. I have only good things to say about them.

The service went well. He clarified the scope of work and had it written down not to forget. The pricing was reasonable and he took care of everything we asked him to do. Scheduling was not too difficult.

There are many things that went wrong. They had no license or insurance. We received a quote, then he charged us more to paint the other side of the fence. When he installed the fence, he did not put it into the earth. It was 5" higher on one side than the other, completely uneven. He didn't install it properly into the ground. It was just sitting on top of the ground. He did not complete the job. Slats were left open, and he refused to continue the work after I complained about the fence being uneven. Yesterday, I received a bill asking for 90% of the payment. He did not even put the fence together properly. Since I have a swimming pool, I had to bring in someone else to finish the job for safety reasons.

Fernando is the ultimate professional. I called them to remove some trees and trim some bushes. Fernando came out and made sure everything was perfect. I then asked him to quote me some other things. His prices are very good. HIs workers are all polite and hardworking. Fernando has completed a number of projects here - all expertly!

Fernando was initially responsive and showed up on time for out initial appointment. We talked with him about our project and supplied him with a list of plants and the landscape design. He said that he would get back to us in a week with an estimate but we never heard from him again. I e-mailed and called to no avail. Very disappointing.

Fernando and his crew were excellent! The job took him three days to complete and I am totally satisfied with the quality and cost of his work. I am now in the process of getting an estimate for a fence from Fernando. He and his crew arrived each day on time and did a better job than I expected. We are totally pleased!

I will use Fernando for future landscaping needs as I have confidence in his expertise and ability. A really nice guy, too.
