Fernando's Complete Landscape & Hardscape

I called this provider and requested a bid to replace my lawn. He was responsive and returned my call right away. Also, he was punctual and pleasant when we met at my home. He measured the lawn and told me he would put together a bid and call me back- that call never arrived. I tried to reach out to him twice but he never called me back.

Planted many plants and bushes. Looked nice when they were done. I had a general idea of where I wanted everything, although I would have liked their input and suggestions as well. Overall pleased

The landscaping was excellent. He was on time and did great work. I will definitely rehire him in the future.

The crew arrived early, worked diligently all day, and left the yard looking spotless. They were very courteous, professional, and did a great job.

Everything went smoothly. Fernando and his crew showed up on time and finished the job on time. Fernando took the time to walk me through the new drip system and made sure I was happy at each step of the entire process. He and his crew took extra time to place the new front walk stones so that they formed a very good looking pattern and they spent the time to cement them in level. I recommend him to anyone needing landscaping or hardscaping and who wants the job done in a professional manner. Fernando provided a written detailed bid before he started and there were no surprises. I recommend him highly.

I purchased two Angie's List Big Deals for this service and it worked out well. They were pretty prompt, flexible and easy to work with. I guess the only bad thing about it was I did not know about the dumping fees for the landscaping take-away. It was an extra cost that I had to incur later on. It was about another $450 over the deal price for the dumping fee of the landscaping waste. They made me aware of it. There were no problems setting the appointment and they were on time.

Fernando is professional, knowledgeable, prompt, flexible, and has an excellent crew of hard workers. In the backyard they installed a rather complex irrigation system on an electronic timer/control that deals with a 3 smallish patches of lawn, several fruit trees throughout the property, a vegetable garden, and lots of pots positioned around the patio, deck and back area. They were doing such an excellent job that half-way through the irrigation project we asked them to pour a concrete barrier to contain our spreading bamboo. To our amazement, they completed that added task in one day and did a good job. They dug down a full 24 inches (necessary for bamboo roots), reinforced with re-bar, and finished the top with clean, neat concrete work. We were so impressed by all their work that we've hired them to do our weekly maintenance.

OMG First of all Fernando and his men did the Big Deal (2 men for 4hrs of $249)Removing plants & bushes in the front yard...Also hauled everything away for $250 more...it was worth it! They did such an excellent job that we decided to put new sod in the entire front yard and DG (decomposed granite) in the back yard..also removed my 20 yr. old plants & bushes from the back...Also removed and old trunk of a tree...They are excellent workers and hardly took much time for lunch....Beautiful job from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. After the job, they cleaned and left the front and back "spick and span"....Wonderful Landscapers!! We now planted some plumeria and gardenia trees in front and pebbles all around the DG area....in back....not decided what type of low maintenance plants to put in back....My husband and I are 81 yrs. old and decided to do all this cuz of our age and to make life a little easier in maintaining the yard...Thank You Angies List for having Fernando's Golden Leaf Landscapers on your List..... Could not have gone better.

I recently moved to a new house with about 1/3 of an acre of land which includes grass, large pine trees, and a variety of plants and foliage. I made numerous attempts to find a landscaping service to take care of the yard...or even just to mow the grass but to no avail. Many left messages, not one call back...until I called Fernando. Not only did Fernando actually answer the phone, he agreed to come by to take a look at the property that day. After he surveyed the situation we came to an agreement for him to have 2 men spend 8 hours at my place taking care of the yard, cleaning up, repairing sprinklers, etc. In advance of the work, Fernando sent a detailed estimate. Fernando and the crew arrived on time and got right to work. I was impressed by at the efficiency and care that his team put into the work and by the end of the day, every item on the list was done to my satisfaction. I really didn't have to give any feedback because they did a great job! I was so pleased with this initial visit, I have signed up with Fernando to have weekly lawn work done and I am having him quote me on replacing my sprinkler control today.

Fernando and his crew were great. The work got done much faster than we thought was possible (a total of about 4 working days), was of high quality, and was much less expensive than we though that amount of work would cost. There was a delay of about a week in installing the sod, but Fernando was very responsive when we told him we needed the sod prior to a photo shoot, and he made sure everything was taken care of on time. It's clear that he was attempting to exceed our expectations in every respect, and he did.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was great. They did a great job. For $275, it was a really good bargain because they did a lot of work. They were great, friendly, and nice guys. They cleaned up after themselves. They called me the very next day after I purchased the deal so they were really responsive. It was like phone tag for maybe a day but he kept calling me back so it was good. I wanna hire them really soon for something else.

Fernando was very easy to work with. He did a good job of matching the existing concrete path, which was slightly uneven, so it looks like it was all put in together. Very happy with all the work.

Incredibly well. Fernando returned my call within a few hours, met with us to discuss what we wanted , gave us a verbal estimate on the spot. He followed up with a written estimate via email that evening. Called to say he had a job postponed and could start sooner if we were ready. We were, and he and his crew were here the next day. The job was completed in 2 1/2 days, cost was exactly as bid. The site was cleaned up after each work day. Fernando called when they were going to be late due to traffic delay. I would definitely recommend Fernando Lopez and will be working with him in the future on another project.

His crew was quiet and performed their work well, cleaned up well when they were done. Fernando is not licensed but I felt that he knew his business. He walked around the yard with me and explained everything he was going to do and why. My water bill for the bas six months has been in the 330.00 range. So after determining that I did not have a leak in the house, I was fairly certain it was in the outside irrigation system. I had complained to my regular landscapers, but the problem was never resolved. I will be able to give you more information in a few months when I get my water bill.

Fernando was personable, punctual and professional. I thought the price was high but sprinkler work seems to be that way. His crew was on time and finished the project without me having to be there. They left the yard clean. You would have never known they dug the place up.

Fernando and his team were really prompt and thorough. Responded quickly, solved our problem, and gave us good advice on ways to improve the system we have. Also his team cleaned up the area after his work, and were very pleasant and quiet while working. I would definitely use him again, and recommend him to others.

I contacted Fernando to come out for a bid for repair and construction of our pool. He gave us a date for the appointment and I waited for him, and he simply didn't show up. He didn't call or anything. We I called him asking why he didn't show up for the appointment and he stated that he was busy. We arranged another appointment and he did show up. I spent 30 minutes with him going over the estimate and he promised to get a written estimate back to me within a couple of days. After 5 days I didn't hear back so I tried to contact him and he didn't return my calls. I kept trying to reach him for the next 2 days. Finally, after several attempts, he emails me saying that he was busy and that the earliest he could get the estimate to me was in November (I'm writing this on August 14th). Even if he was extremely busy does it really take 3 months to get out an estimate? He could have just told me he was too busy to do it or that he just wasn't interested. His failure to show up for appointments and refusal to follow through with appointments cost me 3-4 weeks of time that I could have invested with another company. I stand behind every account on this review. Caveat Emptor with this company.

Fernando does great work. He is professional, prompt, and knowledgeable. His team remove a tire size tree stump, and concrete rubble from behind our garage. He cleared the space and laid decomposed granite to prevent anything from growing in the space. The price for the job was what i expected. We will continue to call Fernando for future jobs.

Fernando has done some sprinkler system repair in a couple of occasions - good work, reasonable price

Fernando and his team are complete pros. Once you talk to him, you instantly know he's the right guy for the job. I had an urgent situation and Fernando came out same day to give me a quote and started the next day. Put up a well framed, clean looking fence, moved the sprinklers and checked them as well as moved a heavy shed and leveled it. Even came out on a Sunday to make sure things were done by the deadline I had. Great service and great workmanship.

Fernando was great. He always answered the phone or got back to me quickly if I left a message. He gave a quote that was very fair and was great and fair when we made adjustments as the job progressed. He had good ideas to help solve a few problems we ran into along the way and was always super nice to work with. And last, but not least, he showed up when he said he would and gave accurate estimates about how long things would take and when the job would be done. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Again, Fernando was great!

He explained that his crew would be at my house between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. He brought them there at around 8:15 a.m. Both of the crew were very hard workers and had the job completed by 1:30 p.m. Fernando came back. He went over the job with me completely to ensure that it was done to my expectation and satisfaction. He, then, worked on the final details. He was extremely professional throughout the process.

I found Fernando's on Angie's list I thought his work was creative and gorgeous. ( FYI the Wife is very happy! ) He's not only done anamazing job on my yard he is also farily priced, honest, fast, and does the work right the first time. ( And trust me I shopped around.) Your going to love your yard if he gets to do it. All I've gotten after he finished my yard is nothing but compliment. I highly recommend him.....

I hired Fernando and his team to give a bid on general yard maintenance. His bid was fair for the worked asked of him. He has now been the sole provider of lawn maintenance for our household for the past year and what a difference he has made! Fernando and his team show up on the 1st Saturday of each month and clean, mow, maintain the sprinklers, plants and trees on the property. He always has a smile on his face and bends over backwards to accomodate our needs. I have not had one bad experience with Fernando and his team since they have been maintaining the property and would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who is looking for a fair, honest and hard working crew to maintain their yards, sprinkler systems and concrete work and repair. I wish all of the contractors I have used in the past were as good as Fernando and his crew!
