Everything Wet

I hired Alex (if that's his real name) to put in a new electronics system for my large spa. He said he needed $1800 upfront in order to get the equipment. As time went on I tried to get him to install it. Over and over again he would make an appointment and then just not show up. Unfortunately for me I hadn't researched him as if I would I would have seen he had a terrible BBB report. I did my money back eventually and learned a valuable lesson. I'm sure he's still "doing business" under another DBA or he's in jail. Stay far far away from this guy.

He came out in January, and the job was somewhat completed by May. There were still missing pieces, and he was supposed to come at the end of June to remedy some problems that we were having. The concrete company actually put a lean on us to pay the bill that he was supposed to have paid them due to a bad check. He gave you a fraudulent license number.

I had been thinking about doing work outside, and i saw this person truck. I got a hold of him and I had him come up and he sounded very knowledgeable. So i had what he was going to be doing with cost and everything. I gave him $10,000-$15,000 initially. He then started saying that if i paid him more up front he could get done sooner. I wound up giving him all the money and he never came back for work and he disappeared. I tried to track him down by the address he gave me , and I tracked him down and it was a PO Box. He won't return calls or emails. I also followed with the CA license board, and he's not even licensed, and he's not even applying for it. I need to let people know to not give him any money and not hire this person.
