They were supposed to call back the day but never did. The estimate was way to high; I tried to get them to go lower, they told me they can try for $9,000.00, but they never got back to me. I am disgusted with them.

I talked with the salesman that came out and let him know that I only wanted the living room and two bedrooms in carpet and the rest of the house in hardwood flooring. They came out and installed two bedrooms of carpet and told me that the living room wasnt put in the contract. When I looked it over I saw that they never included the living room in it. When they installed the hardwood floors they left out part of my bathroom and my laundry room. They argued and argued with me that it wasnt in the contract. After about two months of haggling they finally installed half of it but Im still without the laundry room area.

The workers they had did a great job and everyone showed up on time, it's just that they were very expensive.

Harvey from Empire today arrived right on time. He brought samples and was very informative, making it much easier for us to decide which type of carpet to go with. He gave us his cell phone number if we should have any questions later on about care for the carpet. The installers arrived the next morning. They moved all our furniture, installed the carpet, and cleaned up afterwards. They never took any kind of a break and worked all day long.

They did a great job- came right on time as promised. We were impressed with the efficiency.

The person they sent out was nice enough but the price was very high.

I heard that this company got the Angie's List best award and so I decided that I wanted to see their estimate on how much it would cost for new flooring. I called them to make an appointment for flooring and the bath remodeling (one representative for each day). The Flooring representative was suppose to come at 9pm on a Monday. The representative called about 8:45pm to let me know he would be late and I said it was fine. After attempting to call my cell phone twice at 9pm and me not responding, I called him back at 9:15pm. David (the flooring representative) never picked up the phone. I called Empire to see where he was at and they said they could not get a hold of him. The next day Empire calls me back to tell me that my condo complex was a dorm and they don't do work on dorms. I eventually found out that David argued with his manager and they would not be coming to give me an estimate. If their people are this lazy in trying to find a place, then I wouldn't count on their services.

It was a tough job and their work was done to the letter. I enjoyed their professional service and would recommend them to others. They came to the house exactly at the time they were supposed to arrive.

Upon completion, they cleaned up very well. They did a walk through with me to assure my satisfaction. The company is very thorough from beginning to end. I will definitely rehire them for other flooring needs as they are a one stop store. I was very satisfied with their timeliness as they installed the very next day. Luckily, they carried my laminate in stock.

The installers did show up on time and on the day promised by the salesperson. I was very pleased with the installation. The carpet was very tight and looked good around the edges too.

Great work; no pressure from salesman, fast installation, professional and high-quality installation team; nice carpeting.

They came to provide an estimate and bring samples for us so we could choose the carpeting and window treatments. They had a lot of samples to choose from. We scheduled the installation and they arrived on the scheduled day. They performed the work in the time frame scheduled. I discovered that they installed the wrong window treatment in the kitchen. I contacted their customer service dept. and they arranged to come back with the correct window treatment. I also liked their financing plan;no payments or interest until January 2007.

Empire is not the best company for carpet, selection of low VOC carpets is limited and the installation people were very slow and not as professional as we would have liked. Also not the greatest deal but it is really the only game in town if you need carpet right away and don't want to wait. Make sure you upgrade on the padding. We were advised to get the regular padding and it really sucks.

They did a fantastic job, got everything done quickly, and cleaned up after themselves well. Id recommend them for carpet, floor coverings and laminate to anyone!

I CALLED THEM AND THEY WERE OUT THE NEXT DAY WITH THE INSTALLATION. THE CARPETS LOOK SO PROFESSIONAL AND COMFORTABLE TO WALK ON. THEIR PRICE WAS A LITTLE HIGHER THAN ANOTHER COMPANY, BUT I HAVE USED THEM FOR ALL OF THE ROOMS THAT I HAVE CARPETED.

THEY CAME OUT AN GAVE ME A DECENT ESTIMATE. IT WAS BY FAR THE BEST ONE. I DECIDED TO HIRE THEM. THEY CAME OUT AND TOOK MEASUREMENTS AND GOT ON THE JOB REALLY QUICKLY. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THEIR PROFESSIONALISM AND A JOB WELL DONE.

THE SERVICE WAS DONE IN AN OUTSTANDING, TIMELY MANNER. A SALESPERSON CAME TO THE HOME DESCRIBED THE CARPETS, QUALITY, GUARANTEED THE PRICE FOR EACH GROUP AND THE CARPET WAS INSTALLED THE NEXT DAY.

I WOULDNT WANT TO DEAL WITH THEM AGAIN. IM NOT TALKING ABOUT THE WORKERS, BUT THE MANAGEMENT ITSELF JUST GAVE US THE COMPLETE RUNAROUND. THE WORKERS ARE FINE, BUT THE MANAGEMENT DID NOT KNOW WHAT WAS GOING ON. THEY WERE LOUSY AND UNPROFESSIONAL AND I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.

IT WAS OKAY. ID PROBABLY USE THEM AGAIN IF I NEEDED SOMETHING. THEY CLAIM THEY HAVE NEXT DAY INSTALLATION, BUT IT TOOK THEM ABOUT A MONTH. THEY GOT THE CARPET DOWN. IT LOOKS GOOD AND IT HASNT COME UP YET.

IT WAS FAST AND EASY. IT WAS CONVENIENT. THEY CAME TO THE HOUSE. AFTER ONE PHONE CALL THEY CAME OUT THE NEXT DAY. THEY WERE WILLING TO INSTALL IT THE FOLLOWING DAY. WE JUST WERENT READY FOR IT.

EMPIRES SALESMAN WHO CAME OUT WAS FANTASTIC. HE WAS EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND FRIENDLY. THE TWO INSTALLERS VERIFIED THAT THE ORDER WAS CORRECT AND LAID THE CARPET QUICKLY AND PROFESSIONALLY. WE DID NOT WANT METAL OR WOOD STRIPS SEPARATING THE CARPET FROM THE TILE WHICH REQUIRES MORE WORK AND THEY DID THIS IN AN EXCELLENT MANNER.

I THINK IF THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN SOME PROBLEMS THEN I WOULD HAVE KNOWN ABOUT THEM. WE HAVENT HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE CARPET. THEY WERE ON TIME. THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL. THE WORK WAS DONE WHEN IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DONE.

THE MAN CAME AND SHOWED ME THE SAMPLES, AND HE CAME IN AND DID THE WORK THE VERY NEXT DAY, SO I WOULD SAY THAT WAS PRETTY GOOD. I WOULD GIVE HIM AN A.

I ENJOYED DOING BUSINESS WITH THE COMPANY. I WOULD DO IT AGAIN, AND I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO OTHER PEOPLE. THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY CAME OUT AND GAVE ME ADVICE ON WHAT COLORS TO USE AND HOW TO TREAT STAINS IF I EVER GOT THEM. HE TOLD ME WHAT TO DO, AND HE HELPED ME WITH WHAT COLOR DRAPES TO DO. HE WAS JUST VERY HELPFUL.

FIRST OF ALL, THE CONSULTANT WAS VERY NICE AND INFORMATIVE. HE WAS PROFESSIONAL AND GAVE ACCURATE INFORMATION. HE SAID THEY WOULD BE ARRIVING THE NEXT DAY TO INSTALL THE CARPET BUT HE WASN'T SURE OF THE EXACT TIME. THEY CAME AROUND 9:30 AM WHICH WAS WHAT I HAD EXPECTED AND STAYED UNTIL ABOUT 7:00 PM AND INSTALLED CARPETING IN OUR ENTIRE HOUSE. I WAS PLEASED WITH THE MEN WHO ARRIVED TO DO THE WORK. THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL AND FAST. THEY CLEANED UP ALL THEIR MESS AND MADE SURE I WAS SATISFIED WITH THE CARPET. THEY FIXED WHATEVER I WAS UNHAPPY WITH RIGHT THEN AND THERE.
