Description of Work: They installed laminate flooring in my whole manufactured home. The installer is a sub-contractor for Empire Today. They did a very good job. Calvin the salesman for Empire was very social and very knowledgeable. I asked Calvin if he checked back with me during the installation and he said that he would. I did not hear from Calvin during the install. I called and left a message on Calvin's cell phone several days after installation saying I had some installation questions. He never returned my call.

Description of Work: They were punctual, professional and went above and beyond for us. They moved all the furniture for a 3 story house. They initially told us it would take two days yet in the end they were able to finish the job the same day. We are very satisfied with the quality and service. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Description of Work: Carpet removal and installation

Description of Work: The quality of the wood flooring is poor. I choose their top of the line high gloss laminate and when the salesman came out with the samples of the flooring it appeared to be thicker and of much higher quality than when the product arrived. This is a big job my whole house so I did not allow the floor to be put in. I called the salesman and they quickly responded that they would do the job for the same price with " real wood" flooring and that I would be crazy to pass it up. He promptly came back to my house to show me the samples and I chose Caprina Mahogany. I asked and the salesman and he confirmed 3 separate times they would have all the matching moldings for this floor. When they showed up today again the floor did not look like the sample it looked cheap and it is not real wood it is " engineered wood". The installers that came out both times were very courteous and professional and I really did feel bad for them because they get stuck with the p off customer. Empire is not the company if you want hardwood/ laminate flooring. Samples are very deceiving and the sales practice they use is not something I am interested in. They want you to give them the cashiers check BEFORE they start the job!! Glad I did not fork over my $10,200 check!!!

Description of Work: I had two experiences with Empire Today very close together. I have a rental property that had two soiled carpets from a previous tenants dogs. I noticed the first carpet and hired Empire today to replace it. I chose Empire Today since I needed this done quickly. Perry came to my house the next day and fixed me up with a great carpet at a great price. The installation was completed perfectly the following day. I give this first job an A+! A few days later, I noticed another room with a bad smelling carpet and realized it needed replacing to. Naturally, I decided to go with Empire Today again. Perry was not available, so I made an appointment with another agent for the next day. I waited all day for him to show up and then decided to call to see where he was. I found out that he decided to not come since I was too far for him. That was very disappointing since I needed the carpet replaced quickly for my new tenants. I called HQ and was promised that someone would come out the next day. The next day, Perry showed up and took care of me again. He really aims to please. I got a great carpet and price again as Perry was grateful for the repeat business. The carpet installers were different from the previous group, but did a good job. I felt like I needed to watch these guys since some shortcuts were being taken. In the end, I was very pleased with the carpet, the installation and cleanup. I give them an A!

Description of Work: WHITE BERBER CARPET THROUGHOUT THE HOME WAS VERY DIRTY. TECHNICIAN CLEANED CARPETS.

Description of Work: THE WORKER CAME TO MY HOUSE INSPECTED THE HEATER AND DISCUSSED IT WITH THE HOUSE MANAGER AND ME. THERE HE TOLD US WHAT WAS WRONG, BOUGHT A REPLACEMENT AND INSTALLED IT.

Description of Work: PURCHASED CARPET FOR LIVING ROOM AND DEN. THE SELECTION WAS GOOD, AND I LIKED THE IN HOUSE SUPPORT.

Description of Work: I GOT AN ESTIMATE FROM THE GUY, BUT THE DEAL WITH EMPIRE IS THAT YOU HAVE TO CHOOSE FROM THEIR MINIMAL STOCK TO GET THE DEAL. I DECIDED NOT TO GO TROUGH WITH IT BECAUSE THEY DID NOT HAVE A WIDE ENOUGH SELECTION.
