Ori at Eco Design Pro delivered far more than an excellent remodel, he and his team helped us to recover from what every homeowner fears - the incompetent work of a terrible former contractor. You’ve all heard the horror stories, but we lived through one - after 5 months with our previous contractor, we were left with room after room of half-finished disasters and poor workmanship, giving us no choice but to terminate him. Enter our hero, Eco Design Pro - from the initial contact to our first walkthrough of our home, Ori was present, professional, and mindful of details. He was looking at the type of job that few contractors want to handle - fixing someone else’s poor workmanship. While others had backed away from the job, or scared us with their over-estimations of work needed, Ori came to the table with solutions in mind and a calmness. After discussing details, and doing another walkthrough with his foreman, he presented a great bid that was in-line with others we had received. We chose him because of great communication (always quick responses to emails or phone calls) and knowing that he was the owner of the company and seemed to make personal commitments to his jobs. We soon learned that he would be absolutely dedicated to our project throughout. As we learned (in a bad way) before, contractors are only as good as their foremen - and Ori’s foreman was great - respectful, skilled & competent, and on-time every single day. Although Ori is not on-site every day, he would visit at least twice a week to check-in, was always talking to his men at the job site, and was always available - just a text away with any questions. To give you an example of the issues our previous, inept contractor left - he had installed our brand new (not cheap) mosaic floor tile in our bathroom and had put down thin plywood as a sub floor. A month later, all the grout began cracking and the tiles were loose! This was one of about 50 things he botched. Ori and Eco Design Pro held our hands as we faced and uncovered these discoveries/horrors - like having to re-buy all new tile to re-install in two bathrooms. The whole time they did a great job of sticking to their bid, even when some unexpected things arose. Of course, like all home improvements on old houses, issues arise that are beyond the scope of the original bid - you need to expect this. Whenever these came up, we were immediately informed and discussed a solution and price. This was infrequent, and never did we feel like any of these items were out-of-the-blue or unreasonable. When doing work like this, things can change and it is important to be partnering with a contractor who can work with you, and fully understands the process. For example, part of our original bid was to replace our fireplace surround tile and mantle. During the job, we learned that our fireplace needed $12k of work and full replacement to function - this was beyond our budget. We discussed with Ori, and we quickly re-applied those funds to a roofing issue that had arisen during the project. No arguments, no eye rolls, no resistance - just solutions. The Eco Design Pro team worked at a brisk pace, but never overlooked details. They did an excellent job of staying on schedule and only deviated once when a closet door we needed was on backorder - but they came right back and set a date when it arrived. Ori and the Eco Design Pro team offer something beyond great workmanship to their customers, they offer TRUST - and anyone who has done any major home repairs will tell you, that is a rare quality in this industry.

I got a few estimates and although Uri's quote wasn't the cheapest, he was obviously going to be an easy person to deal with, very responsive, genial and professional so I went with him. He told me to allow one month for completion but he said it was unlikely to take that long. Work began almost immediately with taking the old fence out. The new fence went up pretty quickly and is night and day different from what was there before (see pictures). Once that was mostly done, work began on the landscaping of the 'lawn' out front. His guys dug it all up by hand which kind of surprised me, must be hard work! His supervisor for that project was Minor, great guy and very knowledgeable about plants etc. The drip irrigation was installed and they put in the plants I'd chosen at a local garden place. Finally they covered it all up with membrane and bark chips. The last part of the job was to do the paving and that took longer than expected, in part because he had some of his crew call in sick so several days went by with no work being done. However, his man Damon is a maestro with the pavers, he did great work at fitting this jigsaw puzzle together (it wasn't a perfectly square space) and it looks fabulous. Overall it was a very satisfactory outcome and I'm glad I chose Eco Design Pro. My only complaint was how long we had to live with a load of rubble on the driveway and the other side of the garden where there was still living grass. Uri explained that he wanted to be sure that all the trash was together before having it picked up. My preference would have been to have the huge pile of dug-out dirt from the paved area taken away immediately and for the mysterious imported trash to have never showed up at all. However, these were minor irritations and would not put me off of hiring Uri again. He's totally honest and by the book trustworthy. See pictures below of before and after.

He told us that the previous contractor had not installed support beams as needed for this project (The previous contractor was unlicensed.. The EDP employees did an amazing job of getting the new spring ladder framed properly and installed very securely. The end result is also now very aesthetically pleasing!! They also cleaned up when their work was done. I was extremely satisfied with their work and cleanup.

Ori and team are using Angie's deal as a lead generator with no intention of offering the discounted price, instead I was quoted $12000+ for a standard size bathroom. After much requests, Ori offered a breakdown of the quote with items like $900 for wall touch-ups. When clarified that I wanted to see what the deal would do, he mentioned he is not "cheap" and never answered what the deal discount was. While otherwise professional to speak with, not only it wasted 4 weeks of my time to get a detailed quote of the "extras" he recommended and mentioned not to work without them eventually, I see this as deceptive behavior to get customer to pick a discounted deal and offer them bloated quoted to start any work afterwards. Very frustrating from a time loss and effort perspective. I don't think this merchant should be allowed to run these deals.

It looks excellent! I'm very pleased as now my backyard is a useable - and great looking - outdoor space.

Ori and Shay helped plan and decide that pavers were the best way to go. And it looks fantastic! Now I have a great outdoor living space which includes pavers, lights, planting beds with crushed rock and a drip irrigation system. They oversaw all aspects of the job; carting out the two truckloads of dirt and old concrete, putting in the gravel underlayment, then laying the sand and pavers. Even when little problems came up - like with the location of new valves for the drip system - they were able to overcome them quickly and within budget. I'm very happy.

I purchased this deal on 8/10/16. This project was for a shower removal to be replaced with a tub/shower combo. Everything else to remain as is. This provider is very difficult to work with. If I have a question - he brushes me off. If I tell him how I want something set-up, he gets angry yells. I was required to purchase all materials up front despite the materials allowance in the "deal". The tear out/demolition was done on 10/31/16. On this date I met with the contractor and he wanted me to pay him a $700 fee that he was charged for Angie's List services. I believe that was his cost of doing business. Then he wanted $950 to replace a wall that contained a pocket door. Despite the fact that I had already paid for materials and had not received any of the allowance in the deal, I gave him a check for $600. On 11/2/16 a worker installed some plumbing and I was told there was a crack in the sewer pipe so all work would cease until that was fixed and the price was $880 for this repair. Since this line is under the foundation I had to have my Home Owner's Association plumber get involved. The HOA plumber found several issues: the sewer line was fine, the plumbing was incorrect and not safe. I relayed this information to the contractor who proceeded to yell at me again and actually hang up on me. The partial electrical is causing shorts in the rest of the house. Any questions or concerns are met with grand words, but the actions do not follow suit. I believe he is cutting corners since he is "losing money" on this job. I was told to stop complaining as it will "look great when it is finished". I do not trust that he will provide quality workmanship, or use the proper materials. He was informed via email on 11/8/16 that I wanted to cancel this transaction. He responded with the usual words, but I do not trust his workmanship and cannot continue with the bullying.

After interviewing countless flaky contractors, I finally found Ori at Eco Design Pro. They're fantastic. Fast, organized, imaginative, and - above all - professional. It was so nice to have a contractor that showed up, that clearly explained the work and offered suggestions, and that put the payments steps in writing on paper. I'm glad to have found them and will use them again and again in the future.

After interviewing 3 different landscape design companies, we chose ECO design pro Build to do a complete makeover of our entire front and backyard. We are extremely thrilled with the results and our space has been transformed. The designer that working with Ori, Samuel and his entire crew did an amazing job. The project was a little bit extensive because it included the removal of few trees, plants, grass and some rocks in the front and back, concrete and wood deck removal, We needed to pour a new concrete patio, running a new line of gas for a fire pit and BBQ, a custom concrete counter and built-in bench, a natural sandbox built with boulders and logs, and installation of all plants. It took almost 3 months to completely finish this back yard and front yard project, but now our yard is an amazing spot at the house that we enjoy with our friends, family, and children. I have read some comments about so many additional fees that usually been added to any estimate such as design consultation fee, but we felt it was worth the cost even though Ori didn’t charge us much for it anyway. We didn't see it as a fee just to get an estimate. It was an actual design session where the designer gave us so many useful tips, ideas and designs advice mainly for our back yard space. We could have taken those tips and implemented them ourselves, but we liked those ideas so much that it was one of the main reasons why we hired them to create our landscape design and implement it.

we remodeled our kitchen, kept our cabinets and floors but replaced most of the remainder. The results were very good. Our original cabinets were old, but in good quality. We liked the color, so we thought to go with the option of refinishing. The result of that process was exactly what we hoped for. Other than that, we replaced the tile counter top with granite, the sink with built in stainless steel double sink, new 36” cook top, new built in double oven, new spot lighting, and new hood. Overall the work took 2 months. The contractor that we hired for that job was Ori Sakal from ECO design pro and he was an easy person to work with and mainly to deal with – he always stayed in touch about schedules of meetings, deliveries and ordering materials for the work. etc. The few subcontractors that worked at the house (such as electrician and plumber), were jacks of all trades - but very good. There was a problem with the counter top fabricator vendor because he made a mistake with the cutting instructions that Ori gave him, and that causes a small delay of several days. I originally selected ECO design because I liked Ori and his price was very fair compare to the quality of the work and mainly because Ori just took care of everything! I would recommend Ori Sakal from ECO design pro because the following important reasons: 1. He made sure to include everything I wanted in the contract and this causes to avoid any hiding charges that others usually add. 2. He made a check list that contained basically all the items that we agreed on. This helped all of us to know what will be next in the remodeling. 3. Ori recommended me to try and be at the house at the end of each day to I will know and see what was done and what will be done tomorrow. 4. Ori suggested to have the vendor install all the appliances. This was very smart idea because in case something went wrong, the vendor will replace them at no charge and this will solve any problem that might come up during the work.

We had our kitchen reconstruct completely and remodeled by Ori Sakal from ECO design pro and it looks so nice and functional. Ori installed us high quality of kitchen cabinets with all the perfect finishing touches, Ori was able to handle all aspects of the remodeling (such as Color combinations, plumbing fixtures, backsplash, granite, outlets, lighting, appliance selection, etc.) with a knowledgeable and thorough staff. We were able to find a very nice hood for over the range but it was too large for our kitchen. Ori was able to reconstruct the kitchen and walls and to fit it to the kitchen. That's what you get with ECO design pro and Ori Sakal, a guy who knows good kitchen design, and he cares so much about his customer's throughout the project, making sure to work each day and to check that the work is in perfect condition (and no less) and provides a quality final product and mainly give and excellent customer service. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend ECO design pro.

My husband and I purchased our home in last year that needed of lot of remodeling. The house was in a very bad condition and it needed to be fully renovated. From our past experience, we knew how the process was going but we were fully committed to finding the right contractor for this and to get this renovation project going and complete. It pretty sad to see that no one in my family, friends or neighbors were able to refer someone they had used in the past because they had such a bad experience during or after the remodeling. We interviewed pretty much a lot of contractors but we must say that Ori Sakal from ECO design pro was the most honest and pleasant contractor we've met from all the other ones. From the very beginning he told us what to expect and what we need to do before hiring ‘A’ contractor. He initially told us we need an architect to change the structure and layout of the house. We tried to differ from his advice but we realized he was right about hiring the architect. We needed an architect to legally change the structure and layout of our house. Ori invested time to gain our trust by presenting to us some of his previous jobs for reference. His estimate (ECO design pro) was not extremely low which means his work was not low quality but it was not extremely high either. it was in the middle! We believe his price was very fair and reasonable for all the amount of work we required. Now after the work is completes, I can write that I am very happy we decided to hire him for this project. From the moment Ori took over this project, his team has made this process a lot easier for us. they completed the demolition of our home in 4 days which was impressive! They began by leveling out the floors and created the new layout of our home right after. They were knowledgeable, well experienced and they followed all the steps and stages in the plans. Everything that was on paper was coming to life right before our eyes and it was an unforgettable experience. The footing & foundation are very solid, the framing, exterior finishing and the interior finishing were remarkable and used great materials. Overall, his team are highly skilled contractors and I will forever be grateful for their talent and exceptional customer service. His team was extremely professional, respectful, hardworking and reliable individuals. They were always united, always on time and always available to answer our questions. It was such a beautiful, pleasant experience that I will always speak very highly of ECO design pro and I will never trust anyone else other than this team to do work in my house or any other project I may face in the near future.

ECO design pro renewed my house in general contractors - his team of workers did an absolutely amazing work. Here's the story. We purchased a home and once we moved into the house, we realized that there are several issues and things that we needed to repair and replace. More than that, the house turned out to have numerous different issues and was practically no good for us. That's when we started looking for a good contractor to fix the issues and to remodel the house. After meeting with several companies and contractor, we decided to go with my sister’s recommendation… ECO design pro. My sister is an expert researcher and conducted a level of due diligence that's is definitely outside of my skills set. The first weekend that ECO design pro came over to the property and meet with us, he brought along a big projects book that included paint work, carpentry work, kitchens, bathrooms and more. Ori does not play around… he wants the job to be completed as quickly as possible and on the best side. Even more impressive is his team's workmanship. They were absolutely committed to doing the right thing, the first time around… no matter how time consuming it may be. After witnessing a masterclass in efficiency and quality, we signed-on for several other projects with ECO design pro. Ori helped us address numerous defects including: leaky windows, several poor plumbing problems, issues with the garage, incorrectly hung doors, roof issues, etc. I'm a stickler for details, and ECO design pro's team did not disappoint us. We first used ECO design pro in 2011 and this time we didn’t think twice about who we would hire to design and complete the landscape of our new home. Ori Sakal has a keen eye for details and an innate ability to visualize and design a project; he helped us design our landscape by providing ideas and recommendations to make the entire project flow together and suggested unique details which make our project stand out from the rest. My first experience from this remodeling is that if you are cheap and looking for any contractor who is willing to make shortcuts in order to compromise with the quality of the work in order to meet a deadline, then the best advice is to move on and fast! And to understand that this company is not for you. On the other hand, if you're looking for someone professional high end home improvement contractor, then you should definitely consider ECO design pro. I hired ECO design pro (Ori Sakal) to renovate my bathroom. All the people that I dealt with from the moment I called until the job was completed was professional and I could clearly see that they were interested in making life long customers. I had the pleasure of having Ori as the project manager. I am a very picky person and I knew exactly what I wanted to have from this renovation and how I wanted the new bathroom to look like upon completion. Ori impressed me by understanding exactly what I was looking for and he was able to put a gather a great team to renovate my bathroom the way I envisioned. I appreciate the fact that Ori took the time to make sure all material was approved by me before using them for the renovation. I understand that during these renovations it’s likely to encounter some sort of problem during the process, and my renovation was no exception. It was nice to have a good project manager like Ori to be at my house and identifying the problem, and most importantly to come up with a resolution that satisfied me. He closely monitored the renovation and stepped in when he needed to. At the end of the renovation, he did a walk through with me and made sure I was completely satisfied with the work before taking the final payment from me. I had an overall good experience. I was very pleased with the work and service that was provided by Ori. Ori and his team of workers remodeled my master bedroom by replacing the carper, installing a custom fireplace, paint the room, and remodel the master bathroom by replacing all the tiles, vanity, fixtures and plumbing. Ori is very attentive to details and perfection. He did a great job by supervising his people on a daily basis. His total price was very competitive compared to other contractors and mainly there was no hidden charges at the end of the remodeling and his quality of work was exactly what I expected to get for my money! I will recommend him to family and friends as I have been getting a lot of compliments for the work he did. Before Ori start to work at my house, he brought many samples of materials such as tiles and paint and lots of pictures which made the process flow and very easily. Also, his staff were very consistent by making sure that all my needs have been met. He will be my first choice when I will decide to remodel my kitchen as my next project. After having gone through the stressful ordeal of seeking retribution for damages caused by other contractors, I feel compelled to give credit where it's deserved. My husband and I have now dealt with 4 different contractors on various house projects, and only 2 of them produced work that didn't need to be 'fixed' afterwards. One of those contractors was Ori Sakal from ECO design - fast, excellent work and very professional the entire way through. Ori came in a little bit above cost, so we originally didn't go with him. However, we ended up regretting that decision when the contractor we chose turned out to be completely incompetent at leveling our foundation and floors. Lesson learned - you get what you pay for. And even then, sometimes you don't! But with ECO design pro, you absolutely do. These are the types of contractors we want in business.

We had a fantastic experience with Ori and his crew of workers. I wanted to paint my house but I didn’t have an idea of what colors to use. Ori with his knowledge, he was able to provide me with some color samples of how he would paint the house and my selection was pretty easy after I saw them. At the end, his selection of colors came out great. His crew were very polite and professional. Ori even did some extras tasks for me like change out the a/c filter and generally looked around and gave me opinions about house projects that might need to be done. I thought his price was very reasonable as well. Definitely recommend for renovate paint and/or design!

Ori came over to check our pool. We contact him after we had some leaks at the pool and we were losing water. Ori did a complete check and he was able to give us a great price for the repair. After we approved the work, He gave us a date for starting the work and he came over with his guys, providing them with the correct information about what they need to do. The workers (2 in total) employees the pool and did all the patching. After that, they did the new prime and then, they painted the pool with a paint that we selected from the selection that Ori provided us with. Ori is a professional, polite and happy person to work with. He is a hard worker and we are happy to have him fix the pool.

Ori just finished remodeling our master bathroom and bedroom. We needed a complete remodel of our master bath and in the same time, we wanted to replace the carpet in the bedroom and to replace the closet with a new one that can function better for us. In the bathroom we needed the old shower and tub removed and to install a huge shower in its place. From our meeting with Ori, through the design of the room, through the construction, we couldn't be MORE PLEASED AND HAPPY! We trusted everyone associated with this company. We recommend them 100%. The other company we requested a quote from was very unprofessional.

The Best Decision I ever made was to use ECO design PRO. From the initial meeting with Ori till the end of the job I couldn't have asked for anything more. The old bathroom that we had was too old and it was time to bring it to life? We came across Ori from his previous client that we know and we loved the work that he did. The bathroom that we remodeled included new Bath tub and shower, new tiles on the walls and floor, New double sink vanity and of course the new paint. Ori brought 2 teams of workers that each one of them did a different task and he supervised them on a daily basis. The workers made sure to clean up every day and worked on our project from beginning to end to finish exactly when Ori said he will. I was amazed how beautiful everything turned out. It was perfect!

I had two bathrooms completely remodeled with ECO design PRO (Ori). Ori did a great & quality work and delivered 100% on budget. I was concerned about any hidden problems or charges at first, since i had some concern there were few leaking pipes behind the wall that might have caused an issue. Ori and his guys did a thorough probe testing before starting and making their estimates. Everything ended up very well and i got two beautiful new bathrooms, even though it was one week behind schedule but completely on budget which was great thing after all! Our experiences with Ori Sakal (The owner) and the Designer on top of the tradesmen were 100% positive. They took our need to leave in the house a fully functioning bathroom at all time and made it happen (I must mentioned that several other companies told us clearly that it will be 'impossible' to have it when i got an estimate from them - that was also more reasons to what ECO design PRO gave us and lived up to). I am very pleased with our choice and the results.
