Dr. Seal Good Roofing

My garage roof was playing a game of "leak and seek" not once, but twice. My handyman gave it a go, but let's just say he wasn't exactly a roof whisperer. I rang up a bunch of roofers, but they treated my small job like it was invisible - "Too tiny for us," or "Your roof's older than a dinosaur, get a new one!" Enter Dr. Seal. He didn't just have time; he had a cape. Swings by the next day, eyeballs the situation, and whips out an estimate. I'm all thumbs up. So there we were, Sherlock and Watson style, sniffing out every sneaky crack in those shingles. Dr. Seal went full commando on those holes, patching them up like a pro. Fast forward through three days of LA's version of a monsoon, and guess what? Not a single drop of unwanted rainwater in my garage. Dr. Seal for the win! 🎉👍

It went really well. Dr Sealgood knows his stuff. He did an excellent job patching and repairing my old roof using special materials. His prices are good and he is a nice guy. I wholeheartedly recommend him to other homeowners.

He promised to be on site within an hour and was prompt. Over the phone he quoted 350-475. When he arrived and got on the roof and examined the area he said it would be the 475. I felt a little cornered in that it was basically raining inside my house and I was desperate to have it fixed immediately so i didn't have the luxury of negotiation. One thing that made me uncomfortable was that he said I could not watch what he was going to do to fix the leak, because he didn't want me to know his secrets. When I am going to pay someone 475$ I feel like I should be able see what they are going to do. In the end he did the work quickly and offered a warranty of coming out 2 more times this winter if it starts leaking again. Since it has rained a few times and no sign of any leak. So whatever he did it worked.

We called Bob and many other roofers listed by Angie's 24 hours before the rain was coming to fix a leak in our roof. All the other roofers were either unavailable on such short notice, or wanted to send out someone to make an estimate, and then could not commit to finishing the work before the rain. Bob was available immediately, a straight shooter, told us the price in advance, and then spent at least an hour going over every little nook and crevice on the roof with sealant. This is the 2nd time we have had to repair a leak in a new roof caused by 2 skylights (the previous repair was done by our terrible house insurance company "Fidelity") and sure enough, the rain came and we had no leaking whatsoever. A month and many rains later and we are still dry. He even called a few days later to confirm all the repairs were done right. He was able to assure us that the new (2 yrs) roof was OK, but had a few problem spots which he addressed. He's very trustworthy, and we would definitely call him again if we have any trouble in the future.

We had a major roof leak during during the rain storms that occurred recently and called a couple of roofing contractors. The first contractor gave us an estimate that was much higher than expected. We then called Bob at Dr. Seal Good Roofing and he not only showed up that same day, but informed us that we would not need a new roof and that a simple leak repair is all that was needed. We hired him on the spot and he fixed the leak quickly and we have had no problems since.
