Designer Kitchen

The work went beautifully. Designer Kitchens, Simon Nofar (contractor), Jorgê Martinez (designer), Johnella Ellis (office manager) and all assigned workmen acted professionally and expertly throughout. The work was done with minimum disruption in the circumstances. I was extremely pleased with the results and the time within which everything was completed.

We love Designer Kitchens because they do what they say they are going to do. They are not the cheapest bid but they are so professional and do a lovely job. All of the staff has been there for years and it feels like you are part of large, loving family. We have recommended them to many friends, all with good results. One of our best construction experiences and we won't use anyone else.

For the most part, the experience was very good. Designer Kitchens is a very small company and they take only about 12 to 24 jobs a year. They said that they were going to be done in 6 to 8 weeks, and they were done in 9 weeks. We had a cabinet break in transit and that was not their problem. Moreover, I held them back from doing one set of work because I thought that they were getting the job out of order. They could have pushed it a week earlier, but under the circumstances, I think we were happy with their work. We didn?t really compare prices because our main concern was to get someone who could do the entire job in-house. We went to another place and they wouldn?t let us interview the contractors till we signed up with them, and so we walked out of the place. We talked to references and they were all happy. There were little glitches along the way but they were very good about fixing them up. They were very responsive to issues. I suspect that their price was a little bit higher than some but considering that we were out of the kitchen for about 8 weeks, it was a good experience overall.
