De Vera Air Conditioning

This is the 3rd time we have used Randi. He is punctual and does a good job. Will continue to use him to service our a/c.

The people they sent out were quick and really smart. They did a great job.

They did a pretty good job. They were very conscientious. They came up with good ideas as to where to put the ducts and followed through. They were always on time and got the job done. They were professional and responsive. The quality of service was good.

My central heating went bust 2 days ago (ignition module died) and some HVAC guy came yesterday, had no idea what the problem was but told me it'd be like $700 or even more, "who knows?" Freezing and bordering on desperation, I then went through Angie's List and was referred to DeVera by another company that was booked up. DeVera came out THE SAME DAY (at one of their busiest times of year, day before xmas!). They were appalled at what they found - the result of previous HVAC repair people sent by my ex home warranty company (stay away from them!!): loose wires and completely messed up circuitry, which was the culprit for the ignition module and transformer blowing out, and overall total lack of maintenance (for which I paid these rude, thoroughly unprofessional Russian jerks from before!). They couldn't get over how messed up the whole thing was, they showed me and it was obvious they weren't making anything up. What really impressed me beyond measure was the care they put into their work, their obvious knowledge and professionalism. Right away they knew what the problem was, and they showed me and explained it all very clearly to me. They came back with the parts bright and early the next morning as promised, and unlike most repair people, went beyond their call of duty and gave the system a thorough maintenance overhaul. And they are courteous and civilized to boot! Wow, imagine that, people that both KNOW and CARE about what they're doing, AND have manners! Oh yes, and they speak PERFECT ENGLISH, people!! The cherry on the cake was how incredibly reasonable they were: $286.50 for everything, parts included, of which only $70 was labor!! I can't recommend these guys enough. I'm so happy I found them. And they're local to where I live too! Look no further, these guys are AWESOME.

Everything went perfect with the exception of one duct that is located in an inaccessible location under the house. I did not find out about this till I started looking under the house after one of the rooms in the house did not have any heat. I contacted De Vera and they came back out to look at the situation but could not find a way into the area. I only wish they had mentioned this before they left. Aside from that everything was done on time and per the estimate. I plan to use them if I can find a way to replace the missing duct.

The project began the very next week after signing the contract and a four-man crew worked smoothly and efficiently to complete everything within two and a half days, including patching up, clean up, and testing the system.

IT WAS EXCELLENT. AFTER DEALING WITH TWO OTHER COMPANIES WHO WEREN'T ABLE TO FIX IT, THEY WERE ABLE TO FIX IT AT A FRACTION OF THE PRICE. ALSO THE OTHER COMPANIES GAVE US A WRONG DIAGNOSIS.
