DAVID THOMPSON

He insisted on having 3 people @ $800 dollars a day. One of them was a teenage boy who did nothing except carry trash out in a 5 gallon bucket. He would do this and then be down in the garage for 10-15 minutes presumably emptying this enormous bucket. Thompson was teaching the other one. On MY time. He bought supplies which should be part of his business and tried to get me to pay for them. Things like masking tape and cleaning rags, face masks, eye protectors, latex gloves and 3 of those 5 gallon orange buckets and more and then was surprised when I wanted the buckets to stay here! He waaay over bought things like screws, drywall and compound and tried to take it with him. I fired him after 3 days and did not pay him for the third. HIS electrical work was terrific. HIS drywall was terrific. I found out that the two others were related to his wife and she was after him to give them a job. I was supposed to pay for his on the job training. He also assumes if you are Anglo, you do not speak Spanish and will talk about you to his wife while you are in the room. He is not straightforward and I heartily do NOT recommend him UNLESS you can just get DAVE and only DAVE to come and do the work. Otherwise a rip off.

It seems to me that David can do almost anything. He is confident, which really stands out, along with his professional attitude. He is pricey but the high quality of the work that he does makes it worth the extra dollars.
