Description of Work: I've been working with the Creating Clarity team for several years and they have helped me move a parent into a new home, my daughter to and from college and my home during renovations. We had two jobs . The first was the packing and removal of 70 boxes of high quality books. Creating Clarity made arrangements for a charity that specializes in book disposition to come pick up the books after they took care of packing them. We felt good that they would go to a good cause. Next they tackled our garage. In one day a 4 car garage filled with stuff is now clean and clear. Jamie and Jaime helped me make decisions about what I needed to keep, what should be donated and what was junk. They brought in Mario and his crew (they were amazing) who knew exactly where to take donations (with tax receipts), recyclables, and trash. Then Jamie and Jamie organized what was left. We were feeling overwhelmed by the clutter and could never have done this ourselves. We highly recommend Creating Clarity.
Description of Work: They led the removal of books and bookcases from our library and directed the cleaning and organizing of our garage. Costs includes both organizing services provided by Creating Clarity and hauling and moving services provides by Mario's Hauling and Moving (arranged by Creating Clarity).

It couldn't have gone better from the first meeting to scope out what I might do, through the final step which was to connect me to a contractor who could handle wireless problems I was having. They referred me to another contractor who was also excellent who helped put shelving into a closet. I would use them again for anything related to setting up an office or organizing life.
Description of Work: Pamela and her team are the reason I have a home office that I love. They helped me convert a guest room into a home office that could also double as a guest room. We started from scratch--laying out the best use of the space, and figuring out furniture, equipment and supplies needed, etc. Once we jointly planned what I wanted, Creating Clarity got the job done, ordering all the things I needed to buy and then actually putting the home office together. Pamela, Jamie, and the others in the crew are great listeners, very organized (!), efficient and totally professional, and motivating without being condescending. They were really great.

I have used Creating Clarity for 4 of my moves over the years. I hire them because they know what they are doing, are punctual, professional, efficient and are good at helping me edit out items I no longer use. At this point I just hand them my keys, tell them I am moving and they will come in to pack everything, coordinate with their moving company, unpack and organize my new home. They take care of any permits needed, bringing things to be shredded, the dump, donation, etc. They coordinate with my designers to decide on custom furniture for functionality as well as style. They make sure the designers have everything they need to get their end of the project completed in a timely fashion as well. I completely trust their skills in organizing and know where everything is when I move in because of their detailed labeling. I am able to continue focusing on my work while knowing everything in my move is in good hands! I would highly recommend Creating Clarity for anyone that is going to be moving and doesn't want to have to deal with the stress of it!

Creating Clarity was great! I started using them because my boss had previously used them on a move. When I started working with her she needed to utilize their services again which is when I met crew. I needed to facilitate my boss's move along with managing the normal day to day items I take care of. Pamela and her team of organizers came in knowing exactly what needed to be done and how to get it done in the time we had. They packed up everything, coordinated with their excellent moving company, unpacked everything at the new place and organized my boss's new home. They also brought things to donation for us and provided us with a tax deductible receipt. They purchased items to help keep the new space organized as well as assembled shelving to go into the garage. I will always use Creating Clarity for future relocations because they made it easy for me to focus on what I needed to for my boss without needing to micromanage the process.

i can not say enough about creating clarity. i found them through our interior designer who has used them on many projects. they were always professional, pleasant to deal with but most importantly they did an incredible job. they assessed our move-in needs which included sorting through storage, donating to salvation army and listing items that we no longer used on craig's list. once construction was completed they were ready to move us in in a very organized manner.they brought in and managed a great cleaning crew to rid our house of dust. they cleaned every corner and book shelf. they organized our bathrooms, closets and kitchen. after 3 days our home looked like we had lived in our home for 6 months. they work well with contractors and designers and will accommodate the needs of others to make the homeowner have a stress free experience. in addition, they sort through paperwork and will maintain your household organization beautifully on a maintenance program if needed. creating clarity has a strict nondisclosure agreement that all employees sign providing the utmost in privacy with regards to paperwork and lifestyle.
Description of Work: they managed and coordinated details over the last 10 months while we completed our remodel. this job included coordinating schedules with the contractor and all other vendors as we completed a very difficult remodel. creating clarity moved and organized our home after construction was completed. they also organized all of our paperwork and items in storage prior to moving in.

Five stars and a grade of A++++ isn't high enough. Not only do the Creating Clarity representatives do excellent work, they do it with a very friendly, positive and encouraging attitude. They are extraordinarily conscientious, reliable-plus, responsive to every text and call, and -- of course -- organized! Every time I've asked CC for help in locating an item or folder that had been packed up in a hurry, they've never failed to locate it for me. Quit a feat.
Description of Work: We originally retained Creating Clarity to help with some basic home organizing and then, literally, the flood gates opened in our house and we found ourselves dealing with major water damage and having to clear rooms on an emergency basis. Creating Clarity to the rescue! The crew labeled, packed, reorganized an entire office (and later the kitchen, laundry room, family room, den, etc.) quickly and professionally. They have also coordinated with my contractor and designer with the utmost professionalism to keep us all moving forward and me sane! While my house is topsy-turvy they have also helped me sort through items in two other locations and delivered several carloads of donated items, again coordinating with the donation recipient organizations. We are still working together as this is a long process of remediation and reconstruction. I couldn't make it through this ordeal without them! They are the sunshine and rainbow after the flood!

I HIGHLY recommend this service. My wife and I were recently married and moved in to my smallish apartment. Without Pamela's help, I would be probably shopping for a larger and more expensive apartment already. With her help, our place is extremely organized and livable. I have to say it was also nice to have a third-party help the two of us organize and help decide where to put things - takes the potential arguing out of it. This was seriously some of the best money I've ever spent. She was punctual, flexible, professional, and very trustworthy. Give it a shot!

Description of Work: I recently moved from my home of 18 years to a slightly smaller home. I accumulated a lot of "stuff" during that time. I was ready to shed items that I no longer needed, but it was not easy. I was very overwhelmed when I arrived at my new home. That is where Creating Clarity came in. Pamela and Jamie have done an AMAZING job to create clarity in my life and home. They started by unpacking boxes one room at a time and worked with me on what stayed, donated, sold or threw away. They were very sensitive to my feelings during the process. They also helped to set up my home with the placement of furnishings, art work etc.,etc.,etc. Everything was put away in closets and drawers in a very organized manner and labeled. Containers for drawers were purchased and, as I said, everything was labeled. They took the items I donated to the facility. They also took care of posting the items I sold. I also decided to have them help me with organizing my desk and files.......WOW, I'm so glad that I made that decision too. Pamela and Jamie are unbelievably punctual, reliable and just all around the BEST. I never could of imagined having my home completely situated, organized and so cozy in all of ONE MONTH!!!!! I am completely satisfied with everything that Pamela and Jamie have done and I highly recommend them. I know I will use them in the future to maintain what they have created in my life.

I told her what my problem was and she told me what she could do for me and it sounded great. She spent 6 straight hours with me going through my piles of paperwork and bills that I had accumulated. She got everything organized down to a small filing cabinet. She made my life easier and told me what I needed to keep and what I needed to throw away. I liked her demeanor and I trusted her. For what she did, I thought the price was good and I would have paid twice as much. I would give her an A+.

Description of Work: Pamela and Jamie went above an beyond anything I expected when I agreed to hire Creating Clarity to manage my move from one apartment in Los Angeles to another. They are friendly, smart, compassionate and as physically capable as any three men. If there was anything that needed to be done that was outside their purview, they knew who to call for advice and/or assistance. Most important: They were always prepared and organized taking the time to study a situation before acting, thereby saving valuable time. They turned out to be talented in so many ways, that after a while I assumed they were capable of getting anything done. Moving is one of the most stressful things in life. Some people take it well, but I usually take to my bed - and did. My absence seemed to increase their efficiency. They were not inexpensive but I'm sure they are willing to work within anyone's budget. They seem to thrive on a challenge. I think they were worth every dollar I spent. Je ne regrette pas rien.

I feel like I know where everything is. I feel clear and I can breath freely without that hovering energy of "being piled on." I have been able to get more done in faster time and a motivation to finish projects. Description of Work: My desk area has been chaotic since I created a home office to work out of (2006.) I could not work productively or efficiently. I always misplace things and my unorganized ways were frustrating me...so much that I got a thought one day to google "professional organizers" or something like that. I came across "Creating Clarity." I resonated with the website immediately. Even the name of the company sounds serene. I called and the experience was everything I expected and didn't expect. I learned how to categorize and keep things where they belong and organized like things with like things. That way it's easy to find. My desk and office space is more comfortable and my productivity is at a high, everything seems easier and faster and definitely less chaotic. A few bags of paper and old receipts and forgotten items were tossed away and that felt great. All that clutter I was surrounding myself with was causing frustration and chaos that was uneccessary and causing me not to be efficient and unorganized.

Description of Work: I have hired Creating Clarity many multiple times since I first found them in June of 2008. I have to say that life as a new parent was dramatically improved by the team. I am a business owner and my partner husband has a very seriously busy schedule. From a home management point of view I do things very solo. Creating Clarity has become a fixture in my peace of mind. I have had the team from Creating Clarity organize my office, my son's room, my closets, my cellar, hang artwork and towel racks and guitar hooks and curtains, as well as completely makeover my garage into a studio while managing a contractor/electrician to do some minor improvements to make that possible, manage client holiday gift mailings (over 50 clients), wrap and ship family gifts, make travel arrangements, replant my container garden to name a few. I have relied on Creating Clarity to help me get organized for tax filings for the last 3 years. I have had the team there help me prepare for international travel, running errands, as well as have me get my home back in order after a trip when things piled up to an unreasonable level, including target runs, grocery shopping, laundry folding. Not their main business model, but when I needed help to create order I was so relieved to have a call to be able to make. I have an extremely high level of trust with the women I have had working in my home who are around my young son, and in my office with my business and financial life filed all around them. I felt safe enough after a few visits to have them in my home even when I am not there which is saying a lot. The attention to detail is incredible and everyone I have worked with has had *good energy.* I am particular about that because it is after all my home. I cannot say enough good things about them. The cost of paying for organizing and for creating order out of personal chaos has been worth every penny and then some. My only regret is that I can't afford their services more often. I literally sleep better knowing salvation in a phone call away.

I recently moved from an apartment with abundant closet space to a larger house with very little closet space. As a result, my home office was a disaster; I had cut a path to walk from the door to the desk, but otherwise the floor was covered in clutter, and I could only barely get into the office closet, which was used in the least efficient way I can imagine. I looked up professional organizers, and after calling several in my area, Pamela Morency's Creating Clarity was the most competitively priced, and she was the only one who offered to come in and take a look around to evaluate the situation. She offered to have her team start working on it just four business days later, which was also the soonest any of the organizers were able to start! After three days in my home, Pamela and her team felt like friends, which is good, because they had access to all my most personal information in my files, photos, and other documents. The office is unrecognizable from when they started (in a good way!), and I have an organizational system that ensures no new clutter builds up, because everything has a home. As part of their service, Creating Clarity took care of getting things out of my house and over to the proper locations for recycling (including electronics), charitable donations, eBay sales, and shredding. At the end of the last day, Pamela had a few minutes to spare, so she organized my hall closet for me and gave me some ideas for other areas in the house! And when I find myself with items that I'm unsure about, I often ask WWPD (What Would Pamela Do?). After working with Creating Clarity, documents are easy to find, things get done on time, my taxes were a breeze to prepare, and I can always see the top of my desk and the floor in my office!

Creating Clarity came on a short notice to help me unpack and organize all the rooms in my home including setting up a filing system. They helped me to purge items that I could not fit into a smaller space, containers to help me create clarity in my cabinets and closets. They provided an attractive organizational system and clear recommendations on what to do on our own to stay organized. They designed a layout for my furniture that gave me more living space. The way Creating Clarity set everything up, my home is now user-friendly and I actually find it really easy to keep up. They are awesome, committed to their work and not afraid to make suggestions.
