Computer Palace

My husband and I have purchased our computers from Computer Palace for over a decade. Navid custom builds our computers. The price is extremely reasonable. Another reason that we continue to go there is the superb and responsive service when anything goes wrong. I needed a new printer because my eight-year-old computer had died a month earlier, and my old printer could not be made to work with the new PC (Windows 7) that Navid had built for me.

I brought my laptop computer in early in the week after spilling orange juice (primarily on and indirectly under the keyboard). I indicated my primary need was to retrieve all my files, and secondarily to be able to use my computer. The representative indicated they would diagnose the situation and try to clean the computer. They had the computer a few days; I called and learned that it had been cleaned and dried as much as possible and needed a new keyboard, but that I could pick it up that day with a loaner keyboard so I could use the computer while they were waiting the addition 4 or 5 days for the new keyboard. (I immediately backed up all my files). I paid for the work at that time. I was called 4 days later, when the keyboard arrived, and was told it would take about half an hour to replace. I have been able to use the computer, tho it has a few quirks (since I didn't expect to be able to use the computer at all, these quirks are minor and acceptable). Hourly rates were posted, and the number of hours I was charged for were fewer than I had expected. I'm quite satisfied.
