Shawn has helped me replace my A/C at my old condo as well as my entire A/C & Heating in my new home. All the work has been exceptional. Shawn is great to work with and will always be calling in the future for any issues.

We needed to replace our old heater, and got estimates from several companies. All were totally acceptable, with some differences in price, brand and what was included. We went with SL home Designs for several reasons, including good reviews from friends, and that the price included everything we wanted, without having to deal with extra charges. Also, we really gave a lot of thought to which of the companies we'd want to have a long term relationship. So we far are completely satisfied. They were experienced and well informed and able to answer all our questions. The guys who came to do the work were efficient, clean, and finished earlier than expected. The office staff over the phone was great.

I originally only planned to have the air ducts cleaned, but after Shawn’s pre-inspection, it turned out I needed the pipes replaced. Since my place is 34 years old, I decided to have the work done. Shawn seemed very knowledgeable in his feel of business, so I decided to have him do the work. I was so pleased with his work and professionalism, I decided to have them install an air conditioner too. Everyone was very professional and I am very pleased with their work.

Excellent customer service.. owner replies to messages fast. Service tech was great! Very friendly, professional took off his work boots before entering my home. He took his time to do the job right. I can tell he takes pride in his work. He was very careful to clean up after his work and careful when moving his equipment around my home not to bump into walls. I like that he took pictures with his cell phone so he could show me and explain to me the work he did.

SL Home Designs was supposed to clean our air vents. They came and quoted my wife $800 to clean the furnace they said was dirty, and did not clean any vents. I did not get a refund of the $79 because I requested it 2 weeks after the expiration. We were disappointed that I paid for the Big Deal and did not get any service or refund.

This company came by after I found their number online and called them to get a quote on insulating a home i am working on. Shawn called me after i reached out to him and set up an appointment to meet me the same day. When he came up, i noticed his tape measure and notepad. to me that means he was ready to get to work. I told him what i was looking for and we started measuring the area of what i want insulated. we agreed to a price and shawn did the work with his crew in 1 day. he brought the insulation he promised and nicely installed it. he also told me how i can quality for rebates from the gas company to get some money back. overall i was more than satisfied with his services and i have 2 more houses he will be working on in the near future.

I had a termite company come out and told me my ducts were bad and torn. So i searched online for a company and sl came up. I called them on on friday and they came on monday. yesterday they replaced all my ducts and cleaned my furnace and got everything new inside my attic. they were quick and professional. shawn worked hard and gave me a very competitive price.

A quick search on yelp for air condition contractor and sl came up. we had another company come out 3 days before and quoted us 6,000 for a brand new system and they said the fan was grinding against the metal and it was dangerous. my husband wanted to get another opinion so we had shawn come out and check it out. right away he told me that the fan was in good condition and nothing was scraping and he took a video on his phone to show me also. i thought i would have to spend 6000 now in christmas to replace the ac but shawn was honest and told us that it only needed minor work and a cleaning. so he took care of it and its quieter now and works better. his price was less than half to fix everything. i appreciate his honesty and not using scare tactics to try to upsell us on something we didnt need.

excellent excellent! I called shawn monday monring and monday afternoon he was at my house. Our dryer wasnt working properly so he cleaned out the pipe and recommended some other things. He spent time explaining and checked to make sure after he finished that everything was working. Cant wait to use this company again!!

They came to give me a quote on insulation and vents in my attic. Shawn came over the same day I called and we discussed options and pricing. A few days later he came back with his crew and they worked from about 9am to 5pm and got everything done in one day. Hardworking crew, cleaned up after themselves and kept my house clean. Shawn was friendly and is a good guy and easy to work with

Shawn came by to clean out my dryer vent and air vents in my house. He did a great job getting all the lint out of my dryer vent and took out a lot of dust in my air vents. He replaced my filter for no extra fee. He inspected everything before and gave me a recommendation to replace my insulation because its low. My Husband and I are thinking about it right now and will probably end up going with him to do the job. Great first impression and honest person.

We recently bought our house, and soon realized that the attic insolation and AC vents needed to be replaced with new ones. A friend of mine recommended SL Home, and I'm so glad that she did. I had a very dedicated and personal experience with both the office staff, and the team who came to do the work. They were professional, friendly, and neat. I couldn't stress how important that last detail was for me, and I was truly impressed by the effort they put into cleaning up after themselves. I got three different quotes for this project and their price couldn't be beat. They also offer a warranties! Above all that, it took only a week from the time they came out to give me an estimate, to the job being completed.

There was a weird smell coming every morning before we opened for business and we couldn't figure out what it was so I went on google and searched vent cleaning and SL popped up. I gave them a call and told them the situation. Shawn came by the same day to take a look at it. There was a dead rat in the ductwork!!! Shawn showed me pictures and I was like this needs to be taken care of right away. So I set up an appointment with Shawn the next morning to come by to clean all the vents and change my filter. He put some sanitation in the vents also and closed the area where the rats were coming in. Shawn was quick to respond and quick to take action to help us. Were a business and cant have that smell. He's coming to my house on Dec 1st to do a cleaning as well. I would highly recommend this company and will be glad to be a reference to anybody that has any questions.

Shawn did a fantastic job! He was professional and honest in every way. He explained that we had asbestos which needed to be removed and had to come out four different times before the asbestos removal company finally completed their work properly so he was able to do his. He was kind, patient, and repeatedly honest about what was going on with the asbestos removal. He is very knowledgeable and gave so much of his time and attention to our problematic situation. We are so grateful to him for everything and will definitely be using him again! We now have clean and asbestos free ducts thanks to his work and honesty. Can't say enough good things about his work and him. Don't look anywhere else. Hire him and know he is a straight shooter and will tell you the truth and be extremely fair on the price.

Shawn came up on 11/14 to give me an estimate to replace my air vents in the attic. They were torn apart and chewed up from rats. He went over the work, showed me pictures of the new vents and gave me a competitive price to replace them. Him and his crew came on Friday and got it done in 6 hours. They were clean and covered the work area with plastic. They were friendly and Shawn also brought lunch for me and my husband.

Shawn did an amazing job cleaning the air ducts and dryer duct and furnace cleaning. When he was done cleaning he vacuumed and cleaned up. Hes coming out on Friday to my mothers house in Alhambra to give an estimate for cleaning and replacing some stuff.

Shawn just came by to my house this morning. I called him last week to set up an appointment after finding them online. He cleaned out my air vents and my dryer. My dryer was having issues heating up the clothes. After he cleaned the vent he showed me all the lint and we ran the dryer for 15 minutes with wet clothes to make sure it works. Overall great and straight forward. This company is on my top providers list.

I highly recommend this company. Very professional and explained all the details of the job that needed to be done for the insulation and airduct cleaning. Our technician, Shawn was very friendly and knowledgeable. Will be doing the work tuesday

SL Home Designs, Inc came by stating he couldn’t clean my air ducts due to them being made of fiber glass offering to replace the vents for $3500. I have had other companies clean my vents in the past, so I know there is nothing wrong with my air ducts. I feel he is a total scammer. I called Angie’s List back for a refund of the air duct cleaning I purchased with this company and will not recommend them to anyone.

He told me I needed approximately $3000 of new ductwork and could not perform any work. I had a second opinion who said my air ducts were fine and did not need replacing or cleaning.

Greati we need to reschedule appointment after asbestos removal is determined and possible removal.

I purchased a deal through living social back in May to have my dryer cleaned out but scheduled to have it done in October. Shawn came by yesterday and cleaned out my dryer vent. He was quick and got all the lint out of the vent. Dryer is working better now also. I had him check my air vents. We had a fire here in the hills last year and Shawn saw some black dust around the vents. So he cleaned my air vents for me also. In and out in 2 hours. Great job and friendly guy. Gonna have him come back for a furnace maintenance scheduled for December when it cools down a little bit.
