They came to the house on time on the scheduled date to begin service. However after inspecting our air duct system they were not able to perform the service because we have

SL rep claimed he could not do the duct cleaning, as my ducts were too deteriorated. He gave me a quote to completely replace the ducts. Other HVAC firms viewed the ducts, and they said that the ducts did not need replacing, but they could do it anyway if I wanted. Their quoted prices were substantially below SL Home designs quote. I feel like SL's objective was not to clean the ducts, but to give them an opportunity to sell a higher priced service. I should get a refund of $79.00

The company and I made an appointment. Their man came on time. He cleaned out that which could be cleaned out. Explained what blockages could not be cleaned out and recommended an alternative.

It took about an hour to complete the project and it went very well.

They did indicate on the first visit that they could not perform the original cleaning due to the damage to the air ducts. I originally decided to just have the attic cleaned, but eventually decided to have the air ducts replaced. Generally did a fantastic job. S & L is very excellent at customer relations. They seem concerned about the work they do. Any problems that came up were dealt with a professional manner. I think this buttresses the other reviews that I read. I will probably need to replace some other things in the attic like the fan, and the device that operates the bathroom fan. I would not hesitate to contact this company for this work.

They were great! They communicated well, were professional, polite, and punctual. We were not able to continue with the service due to asbestos.

Needed to get my insulation replaced. I called this company after finding them here and on other sites. Shawn scheduled an appointment with me to give me a free estimate. When he arrived, we went into the attic together and he saw asbestos in the ductwork as well. We took pictures of hard to see areas and showed them to me when we went down. Shawn quoted me a very reasonable price to remove my old insulation, replace my duct work and clean my HVAC unit. It made a huge difference in my air quality in my house. Excellent service and very professional work! I absolutely recommend his services.

I called S.L Home Designs after hearing about them from other Angie's List members. I needed to get my old insulation in my attic taken out and install new insulation because I am trying to sell my house and the inspector said I needed to get this done. I scheduled an appointment with Shawn and he came out 3 days after I spoke with him. He went into my attic and took pictures of it to show me what was going on. I decided to let Shawn have the job and he arrived the following day with his crew to perform the work. They removed all the old insulation, sanitized the attic, sealed all the rat holes, and installed new insulation in my attic. He was very professional and very clean throughout the whole process and I'm glad I made my decision to go with his company. I will definitely refer him to my friends. Shawn and his team arrived at my house at 9:00 exactly, and finished in 4 hours. On time start and finish. When the job was done, all of the old ducting was gone, every thing was clean and tidy. My house and system are old, they did a great job They showed me the motor, it was sooo dirty, and had pieces of the old ducting stuck in it, and an old ribbon from a balloon wrapped in circles. The motor was spotless when it was re installed. The AC system works quieter, and the house cools faster now too. i also think that there is less dust in my house now i am very pleased with this project.

After having two other estimates i called S.L Home designs to give me an estimate for replacing my air ducts. Shawn was very quick to respond to me and set up an appointment to come out and give me an estimate. When he arrived he preformed a full inspection on my ducts. Then provided me with pictures of clearly visible damages. He explained the process of replacing them for me. The next day him and his crew arrived and quickly and professionally preformed all the work that was discussed on the contract. i was blow away by Shawn's professionalism and knowledge about the work that he was doing for me and i would recommend him highly to any one who needs work done on their home! I had Shawn come to my home to perform an Air duct cleaning service. He was very informative and explained to me exactly how the process would be done. Included in the cleaning was an inspection of my Furnace and AC unit. Shawn checked the fan blades on the motor, the heater, the filters and the freon levels. He was very friendly, very professional and very affordable. I highly recommend his service.
