The service person arrived with no equipment. His goal was to sell a high price duct replacement. He did not perform the duct cleaning service.

Shawn and his crew installed R-30 insulation in my attic (there was basically nothing there to insulate) at an extremely competitive price. They worked hard all day and even brought me panda express! Shawn cuts through the BS pretty quickly; no fake phone calls or slimy sales tactics. The one litmus test that I'm always looking for is a contractor's willingness to turn down work that isn't needed; even when they are the sole beneficiary. He had many opportunities to exploit me as a new home-owner, but because he is an honest hard-worker interested in long-term relationships, he earned my business. It's also nice to know that he has a general contractor's license and his family is in the business. It allows him to see the big picture in ways a larger corporation with bureaucratic blinders cannot. As a new home-owner up to my eyeballs in bills and novel problems, that's invaluable. Highly recommended.

I called after seeing the deal they were offering for unlimited vents air duct cleaning. We set up a time for them to come out and do the cleaning. They were very clean, fast and good workers. Pictures of before and after were taken and you can definitely see the difference. Overall a great experience.

It went great and was very professionally done.

Nothing was ever done which was why I asked for me money back.. The contractor found out 5 mins after arriving to my house that my heat tubes in attic were older and contained asbestos material.. So after he sent me the photo's, he left and then sent me a bid for the removal of these heating tubes from attic.. I'm waiting until I have the $$$ for this expensive job. Please refund the heating service money that I paid since the heating service never happened. Thanks Kelly Scherm

Purchased the deal from Angies list for the cleaning of the furnace and AC. Shawn called me to schedule the appointment and came a few days later to perform the service. They were Very helpful with explaining the process and providing pictures before and after of the work that was done. I can feel the difference in the better air quality of my home. Highly recommended. Thanks for the help

The man who came whose name is Roberto, said that he could not clean my vent ducts because "they are insulated by fiberglass". He then proceeded to suggest a change in insulation costing $4000.00. I declined the offer. He tried to convince me and offered $3500.00. I declined. Then he offered to clean my furnace for $400.00. I declined. I was very disappointed and disgusted by this. I definitely not going to use them.

He cleaned very thoroughly and then advised us that we had rat hair and feces and said he could stay and do more work. He was very thorough.

Love this company! Super easy to work with, very punctual and personable. Did a fantastic job and will definitely hire him again. Thanks Shawn! :)

Service was great. Will probably hire again to do more regular maintenance instead of waiting 8 years to get cleaned.

We didn't end up selecting them for our remodel as their prices were higher than most but the designer was friendly and had some good ideas.

Shawn and I agreed on a time. He actually called me and asked if he could come a little earlier. Showed up on time. Very professional young man. Provided the service on the special and recommended extra deep cleaning. We agreed on a price, work was completed on same day. All is good.

Great. Show up on time, performed the work as promised.

Company rep (Roberto) told me that the work could not be done because the existing ductwork was broken. He then took photos and showed me where the major duct was broken. His estimate(s) of cleaning/fixing the attic and ductwork varied at different times because he called his boss often & gave lower estimate prices to me, but no specifics as to what actual work would be done or not done with the lower costs. When I stated that I would get other estimates he made more calls to his boss. This felt very much like a bait & switch job. The final estimate sent email by the boss, Shawn Levy, was $6500.00. I received follow-up calls from the rep and I declined service, but twice requested a refund of $79. No response to date from them.

It went very well. A minor scheduling problem caused a need to reschedule the first appointment, but I was notified by text prior to the appointment, and handled professionally. Roberto showed up and cleaned out the vent thoroughly and in good time. He was friendly and professional. The vent that needed to be cleaned out was about 15 feet long, and the price was fair and as quoted.

Well Roberto, the technician, told us about a lot things that needed to be done. I agreed completely. Roberto was very professional, courteous and nice. I needed to do some price comparisons before we wanted the other work to be done. Although the price of the vent and duct cleaning was excellent and they did a great job.

S.L Home Designs replaced my old attic insulation with new R30 Insulation. They did an excellent job from the beginning prepping my house making sure not to get any dust on my furniture. After they finished, they did an excellent job cleaning up and provided me with before and after pictures of the work that was performed. Shawn is very knowledgeable and really takes the time to explain the process of the work. Not to mention very nice and easy to work with. Definitely recommend working with this company.

Amazing job. They used industrial vacuums. They sealed off entry points for mice, including blocking the crawl space between my and my neighbor's attic areas (which had been a continuous space). They replaced my insulation. They installed a screen over an outside vent area to prevent entry of wildlife of all kinds. I couldn't be happier.

Initially there was a bit of miscommunication in the scheduling due to the owner being out of the country. But once he got word of the mishap, he resolved the situation promptly and professionally which eased my misgivings about the business. While here he performed the cleaning thoroughly and was honest about how to upkeep the maintenance and didn't encourage me to purchase or replace expensive equipment if it was unnecessary. I would use this business again in the future.

While Shawn wasn't able to do the work due to the type of air duct lining in the home, he was prompt, friendly and professional. He also explained how Angie's List contractor requirements are even stronger than the state requirements. We purchased a deal in advance, which Angie's List refunded without any problem.

Service provider was unable to perform the work based on the type of ducts. Offered and refund or a credit for other work.
