CLASSIC CARPET AND DRAPERIES

Description of Work: Owner came out quickly when we called. We needed drapes in bedroom and living room. He was excellent in suggesting colors. We had a long discussion regarding how dark we wanted the bedroom to be, etc, and he made recommendation of how to accomplish that. He suggested solar shades as well as curtains so that we could profit from our beautiful view and maintain privacy. The meeting was a bit pressured (this is the only time I the owner will come out and can offer special prices, after this one of my workers), but all was agreed. Curtains and sun screens arrived when promised and looked great. We found some aspects were not as we remembered ordering (partial black-out rather than black-out backings, hung from wall rather than ceiling). When we called, the owner said we agreed with the changes during the discussion. That easily could be, but the actual order form we got at our meeting is a 3rd carbon of a form with checked boxes whose meaning in unintelligible. So if I were to use him again, I would demand a receipt that says in English what is promised. Final point, he said his solar shades would provide some privacy at night - not true, totally transparent to anyone outside looking in.
