+ -1 moreIt went perfectly! Within 10 daysof my first phone call to Chung's roofing I had a new roof!!!!! While Chung's was on the roof in 7 days, other contractors could not even give me a start date. I got the referral from a family member of mine also Chung's advertises in an Apartment Owners magazine. I highly recommend them, Its nice to find someone responsive and TRUSTWORTHY. And they have a heart, when we offered to cut some trees down, to help with container parking, they said, "please don't cut those trees down we'll work around them." Did I mention the heatwave they worked through... I asked them why there are two Chung's roofing entries on Angies list, they said someone else posted them. one has an older address. Description of Work: RE-Roof flat roof on a two story Apartment building. Total Cost out the door $14200 / 4600 sqft = $3.08 per sqft. . REMOVE EXISTING FLAT ROOF & RE-ROOF WITH 4 PLY SYSTEM. 1. Remove existing flat roof & Haul Away. 2. Install new 2X4 edge metal and nail it down. 3. Install 28 lbs. fiber glass base sheet with nail down to deck. 4. Install 1st layer of 11 lbs. fiber glass with hot asphalt. ( Apply 25-30 lbs. per 100 Sq. Ft.) 5. Install 2nd layer of 11 lbs. fiber glass with hot asphalt ( Apply 25-30 lbs. per 100 Sq. Ft. ) 6. Install 78 lbs. fiber glass mineral surface cap sheet with hot asphalt .( Apply 25-30 lbs. per 100 Sq. Ft.) 7. Seal all pipes, vents & A/C unit or any projection, using roof cement. Repair any areas with wood rot. 8. Complete cleaning. 9. Remove all debris from job site. . 2-PLY SYSTEM AT PARAPET WALL AREA. 1. Install 1st layer of 11 lbs. fiber glass with hot asphalt.( Apply 25-30 lbs. per 100 Sq. Ft. ) 2. Install 78 lbs. fiber glass mineral surface cap sheet with hot asphalt. ( Apply 25-30 lbs. per 100 Sq. Ft.) . Coping metal will be saved & reinstalled after underlayment. . Clean gutter & down spout. . ADDITIONAL PLY AROUND A/C UNIT & DRAIN AREA. 1. Lift A/C unit & Reinstall after underlayment. 2.Install 28 lbs. fiber glass base with nail down to deck. 3 Install 1st layer of 11 lbs. fiber glass with hot asphalt. (Apply 25-30 lbs. per 100 Sq. Ft.) 4.Install 2nd layer of 11 lbs. fiber glass with hot asphalt. ( Apply 25-30 lbs. per 100 Sq. Ft.) 5.Install 3rd layer of 11 lbs. fiber glass with hot asphalt. (Apply 25-30 lbs. per 100 Sq. Ft.) 6.Install 78 lbs. fiber glass mineral surface cap sheet with hot asphalt. (Apply 25-30 lbs. per 100 Sq. Ft.)

+ -1 moreThey were great. I had one company tell me that I needed a completely new roof. They informed me that I didn't need a new one, I just needed a few tiles repaired. They did a wonderful job. The men went up on the roof and took great pictures. The owner had men here within a few days and they did the work with no problem. They were very talented and showed up on time. I also like how they were not pushy at all. They did the job how I wanted them to.
Description of Work: Chung's Roofing came out and repaired some tiles on my roof.
