I was on the 110 Freeway, and I needed gasoline. I saw the Chevron Station near the exit of the 110 Freeway at Florence. I went into the gas station and paid cash for gasoline. Once I started pumping gasoline, I notice that the price on the pump was $4.09/gal. I went to the station operator and inquired as to why I did not receive the the cash price of $3.97/gal that is posted. I was told that the price of $3.97/gal only applied if you purchased a $10.95 car wash. I asked the attendant why was that not posted. I was directed to a VERY TINY sign above the type of gasoline of regular. This sign was about the size of a 3 x 5 card. In my opinion, this is misleading. I was on the freeway, and I guess I left my binoculars in my other car. I did contact the station to let them know that I was going to leave this message on the Internet. My philosophy, if more people would take the time to ACCURATELY "out" businesses that give less than quality service, we could force business owners to provide more quality service. Pass it on!
