+ -1 moreI have been very pleased with Carmen's services from day one. She even likes animals and is very patient with my two dogs. They can bark a lot and she never complains. There are days I have even asked her to let the dogs out into the yard. She accompanies them and lets them finish, often taking them out more than once when she know I will be late. I would highly recommend her.
Description of Work: I have been using Carmen for three years and have been very pleased with her and her work. She is very diligent and takes her time to assure every inch of the house is clean. She always accepts any direction or special tasks I give her even if it extends her day. We have a lot of fragile and expensive things which she handles perfectly (Nothing has broken in 3 years) Her English is passable but more than enough to give direction. She does not drive so she has to consider the bus routes and travel time when offered a job. The negative comments from others' phone conversations could be a combination of phone and language shortcomings. She is a very pleasant and respectful person. I also tried to get her to clean a friends house but she had to say no because she had no free days. Unfortunately, cleaning persons do not have guaranteed work and clients change. If a person is not available, I find it a positive sign because they have so many people that like their work. Unfortunately, I am moving out of state and am now leaving her with an open day.

+ -1 moreI found Carmen through Angie's list and have been very happy. She is extremely attentive and professional taking initiative to go beyond the basic housecleaning. I have been using her for 2 months now and have been impressed every week. She understands the basic principle that when hired on a regular basis a "special project" should be addressed each time. I never had to tell her this, finding the first time she came that she had polished the silver objets around the house. The next week she had cleaned the blinds. She takes a long time to clean my 1500 sq ft house with a great attention to detail. I would highly recommend her. Her English is not great but with her professional approach to work, you wont need to communicate much, she will just do it.
Description of Work: After trying her out the first time I was very impressed. Now she cleans my house every two weeks. Going from basic housecleaning to vacuuming ceiling corners, washing blinds, polishing silver and changing/washing bed sheets.

Description of Work: Carmen cleans for us every week, she will do anything, well and is always on time. Very easy to deal with and understands english perfectly, she is very easy to have around the house and does an excellent job.

+ -1 moreI am very happy with Carmen's work. I am very particular about certain things being done in specific ways, and she has adapted very well and learned to adjust to my needs. She has been cleaning for me regularly since May. My house has never looked better. She speaks only a little English (I speak to her in Spanish), but her English is sufficient to communicate with my husband when I am not here. She is honest, which is the most important thing when someone is in your house! I never worry about leaving her alone in the house.
Description of Work: Carmen does housework for us once every two weeks. She cleans the bathrooms and kitchen thoroughly, vacuums, mops, dusts, washes windows, makes beds, and irons my husband's shirts. She is good about noticing extra work that needs to be done now and then, and phasing it in as needed.
