CALIFORNIA PAINTING CO

We checked and compared several painting companies only to come back to California painting Company. We hired this company primarily because they would use a brush and roller, and not because they were the lowest bid. The painters arrived on time each day and worked a full day. Although one painter mentioned that he had 27 years of experience, I found myself, continuously, each day pointing out that I wanted things masked off and painting tarps down. At one point, I started too mask things off myself. They painted from the bottom up,(not from the top down) with paint splatter everywhere--on the porch, brickwork, walls, railing, and ground areas, too. We are very frustrated and disappointed with their job performance, job skills and the outcome of the work as well. Upon our inspection, we deducted the cost of the damages from the contract estimate amount and that was agreeable to California Painting Company. Their actual quote was, "pay me what you want".

We have used California Painters several times, and trust them to do excellent work at a decent price. They are punctual, polite, well-organized.
