HIGHLY RECOMMEND. ENTIRE PROCESS VERY SMOOTH AND PROFESSIONAL FROM THE FIRST PHONE CALL. THE WORK OF THE CREW WHO PERFORMED THE JOB OVER A PERIOD OF FOUR DAYS WAS EXCEPTIONAL. THEY WERE THE MOST PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS, HARD WORKING ARTISANS I'VE EVER HAD THE PLEASURE TO WORK WITH. IT WAS CLEAR THAT EACH OF THE GENTLEMEN DOING THE WORK TOOK THE JOB SERIOUSLY AND TOOK REAL PRIDE IN THE QUALITY OF THE WORK. THE RESULT IS ESSENTIALLY KITCHEN CABINETRY THAT LOOKS BRAND NEW. THE FINISH IS SILKY SMOOTH BUT HARD. NOT SOFTER LIKE YOU'D EXPECT FROM A TYPICAL PAINTING JOB. THE AMOUNT OF WORK THAT WENT INTO THE PROCESS TO PRODUCE THE END RESULT IS REMARKABLE..GIVE SCOTT A CALL, YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID.

From the moment we talked to and met Nathan and Scott we knew we had the best possible company needed to refinish our badly worn and flaking cabinets and crown molding. Ten years ago, we had the same cabinets refinished by another company that has since gone out of business. We were very disappointed in the quality of the work. In comparison, Scott and Nathan were responsive, professional and very easy to work with. Their skillful crew worked hard and were a pleasure to have around. The finished work is perfect! We could not be happier and highly recommend Cabinet Refresh for any cabinet refinishing or refreshing work that needs to be done. Over the last 20 years, we have done a lot of work on our 35 year old home. Cabinet Refresh has been one of the best companies we have ever hired. Our cabinets and woodwork look like new and we could not be happier with the work.

First and foremost, I would like to explain that I had more then 8 other contractors come out to my house to quote this job. I had almost given up on the project and hung it up for another year. I had not found a single contractor that was reliable, trustworthy or one that would even call back. I had the worst expiernce of my life....Then I gave one call to Cabinet Refresh. At first, I was not too hopeful, then Carole showed up and with 15 min was able to explain EXACTLY what they would do, how they would do it, how long it would take and presented me with an offer on the spot. She was incredibly sweet and kind to me. The way she presented herself and explained everything, I knew that they wouldn't just "get the job done", I knew that they would do a phenomenal job. After letting myself simmer on it for a day or so, I received a call from Nathan, who just wanted to make sure everything went well and that I got my official offer in my email. At that point, I knew I would choose them to do the job. They booked me to have it started in less then 2 weeks. They had estimated 2 days to get the job done, and that the employees would show up at 8am. I was SHOCKED to actually see that not only did they show up EXACTLY at 8am the day they said they would, there were 4 gentlemen all together and immediately began working on the job. In less then 1 day they nearly had my entire kitchen stained. I was absolutely blown away. I am a very meticulous person, and everything has to be perfect. After they had begun working on my cabinetry, they provided me and my wife with 2 color samples. My wife and I didn't really like any of them. So after explaining to the gentleman what we were looking for, in less then 10 min, he had 3 new samples to show us on our drawers. I was blown away. He had nailed it the second time. I can not speak more highly of the proffionalisim and timeliness of this company and its employees. They are simply incredible. The second day I had a few questions ready for them, and when I approached them, it was like he was reading my mind and answered them before I could finish asking them. They went above and beyond on this job. I just got home from work and got to see the kitchen completely done. It was completed in exactly 2 days as they said they would. I was floored when I saw the results. I was in shock and awe of the results. My wife and I could not be happier. Cabinet Refresh has turned one of the most miserable experience of my life into one of the best. All things said and done, they were a little bit more expensive then a few other quotes I got, but I just had a gut feeling from after speaking with carole that these guys would do 10x better of a job then the rest. I am so pleased that I did, The statement, "you get what you pay for" holds true with this job. I would never recommend anyone else for a cabinetry job of any sort. Cabinet refresh are the guys to go with. I just felt I had to share my experience with anyone that is looking to have cabinetry done. If you are, go with Cabinet Refresh. Trust me, you won't regret it.

I am so happy with the results! We had two units in our apartment building that needed kitchen and bath renovation and we decided to have our cabinets refinished rather than replacing them. Nathan and his team were professional, courteous and a pleasure to work with. They all went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with the results. The project was completed on time and on budget. Our cabinets look like new and for a fraction of the cost. We will definitely be hiring them again when we are ready to renovate other units in our building.

I am very pleased with the results of the cabinet resurfacing. The kitchen looks new and even better than I had expected. Elio, Luis, and Jose really know what they are doing -- they did a great job of prepping the cabinets and kitchen areas as well as protecting the rest of the house from dirt/dust, etc. The results are professional. Nathan, the sales rep, worked through a small problem with matching cabinets and all ended well. I would use Cabinet Refresh again.

Our kitchen cabinets were good quality, but we didn't like the dark brown color. We wanted a lighter look. Cabinet Refresh painted all of the cabinets Benjamin Moore White Dove and the island a dark gray. It took 4 days - very fast! - and they look absolutely amazing. Everyone who looks at them can't believe they're painted. I didn't think it was possible, but seriously looks like it's straight from the factory. They showed up on time and cleaned everything up when they left. Very professional. Not a single complaint. And it was much less expensive than I thought. Couldn't be happier.

Work performed: 1. All kitchen cabinets, cleaned, scrubbed, refaced and refinished to completely different color 2. Water damaged shelving replaced 3. Pull out's in our stove and oven pan area 4. 28 Bottle Wine Cooler installed into our kitchen island 5. Drawer pulls installed on all kitchen cabinets (new) 6. Master bath cabinets refinished and new drawer pulls installed 7. All hinges reset and cabinet drawers now correctly close and fit

This is the first time I used Angie's List and the first time I did not get multiple bids and I am not sorry. I therefore cannot comment on the price, but quality of work was more important. I got the impression that this company and all their employees wanted us to like the job they did. There were some really minor glitches, but they took care of them to more than our satisfaction. They exceeded our expectations in every way.

They're great. The kitchen looks great. The people are very nice and they did everything on time just as they said they would. The cost was very fair of what they did. I'd recommend them to everyone.

They were on time, courteous and informative.

They came on time every day and cleaned up every night. It only took 3 days and it was a big job. They were Awesome! I would use them again in a heartbeat.

I cannot say enough good things about Scott and his company. I have a vaulted ceiling in my bedroom with exposed beams. Tthey were originally stained in the 80's, and you can tell it was done in the 80's....horrible color. I was not sure the original wood grains would even show through with such an aweful color underneath. I'm not sure how they did it, but they did. The new stain is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. You can see the wood grains - its not just a flat color. I found my self laying in bed just looking up at the beams. I LOVE LOVE LOVE them!!! The crew is awesome. They are super friendly, and professional, and fast. Once they were done, (which took less than 2 days) there was no sign, other than the beautiful newly stained beams, that they had even been there. IMMACULATE! Thanks once again for an awesome job!!

Carol Viers came out immediately and not only gave me an estimate but made suggestions on ways to improve my old kitchen. Nathan - always prompt - brought out Jaime to do all the measurements to the specs provided by Carol. Jaime's crew did a lot of work prior to the refinish including building a new cabinet, a spice rack and an enclosure for my new farm sink. All of Jaime's guys were prompt, respectful, and did a beautiful job. Kudos to Jaime, Eric and especially Jose and his son! The installation went perfectly! Edgar, the lead, and Luis and Elio made sure that the kitchen was sealed off to prevent dirt and grime from getting all over the house. Everything went without a snag! A few days later I discovered that a few pull-out drawers for the pots and pans hadn't been done, and some of the drawers needed a bit of tweaking to line up. Nathan was out right away with Ops Manager Pedro and they are in the process of finishing the work. This is a FABULOUS company to work with. I'm extremely happy with my new kitchen!

We first met with Carole and discussed all the work we needed done. She showed up right on time and was able to give us a lot of good ideas and got an understanding of the work needed to be done. Our kitchen cabinets had severe water damage under the sink area and very generally in great need of refinishing. Carole gave us a very fair price and answered all our questions. The work crew showed up exactly on time and were very pleasant. They cleaned up well each day. Cabinets came out fabulous! They look brand new! I didn't have the huge expense of having to install all new cabinets. The pull out shelves are the best. They are well worth installing. Scott is great to deal with and very responsive to any issues arising. I would highly recommend them for any cabinet refinishing needs.

my front doors were badly weathered, cracking and wood was starting to rise.... they were able to strip , recolor and seal all within hours....doosr look fantastic...great service, walked me through the complete process.. and the team cleaned up and left no mess . from time of quote to work performed was within 5 days. highly reccomend

Could not be happier with the result and with the professionalism of Scott and his entire crew. They did the work on site which allowed the job to be finished in 3-4 days compared to 3-4 weeks quoted by others. Scott had great ideas in improving the result by painting stairway two different colors and by adding molding in kitchen. No complaints at all--super service, super price. Highly recommend.

It was effortless and I never felt they were not doing their job. I never worried whether they would finish in time for the party. They even worked all day on July 4th. They didn't leave trash in my yard from their lunches, they were respectful in making sure they closed the gates so our puppy wouldn't get out. They were really great with her. My husband works from home and they were respectful go that. He'd frequently go out from his office to just observe and he always felt at ease talking to Edgar. I have nothing but praise for the the crew. This company is outstanding !!!!!

First, in our search for a good door refinisher we called many contractors out of the blue book, but none really matched what we needed. This company's name tells it all, Cabinet Refresh, because they know how to refinish and finish the job well. Second, their team was always responsive to phone calls and email messages which we really appreciated. This helped in coordinating the work to get the job done on time. Third, they were honest in their dealings. There was a punch list item that wasn't performed per our standard, and they took ownership of it and made another visit to complete it. Finally, they never bothered us in regards to payment. They called when they needed to, and certainly communicated with us to stay appraised of the status of the check, but never overly so. We would recommend this contractor to anyone needed to refinish their doors, desk, or cabinets.

We were very impressed with the service. Cabinet Refresh worked along side our counter people to do a kitchen overhaul in only five days. They were extremely clean, communicative and collaborative throughout. The end result is a total transformation of our kitchen. The counters look like they came from the factory white, and people have asked if we replaced them.

Nathan was great to work with, I initially contacted him for a quote to refinish the front door. Before he came out he was very honest as to their minimum charge to send out a crew for the day and he suggested that we could include other projects at no additional charge since we were under the minimum. When he came out to see the front door and scope of work, he reviewed the other furniture refinishing projects we proposed and agreed they could change the color on our 4 new barstools that just didn't look right color-wise after we purchased them and got them home. The barstools look perfect now, just what we wanted. The front door had a few challenges due to problems with the original finish. Most of it looked perfect but we had a few spots that in different lighting weren't ideal. Nathan was great from a customer service standpoint, no arguments, sent someone out a couple days later and they resolved the issue in a few hours. The door looks great now!. I couldn't have asked for better responsiveness and honestly from Nathan. While other service providers are probably cheaper, the quality of the work and the customer service was worth the price. We will be contacting Nathan again in the future for other projects.

It was all highly satisfactory. I was able to have the job scheduled within days of my first contact. The work area was prepared with great care. Everything was covered in plastic, and taped securely. The craftsmen worked very h****** all the steps of removing the old scarred surface of my woodwork, then applying many coats of the new finish. They were very pleasant and it was easy to communicate with them. They checked with me about the placement and installation of the finishing hardware, and explained anything I asked about. After they were finished I observed them checking over every inch of the work, poking to see if anything needed any touch up. They cleaned up very carefully when they were done, and made my cabinets look like new at way less cost than refacing all my non-standard size doors would be. This was not just a good price, but a great value.

Scott and the rest of the team was a pleasure to work with. They showed up on time each day, and the job was finished in the exact time promised. We are EXTREMELY satisfied with the work, the price, and the results!! Amazing work and couldn't believe how quick is was completed. AAAA+++

We needed help with our outdated 1988 kitchen. Met with Carol first for estimate. She listened to our wishes and gave us an estimate. Carol was very enthusiastic. We then got together with Scott and shared our ideas and he shared his and we got a better vision for our kitchen. They are based in Venice, but had no problem with coming out Riverside way. Crew was always on time and did professional work. All were very friendly and courteous. They fixed any problems that came their way. Scott made sure everything was to our liking. Anything that did not look like it should was taken care of. Total remodel took about 2 weeks. We now have an awesome kitchen of our dreams. Thank-you Scott and crew!

Scott was very informative, helpful, honest, professional and fun to do business with. His crew showed up on time, were very neat and pleasant to deal with and finished the job in 2 days which I did not think was possible. The results are terrific and I can't say enough good things about Scott, his crew and the quality of their work and work ethic. This was the first time that I used Angie's list and I can only hope that all of the recommendations will be as good as this one.
