Magic, miracles and exquisite taste...on a budget! Confession...I am very,very remiss and remorseful at taking over two years to post this much deserved review. Truth be told, I haven't written many reviews, but Scott, Nathan and their merry band of very talented, diligent, reliable workers left such a lasting good impression and were a such a pleasure to work with that we were truly sad to see them go! Happily, they left us with a beautiful, quality kitchen to enjoy. This company is so professional, reasonable and reliable that they are super busy...but believe me they are worth the wait. The owner, Scott, has amazingly good taste and generously shares it when prompted. Never one to up sell, he has actually gently discouraged some of my more ambitious ideas keeping my design vision on track and our budget as well! In fact, out of pure kindness, he refurbished a vintage, tag sale credenza and transformed it into a charming freestanding kitchen island and then refused any money for it! Really and truly, he tore up the $500 check we kept trying to give him for his work. I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP! Who does that??!! I'll tell you who, Scott and Nathan at Cabinet Refresh. They epitomize those...often rare...traits of honesty, strong work ethic, integrity, and amazing design aesthetics...all the while respecting and keeping to our limited budget. Soon...we will be digging up our sad "before" photos (from an old iPhone) and post some before and after pictures in a future update. This time I won't take two years to do it! Bottom line, Scott, Nathan and this company is/are a gem(s). We can't recommend them highly enough. Their work is wonderful...in fact we are trying to get on their list (they are always busy) so they can work their magic on our bathrooms...to match our kitchen. Keeping our fingers crossed!

His crew was courteous, professional, and always on time. I felt very comfortable leaving them to work on their own.They cleaned up daily and made the entire process so easy. I wasn't sure what to do with my kitchen, but Scott made recommendations at my request, and I love the way everything turned out.

We had a great experience. Nathan Wright was our sale representative. He was very responsive and professional. Jose, Fabricia and Oscar were the technicians who worked at our house. They were all professional, neat and very organized. The cabinet doors and drawers were removed. They sanded and cleaned all the surfaces to be refinished. The cabinet doors and drawers were painted outside and they put up plastic to protect our fence and garage. The kitchen was prepped and masked with great care. The floor was covered with paper and the counters and appliances were covered in plastic. The rest of the house was protected from dust by plastic placed over the kitchen entrances. The interior work was sprayed with the color we chose. They reinstalled everything using new hardware that I purchased. The whole job took 4 days. All in all, a very positive experience.

Would highly recommend this company. Scott was honest, helpful & professional to deal with. The crew was outstanding.....neat & detail orientated. Very happy with the end result. So happy we discovered this company...you won't be disappointed!

I found this company on Angie's list and hired them based on Angie's list reviews. I was not disappointed. Scott came and gave the estimate. I met the guys doing the work and they were very nice. They walked through the job with me pointing out details of their work. They did a wonderful job. The finish is beautiful. I also trusted them to work alone in the house unsupervised. They let themselves in and locked up at the end of their workday.

Cabinet Refresh did an amazing job refinishing all our kitchen cabinets. When we first moved into our new home, the first thing that stood out was the old style of our previous kitchen cabinets which seemed to be in stark contrast to our fairly newly built contemporary home. Rather than spend ten to fifteen thousand to replace everything with new cabinets we fortunately found out about Cabinet Refresh. Their service gave us the result we were looking for at a fraction of the cost. Their team was also very professional from start to finish. We've had various work done at our home and I can honestly say that their working crew was the most efficient, professional and clean of them all. I'd highly recommend this company to anyone looking to update their kitchen or cabinets at a very reasonable cost.

In lieu of deconstructing our kitchen and tearing out about 30 cabinets they came and gentrified all the frames and built new cabinets for the ones that could not be saved. We are extremely pleased with the results and the value provided. They worked quickly and effectively. There staff is professional, courteous and knowledgeable. The results are better then replacing the cabinets.

We were all set to purchase new cabinets when we realized that what we were about to replace existing cabinets with, was extremely similar to what we were about to purchase. I went back to Angies list and Scott from Cabinet Refresh came to give us an estimate. WOW - Not only did Scott provide an estimate, his insight into what we were looking to achieve was astounding. Scott instantly knew we were about to waste money on replacing cabinets, and painting our existing cabinets would be much more cost effective. This allowed us to upgrade the hardware, install Quartz countertops instead of Granite, and come in under budget. Scott's crew were extremely prompt, very professional, and never left a mess behind. The job was completed on time, under budget and we are extremely pleased with the overall experience. We would higly recommend Cabient Refresh to anyone considering a kitchen upgrade. Everything went very well. Workers were wonderful and cabinets look marvelous. All done on time. Super clean up. I highly recommend.

We are thrilled with our cabinets! We hired Cabinet Refresh to paint the cabinets in our kitchen and two bathrooms, as well as change the cabinet door hardware. Nathan came out to give us a quote and he was very helpful with selecting the colors for the cabinets. He sent us a quote the same day! The Cabinet Refresh crew arrived a couple of weeks later and started the job. They are extremely professional and their attention to detail is outstanding. Our cabinets were sanded, patched and painted flawlessly. They were also very fast and finished the job in just three days. I had another company tell me that it would be at least six! We're so happy with the job they did for us!!! As an interior designer, I would happily recommend them to my clients!!

I think Cabinet Refresh is aptly titled since it clearly describes the specialty work the company is engaged in however now that the work is complete I recommend changing the name to Cabinet Refresh Plus! I endorse adding Plus to the company name because in the end it?s more than a ?Refresh? since the whole room looks refashioned. I contracted with CR to refresh my kitchen cabinets because of all the glowing reviews on social media that consistently stated the company does a stellar job. I wanted to update my oak cabinets with a more modern look but didn?t anticipate the room would also be transformed. I am more than pleased with the results; the workers were professional, gracious and proficient in their craft. It was easy to schedule and although the job took a little longer than anticipated it was well worth the extra investment in time. My expectations were certainly exceeded by the awesome results and of course the Plus factor.

Wow, what an amazing job these guys did!!!! They refinished my bedroom and bathroom cabinets and I am beyond trilled with the results... Not only are my cabinets stunning, but I was actually able to sleep in my bedroom that very night.... No fumes what so ever!!!!! These guys are a pleasure to work with, fast, clean and professional!

Feel very fortunate to have found Scott, Nathan and his team on Angie's list and cant praise them highly enough. Genuine and honest. Before we found Cabinet Refresh we went through a long winded exercise to find the right company to understand that we wanted to maintain as much of the existing integrity that the original carpenters built in our 60 year old kitchen. Scott and Nathan understood the quality of the workmanship back then. Much of the existing wood we wished to keep except the doors. We now have the best of both worlds with an incredible result matched by no kitchens under $30,000 at least, for a little over a third the price. His team are a solid group of lovely people that I felt happy to have in my house each day, that were only interested in doing a great job and proud of their efforts which I respected very much. Scotts eye and passion for his work I picked up on immediately. I could tell that he knew exactly the result I was wanting to achieve and in fact superseded my expectations by the end result going the extra mile to ensure a perfect result. He even helped me choose the best choice of hardware which now just give everything that extra WOW factor. His carpenters are fantastic, rebuilding custom cabinets where required where the part of the existing kitchen was no longer functional. I now have solid base and solid doors and it looks amazing. Just amazing. They really just wanted to get it right and I appreciated that very much. I would recommend them to anyone. They use high end materials, and do not cheapen anything by using inferior product. Its all great quality. Thank you so much.

Than estimate was higher than purchasing new cabinets and having them installed.

I was very impressed with the work they did. The prep included taking off all the cabinet doors and drawer faces. I was only required to clear the counter tops and take my items out of the drawers but everything in the cabinets stayed put because they meticulously sealed the inside of the cabinets w/ plastic sheets (nothing got dirty!). The 2 workers set up a little work area in my driveway (they came prepared w/ their own ez-up canopy) and this is where they degreased and resurfaced the doors and drawer faces. They pretty much worked outside on this first day. The next day they added a few more coats to them and started prepping to work inside the house on the cabinet/drawer frames, this included mostly taping along the ceiling, walls, and inside cabinets as a result this was the only day that my kitchen was not fully functional since the pots,pans, dishes had been taped up inside the cabinets. They did uncover our fridge so that we could at least have access to that. They also took the time to degrease the hardware like the handles and knobs something I thought I would have to do. On the final day, which they only worked a half day because that's all that was needed they completely sealed of the kitchen from the rest of the house (I have a great room where the dining and living room are open to the kitchen) by creating plastic walls so that their work would not dirty any other areas and it worked!! Everything was reinstalled on this day and cleaned up. My kitchen looks so much better, they did a great job and would strongly recommend them.

Everything worked out very good! Nathan replied to my emails and phone calls in no time. He had to find a special color for my kitchen, because I wanted a special Martha Steward Living color, which is out of stock everywhere. It worked out excellent. The staff came on time, everybody was friendly, they worked fast but with all eyes on the details. They took all cabinet doors and handles off, covered and sealed everything for protection. Everything was done by deadline and the kitchen looks brand new. The surfaces are very solid, they sanded the original dark brown stain down, primed everything, sprayed a few coats of color and for finishing a lacquer. We are totally in love with our "new" bright grey kitchen! Great job!!!

Cabinet refresh was so wonderful to work with. Nathan was our contact and we can't say enough nice things about him. He and the workers showed up on time, were respectful and friendly and the work was superb. We felt that our house was a good size job and they still managed to finish on time. The new finishes transformed the look of our house. I would recommend them to family and friends any day. The work was done about 7 months prior to posting this review and I can say that so far the finishes have held up to the abuse of our toddler and remained very nice looking.

Nathan was very clear and concise in explaining his cost estimate and the services provided. He answered all of our questions so that we knew what to expect. He worked with us to select the style of cabinet doors and paint color. This was an easy process, as we already had an idea of what we wanted. The Cabinet Refresh work crew, Elio, Jose, Julio, & Luis, arrived promptly on time each morning during the work. They masked off the kitchen area each day, to minimize the dust during all phases of the process. The work crew was very responsive to our input and concerns, and provided excellent solutions in shoring up some cabinet details, and making the minor adjustments to make the finished product as nice as possible. They set up a spray booth area in our back yard for the painting of the new door and drawer faces. The only concern with this is the weather conditions during the project, but we had no problems. The crew would ask us questions during the project to make sure of placement, alignment, centering, etc. details. This work crew was very professional, and they all worked very diligently each day. Overall, we are very pleased with the final results. The fit & finish of the cabinets is excellent. Drawer dovetail construction, smooth glides & door hinges are quality details we appreciate. I originally contacted Cabinet Refresh a few months ago, to get a quote on refacing my cabinets and replacing the doors and drawers. I was comparing this to the cost and inconvenience of replacing all the cabinets, and needed information on which to base my decision. Nathan did measurements and gave me a quote, along with the options on painting or staining the new doors and cabinet faces. He was very professional and very thorough, and did not push me to choose his service, understanding that I was just gathering info at this time. When I decided to go ahead with refacing and new doors, I contacted Nathan again, and he updated the quote, since it had been several months since the original. He was very helpful in providing a website on which all the available paint colors could be seen, but since I wanted wood stained cabinets, he brought samples of the various stain colors with him when he came to take the detailed measurements for the job. When I asked whether they also did countertops, he told me that they could subcontract that, but it would cost me more than if I went directly to a countertop supplier - I appreciated his honesty about this. They put me on their schedule for about 2 weeks after he took the detailed measurements, which suited my schedule. The Cabinet Refresh crew who did the work were extremely professional and highly skilled. The finished job is spectacular! They brought all their own equipment and set up in my backyard, where the stained all the cabinet doors. By doing it on site, they are able to adjust the depth of color to the homeowners preference. I chose a dark, mahogany-toned stain to blend with my floors and contrast with light colored walls and countertops. The Cabinet Refresh crew removed the old countertops and installed plywood to cover the cabinets. They removed the old cabinet doors. They spent two days staining the new doors, and two days applying, sanding, and staining the new veneer on the cabinet faces. They use maple wood for the doors, drawers, and veneers, so they are sturdy and well built. They also installed soft-close hardware, at my request. Once everything was stained and mounted, they did some final work to make sure all the color depth of the stain matched, then did final clear coat on it all. They also built molding along at the ceiling edge, and installed kick-plates under the lower cabinets, all matched in color and style. Because my house is old and cheaply built, nothing is square, so they really had to work to make the tops of the cabinets line up correctly, and all the drawers close smoothly. They did an excellent job - - it is far superior to what was originally installed in the house. The workers were professional, friendly, hard working, highly skilled, and neat. They arrived on time, worked hard all day, and cleaned up every night before they left. The finished work is gorgeous. Once the countertops are installed, I plan to take photos and include them with this review.

From the very first point of contact Cabinet Refresh (specifically, Nathan Wright) have been responsive and knowledgeable. They came out to the house for a quote less than a week after the first email and worked with us on how to time the painting along with all the other work we are having done on the house. As a good consumer, I gathered multiple quotes and Cabinet Refresh was not only the most reasonable but I also felt like they had the most experience. When we had a hard time finding someone to do another part of our renovation, they provided some referrals. The workmen were professional, on-time and left our garage (the staging area for painting) cleaner than how they found it. We weren't completely sure about the stain color for the railings and Edgar tried out a couple of colors to find the right shade. Both the kitchen and railings look fantastic. I would recommend Cabinet Refresh with enthusiasm!

We are extremely happy and satisfied with the work that Cabinet Refresh has performed. Scott is very pleasant and professional. He has gone above and beyond to make sure that we are happy with the result. He listens well and is very easy to talk to which I find very rare in dealing with contractors. I was very skeptical about painting over the existing oak cabinets, but Scott insisted that it would look great and that the wood grain would not be an issue. I took his advice and am glad that I did. The painting of the cabinets turned out as beautiful as I had hoped for. I give all the credits to Scott's crew, Edgar and Julio. They were the BEST! They were professional, pleasant, cordial, respectful, helpful, and always on time. They took time to do the job right and beautiful. If I pointed out a scratch or an uneven surface, Edgar would immediately redo it without question. Julio is a very skillful carpenter. They are very hard workers and I am so happy to have them worked on my house. We love, love our new kitchen and bathroom. Everything turned out so beautiful and more. We are so happy that we found Cabinet Refresh. Their price is great and their workmanship is just outstanding. We definitely will use them again in the future. I would highly recommend them to all my friends and family.

It went very well. They did good work and it was very fast. I got three different estimates and they were the best estimates by far. They were very professional. They call me back whenever I have questions. There was a scratch and they came out within a week to fix it. They were calling me to make sure everything was okay. One of the manager's came out to make sure the work was the way it was supposed to be.

I cannot say enough good things about Cabinet Refresh. From my first contact with Carole, to emails back and forth with Nathan, to phone calls and meetings with Scott, to the actual work being done by Edgar and the team - everyone was kind, professional, patient and gracious. The work they did was exceptional. Renovations are usually disruptive and inconvenient, but they made the 7 days they were here as easy on us as possible. They always had a smile and their attention to detail was amazing. Our kitchen and bathrooms are completely transformed and no one believes they are the same cabinets. I highly, highly recommend.

I used the site to find these folks which started with Carol the mother coming to do the quote. We had to put off scheduling a couple of times do to travels and holidays. Scott and Nathan took over once we got rolling. This is a very cool way to go. They block with plastic but you will still need to heavy dust as that is the way it goes. The crew was professional and did there job which is all you can ask. Get it and get out. Floors and stairs were the same deal. We had a large project and yes it is disruptive to your life but much better than buying new cabinets. I purchased new knobs and they changed out those 80. They also were able to change out two sets of older guides which was really helpful. Past that, great to work with and my wife and I are very happy with the results.

I have used cabinet refresh a few times now. They have always outperformed. Being a homeowner, I have constant home improvement/repairs going on. The crew at CabinetRefresh is awesome! They know what they are doing, and they know how to do it right the first time. I absolutely LOVE My cabinets. They also recently did the beams in our bedroom and they are gorgeous! Prior to that they refinished my kitchen cabinets that are amazing. Love the company, love the crew! My only wish is that I had more wood for them to refinish!,
