Scott and his team at Cabinet Refresh just completed our kitchen cabinet makeover and the result is amazing. For some background, our kitchen was only 8 years old but really starting to show signs of wear. Our cabinets were originally painted on site with lacquer paint. For anyone that knows about paint, lacquer is very brittle and does not stand up to the daily rigor of usage a kitchen endures. Cabinet Refresh however uses the best paint in the business, General Finishes Polyurethane. If you do some research on this paint, it is the most durable paint on the market that can be used in California. The paint dries quickly, with very very low odor, and is highly resistant to chipping and scuffing. As far as the whole process, the team sent was kind and courteous, answered any questions we had, paid attention to detail, and cleaned up after themselves like professionals. After the job was completed, we noticed a slight imperfection, which Scott was prompt to have the guys come back to correct. We could not be happier with the experience, and have to say this ranks as one of the best transactions we have had with a contractor.

We hired Cabinet Refresh to refinish our kitchen cabinets. Scott came out to give us a quote and help us decide the color and finish for our cabinets. We found him to be quite knowledgeable and have a great eye for design. He was a joy to work with. It took a week to finish the cabinets and they look awesome! The crew was very professional, was always on time, cleaned up at the end of the day and did an excellent job. Before they started, they very carefully covered with heavy paper all of the areas that they weren’t refinishing, including the new appliances we had just purchased. They sealed off the kitchen when they were spraying and there was never any odor or dust coming from the room. We needed to have four drawers built as well as a cabinet above the refrigerator. They turned out beautiful and look like they have always been there. Cabinet Refresh is a quality company. The whole experience was excellent start to finish. This company does all they can to make sure their clients are happy and satisfied. We will be calling Scott again soon for another job.

Everything went well from the time Scott, the owner, came to see what we needed. He was very helpful in choosing the right color gray for the bathroom cabinet. Scott and Carol were very responsive to all of our needs and concerns. Whenever there was a problem, they stood by their work and rectified the situation. The charges were exactly as bid and any corrections did not incur additional cost on our part.

This was a big job as I have quite a few cabinets throughout the house; kitchen, butler's area, Jack and Jill bathroom and master bathroom. The cabinets look great. They took the time to discuss colors and choices to make sure that I saw enough options to know what I wanted. Went with a linen and they use an environmentally friendly paint and sealer. The stair rails were stained black with a semi gloss finish and look great. I found them to be extremely professional in all tasks, equipment and communication. I appreciated the fact that everyone had the tools they needed to start and finish every day. They sealed off the house with sheets of plastic and taped everything very expertly. They were not the least expensive and I am so glad I didn't base my decision only on price. I would use them again in a heartbeat! My house looks fabulous!

I was looking to modernize the cabinetry in the kitchen and master bathroom for a rental property, and had explored options for painting them. I hadn’t considered staining the cabinets until I requested an estimate from Cabinet Refresh and Scott Viers suggested it during the appointment. I had concerns that a black stain would darken the room too much, but the knowledge and experience that Scott demonstrated was clear and gave me the confidence to trust him. The work was scheduled to take 3 to 4 days during Thanksgiving week. The Cabinet Refresh crew showed up on time each day and kept the work areas neat and clean, even protecting old carpeting that I mentioned was going to be torn out. The majority of the sanding and staining was done in the backyard, and when they were finished, there was no debris or any evidence left behind. The lead assigned to the job went out of his way to communicate throughout the process patiently answering questions at each step. The work of Cabinet Refresh transformed the cabinetry that I once hated into one of my favorite aspects of the house. Scott and his team are true experts and I couldn’t be happier with the finished product!

The cabinets were done in five days but the trash compactor space took longer because the cabinet needed to be custom made. All turn out fine in the end. They did a great job!!

Scott went up and beyond the call of duty. The client had a sick spouse who could not be moved from the home. There was extensive damage from leak and we needed to make repairs without moving out of the home which made things much more difficult for Scott and his team. He was always accommodating, did the work quickly with a minimum of disturbing the occupants. He was always nice, always professional, always looking out for the client's best interest. The work was quick and looks beautiful. No one would ever know there was so much damage. Thanks Scott and team!

Cabinet Refresh is such an amazing company. Scott and the whole team went above and beyond to make my dream house more updated. They are so helpful and really listen to you and work with you so you get the exact outcome you want. My house could not be more gorgeous! They did the kitchen, stair case and floors. We had a great experience with Cabinet Refresh. We rebuilt our kitchen in 2000 with natural finished oak. Over time, the finish had deteriorated and we got tired of the golden oak color. We decided to redo the existing cabinets in white. We got several bids ranging from too low (to trust), to very high. Nathan returned my call promptly, came out, assessed our job, described the method and materials he uses, and gave us a very reasonable bid with no hard sell. We have a very large kitchen, with an island and separate wet bar area. His men were great! The job was done in 4 days! The kitchen looks fabulous (bright and clean)! The paint is so smooth on the door/drawer fronts that you cannot tell that they are a ‘grainy’ oak wood underneath. Nathan responded promptly to any questions I had during and after the job was finished. The men were here every morning at 8 and left at 5, cleaning up nicely each day. They set up a tent in our driveway and used it for painting all of the door and drawer fronts (there were 58 pieces!). Everything got stored on racks in the garage on overnight. The crew was very polite, professional, and worked extremely well together. There were 2 workers the first 2 days, and 4 on the last two days. After removing the doors and drawer fronts, everything was very carefully covered except the exposed wood cabinetry that was to be painted. We didn’t end up with any over spray or unexpected paint in the covered areas. They also installed the new knobs and pulls that we had picked out. We would definitely recommend Cabinet Refresh to others.

Last year we worked with Nathan and his team to refresh all the cabinetry in our fixer upper condo. The bright white finish on the cabinets is excellent they seem impervious to stain and scratching - wine, coffee, pen marks etc wipe clean. I have 2 kids who have not been let's say, 'very gentle' with the cabinets over the past year so we needed several repairs. I called Nathan and they did all the fixes (1.5 hours worth)for free (including a whole new drawer!). That is an outstanding level of customer service. I would highly recommend Cabinet Refresh and plan to use them when we buy our next home.
